To cast it Further

Today this day was in a sense no different then the others that passed, the darkness continued its flow through time in its consent unchanging stream as the children played and walked the path of endless space within their realm. It was still and quite, the ravagers of strife were far from them and peace loomed troubling into their future at this rate. But all was not well

Lenneth sat alone in his thought within his flying castle's nerve centre, he wasn't physically alone per say as the heartless always roamed freely within his domain but rather he was isolated to his own thoughts for a change. No one else was currently present within the room he kept to himself with much conscious thought beyond their desires and animal instinct, it was here Lenny could precede the very depths of his own intelligent in piece while still safely within his court.

Many days and weeks Lenneth has spent within his kingdom only, unconverted with the worlds beyond the darkness just ticking away their timers to their end. It was peacefully for his kind to exist unprovoked in the last 20 years of a golden age and maybe it would maintain itself even in the rising indecent that seemed to plague his light world counterparts. His people found evolution and grew to become much more then they were as did Lenny himself.

Still though in the back of his mind there was just the feeling of uncertainty he could not shake about the future, a looming shadow that gave him such unease that even the pleasures of a free life could not erase only mask in temporal stares. But this too did not last long and the feeling at the back of his neck, the eerie feeling of being haunted by a threat to his very existence nipped at him like a burn that the La Vaeas felt to this day.

There was no magical or physical evidence to support this and he knew better then to trust a simple feeling of gloom like that. And yet Lenny could not shake this thought that just picked at him like a fish bone. Why though was the question that would bother him the most as none in the world would know of him or at least as far as his own knowledge went, only a few loose ends would know of the charm lord personal and even then they shouldn't have had info much on his position of power let alone his capabilities as the heartless king.

Things were getting hard now then they were in the days of old it felt, the light certainly shinned a lot oddities and showed him how large everything was, it was almost too overwhelming to think about alone. And despite his court's fine intentions and comforts it was hard to relate to to their every growing love for him that might even blind their clarity to his blight. To be adored, loved and seen as flawless was one of Lenneth's many desires and natural blessing bestowed to him but authenticity was the price paid.

It was hard to figure out someone if they entire being charmed like that, it was frustrating when dealings beyond Lenneth's understanding came up.

For now maybe he would need some time away from the safety of home to clear this cloud of doubt, somewhere else where the light could maybe shine a path from fate's hands and show itself to him. He hated thinking that the radiance would be usefully one day. Shifting away in darkness he would soon find himself on a world of light with questions about himself.
