Floors of Castle Oblivion [Open] Empty Floors of Castle Oblivion [Open]

Post by Cadmon Sun Mar 22, 2015 9:04 am

It was amazing where people popped up sometimes. Well, today day a heartless would find his way to a mysterious castle in the middle of no where. He had portaled here with his corridor of darkness. But hadn't really gave it a distinct it a distinct world to take him too. Hence how he got here. His eyes wondered to different pieces of the large structure. It had to be like fourteen stories... it was huge.

Cad did find the castle very beautiful. it's designs all sorts of exoctive twists and turns and the outside had a nice coloring. "I like the decoratives. I wonder if anyones home? Said the Emblem. "Its so quiet here though..." Cadmon muttered a little as he now discovered the world to actually have a creepier appearance the more he dweld upon it. "I'll just walk in and explore for awhile."

No harm in exploring right? It took Cadmon a long time to budge the door open enough for himself to crawl through the crack. He quickly noted how heavy it was. So his descion was to leave it open for later. If he decided to come back own here in the future, it wouldn't take him so long to open the door a second run-in.

"Whew! Now to see if this castle has any lost treasures!" Cadmon examined the white room, it was nothing like outside. It was stripped of color. The Relic of Atrocity could here his voice echoing as it climbed the stairs and walls. "Spooky~"

Floors of Castle Oblivion [Open] Empty Re: Floors of Castle Oblivion [Open]

If Alexander had a knack for any one thing, it was inexplicable timing. An almost eerie amount of coincidence seemed to be on his side whenever he went out adventuring- or maybe no coincidence at all. Who could say whether or not there was some omnipotent entity, authoring bizarre circumstance in order to amuse itself? The thought vanished from Alexander's head as quickly as it appeared as he rolled out of the portal that appeared in the emptiness that was Castle Oblivion.

The raven-haired youth laid out on the floor, curiously surveying the surroundings he found himself in. His red eyes traced the environment curiously as his svelte body sat up from his position on the ground, looking about his as he took in all of the white.

Alexander had been around a lot of worlds. Mostly the rich or "noble" worlds, but a few of the towns too. This place was very clearly not like those other worlds. For one thing: the architecture was totally different from anything he'd seen before. He knew he was in a building of some kind, and so he could have been wrong, but given what he knew of the worlds he had been in, a giant white room wouldn't fit thematically.

He got to his feet and dusted his clothing- he hadn't been wearing pajamas this time, and had selected clothing more suited for exploration. He had some sackloth pants that looked new, but to a person not familiar with the dress they'd probably assume they were older. His shirt was a simple, white T-shirt made of similar material but bleached to brightness.

A strange, bouncing noise came from behind him, and he suddenly twirled to be greeted by a large, bouncing creature with cat-like features. "Oh," Alexander said to himself, sort of confused. "Meowjesty. Where do you come from?" The creature bounced up to him and made a strange noise- halfway between a purr and bark. The crown on it's head shifted slightly.

"Oh. That makes sense, actually." Alexander scratched his head. "And no. This is actually the first time I've gone somewhere I've never been. Or, wait, maybe the second? Should I count the world with the card people...?" He tapped his left index finger with his right one contemplatively, when Meowjesty made yet another noise.

"A few hours, give or take," he replied as he dropped his hand back down to his side. He began to walk forward through the large, white room as the creature behind him began to bounce too, that weird noise echoing lightly as it did so. "Unless it's boring. Then we could go back early." The creature made another noise.

"The princess didn't show up," he explained. "I'm a little worried, but Melvin says not to be concerned about it. 'Delays and complications' he told me." A pause in his speech, but not in his purposeful movement as he approached stairs on the other side of the room. "Whatever that means."

As Alexander placed a foot on the first stair, he could hear something from the otherside of the room. It sounded like footsteps, and it made him stop. "Do you hear that Meowjesty?" The strange creature halted movement, before it shuffled around on it's stomach and faced the opposite side of the room. "I don't think we're alone."

Floors of Castle Oblivion [Open] Empty Re: Floors of Castle Oblivion [Open]

Post by Cadmon Sun Mar 22, 2015 2:45 pm

Words echoed from above, Cadmon could hear the sounds of people talking... but it was strange. Previous to the noises being heard, he sensed no hearts in the vicinity. How odd? Even Heartless had hearts, so what kind of person was really deviod of one? If they did happen to have a heart... and if they could go so undetected, would that maen they were super strong like The La Vaes?

The question replayed in his mind as he ran up steps and came into contact with two beings. A Cat... and an older boy. A teenager with darkly colored hair, but older-looking clothing. What world could he have been from? "Oh um.. Hi there." The Relic was reluctant to have been training his hungers lately. Since this castle was so out of the way, it might've sparked a fight.

Actually...?

The more Cad thought about it the more he came to the conclusion. If the human didn't have a heart, then obviously Cadmon wouldn't be temptated. Therefore it failed causing any reprecautions, no reason to worry anyways. Obviously his pupils failed to dilate and send him into his primal instincts, making him feel a little lighter. It was good since he probably wasn't ready to be battling yet anyway.

"It's uh, its nice to know I'm not alone here. I'm Cadmon." The boy held up a hand to wave to the Nobody. A natural spark of rivalry was felt inside Cadmon for an unknown reason. Maybe because they were polar opposite species? Whatever the reason, Cad's shyness almost made him wanna leap back down the stairs.

"Were you talking my to yourself? I heard two voices, but all you have here is a cat?" Cadmon spoke kinda hesitantly. Due to the oddities of the universe, he halfway expected the cat to turn into a live-person. Regardless, at least if it did he would have his question answered and wouldn't look too stupid. Maybe?

((Sorry for the fluff, I was trying to make a long post so i don't look lame loool))

Of all things that could come into view, Alexander was surprised to see another boy. His eyebrows raised and his expression shifted as his eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Oh!" He let out the small but audible noise, somewhat expressing his surprise but mostly sounding flat and unperturbed. "Uh, yes, Hello," Alexander responded to the boy, unsure of what to say next. Was he a citizen of this world? Where in the heck was Alexander? Maybe this boy knew.

"My name is Alexander," he replied to the boy, a slight smile forming on his lips. The young man seemed friendly enough, so this shouldn't be too bad. "This is Meowjesty," he introduced his companion, jabbing his thumb towards it and the creature bounced in confirmation. "And, no, I was talking to Meowjesty, but I don't know where the second voice would have come from," he replied honestly.

He was silent for a moment, contemplating the idea of third voice. Was there another person that Alexander didn't know about? There could have been- Alexander really didn't know enough about where he was to conclude otherwise. And just like that, out it came. "Hey... do you know where I am? I'm a bit lost."

(hey, don't worry about it)

When the boy talked, Cadmon listened as his eyes gazed around the floor's scenerey. It was so blank and dull in the floors. The place lacked a lot of color and no exaggeration, not one bit of furniture existed here. However, it was kinda cool, how the structures were shaped and everything was bleached white; Cadmon would've liked it better for the walls to be painted at least. "Hi Alexander. " He spoke in between the older male's sentences. "That's so odd... I could swear another voice was coming from a higher floor. Maybe I imagined it?"

"No, I came here by accident...Sorry..." After answering the man's last question. The heartless walked around the room, casually exploring it. "Maybe someone lives at the top; we could go check?"

Alexander shrugged. Maybe he did imagine it- who could say? Alexander was more interested in the boy before him, and trying to figure out where he was. Alexander started to approach the young man, not sensing any danger from him. "Could have been," he imagined out loud. "I don't know. This place feels weird."

He did frown slightly though at the mention of Calum not being indigenous to this world. "Darn," he sighed heavily, before resuming a contemplative look as he examined the room more. It was just a blank, white space. Like a canvas or a piece of paper. Somebody needed to draw on it, and for just a moment the feeling overwhelmed Alexander as he drug a finger along a smooth, almost silky wall.

He withdrew his hand to his side, nodding. "Maybe somebody does. Maybe some other people live here, too! Let's go, Cadmon."

Alexander was a nice guy, it made Cadmon feel less of a loser when talking to the man. As the Nobody commented on the weirdness of the place; Cadmon nodded in agreement. It appeared he was examining the walls and stuff too. He seemed to have his head where it needed to be after all.

The Emblem felt kind of bad when he discovered that he wouldn't be able to help Alex. This made Cadmon look at the floor and scratch his cheek awkwardly, however. When Alex answered him, excitement in the wording, the heartless made a grin that stretched his lips far and wide.

"Yeah! Let's go, it should be fun." Cadmon jogged over to a styled door. The only color in the room emitted from this object. Cadmon would tug at it until it opened, a bright light shot into his face. When the light died out he found himself in a strange area... He turned his head, searching for Alex.

"I don't think were in Kansas anymore... err... Castle anymore." Cadmon immediately felt weird. Why would he have said Kansas, what did that mean? Eh, whatever... He put the thought to his side. Awaiting some kind of response from his temporary companion.

Well my, my, my!

He couldn't help but smile to himself. Now these two were certainly ripe for the plucking, now weren't they? It simply wouldn't do to throw an incredible event and not have these two lovely specimens of chaos to add into the mix!

He simply *had* to have them! He couldn't have this event without them! It wouldn't be right to the public!

*Click*

With a snap of his fingers, time itself stopped. Oh, he did love that feeling... Cadmon and Alexander were both helplessly frozen to his whim. Of course, he wasn't here to hurt them himself...that would take all the fun out of watching them hurt one another!

Stepping out of time itself, the Gambler cracked his knuckles with a cheery grin.
"A fair catch, if I do say so myself! Buckle up, gentlemen, you're about to be taken on quite the adventure! Off  we go then!"

Cadmon and Alexander have been temporarily transported.
