Wolfram Empty Wolfram

Post by Zienna Fri May 01, 2015 12:10 pm

Name: Wolfram

Race: Centurion/Somebody

Description:

Standing 12 foot tall, this hulking behemoth isn't one to be provoked, or at least that's what people usually think about when they see him. But then, would you dare to try testing that when you're face-to-face with this guy? His armor has been tested in battle for years, and it shows with the various scrapes and scratches that litter its surface. The spaces between the abdominal plates on his armor glow whenever he is ready for battle, and if viewed from the right angles, they seem to outline a face. The glow brightens whenever he uses an ability.

Personality:

Wolfram is a man of few words, rarely ever going beyond grunts, groans, and gestures to get his message across. He may come off as a hardened warrior with a burning desire to test his mettle, and he is, but once the initial impressions come to pass, he is--as Zienna often says--a real sweetheart, a gentle giant in the right conditions. He has a strong sense of honor, and is not one to back down from a fight, nor does he relish in his enemies' defeat. He may give himself a brief celebration when he bests a worthy foe, but never would he be blinded by past victories.

He respects his adversaries, save for the few that manage to substantially rub him the wrong way. Running parallel to his physique, he possesses a strong spirit that would never waver. Once he sets his heart to it, there is little to stop him from chasing after his goals. And honestly, would you try to stand in his way? Even if someone were to try and stop him, he wont hesitate to set them aside.

History:

Wolfram was more of an experiment than a 'real' denizen of Heaven. He, along with a few others, were created for the sole purpose of keeping the demons from breaching the Gates of the Skies, and for years they had done so without fail. Although artificial, they were infused with souls of their own, but they were never treated as anything other than creatures whose purpose was simply to protect, and over the years, they had grown into that mindset.

When the situations regarding the exiles had grown out of hand, he was one of the few selected to purge the borders from them. He spoke against the move and was promptly exiled himself. Confused about his situation, he came to the conclusion that he was sent out to carry on with the purging, whether he agreed with it or not. But no matter how many he killed, he was never welcomed back, and this only made him become more and more vicious with his 'mission'.

Eventually he met with Zienna, Nero, and Isis, and engaged them in battle. He was overwhelmed by their attacks and his own exhaustion, and for the first time, he bowed his head to accept his defeat. But the final blow never came. Instead, he was offered to join them and simply... explore. He laughed at the offer and retaliated so he would get the death he deserved, but somehow, Zienna had talked him into accepting the offer. With nowhere else to turn to, he just stuck around as a permanent member of the team.

Equipment:

Crywolf -- A large ax with an enchanted blade that glows whenever Wolfram's armor glows. Nothing much to say other than it's heavy and unwieldy if the user is less than a 12 foot hulk.

Primary Elements
1.) Light
2.) Earth
3.) Metal
4.) Fire

Base Ability: Tough Hide -- Physical Damage against Wolfram is reduced severely. Magic Damage remains the same. Speed and Agility are reduced by a moderate amount.
Base Ability Cool Down: Passive

Tier One
1st Skill: Unmoving -- Effectiveness of knockback, knockup, and similar position-affecting effects are reduced moderately.
2nd Skill: Heavy-Handed -- Wolfram puts considerable force behind his physical attacks, able to stagger opponents that attempt to block them. This also means he can't immediately follow up with another swing.
3nd Skill: Hellfire -- Crywolf's blade ignites as it swings down into the ground, splintering a small, radial area and causing jets of fire to erupt from the cracks in the earth. CD: 3 posts
4rd Skill: Jagged Earth -- Wolfram stomps on the ground, sending earthen spikes to jut out from the ground towards a target area. CD: 3 posts
5th Skill: Reinforce -- Wolfram reinforces his armor with Earth and Metal, giving him a moderate boost in defense for three posts. CD: 7 posts
6th Skill: Shatter -- Makes his reinforced armor explode outward, dealing slight damage to enemies around him.
7th Skill: Fireball -- A humble fireball that deals slight damage. CD: 2 posts
8th Skill: Shatter Shard -- Fires a barrage of Glass shards designed to shatter on impact, potentially doing minor splash damage in a small area.

Tier Two
1st Skill: Tamper -- Reinforced armor can be super heated to punish those who get too close to Wolfram, counting allies. (Note: Only the chest plate is affected.) If active when Shatter is used, the armor explodes outwards with an added mix of Magma, Molten Metal, and Glass, increasing the damage done to moderate, and burning those affected for one post.
2nd Skill: Infernal Blade -- For three posts, Wolfram's ax is coated with Molten metal, providing a slight boost in damage and burning targets.
3rd Skill: Stone Pillar -- Cause a chunk of the earth to jut out of the ground. CD: 4 posts
4th Skill: Tremor -- Deliver a mighty blow to the ground, splintering it and dealing slight damage to individuals in medium area. Those caught within striking distance are knocked up into the air.
5th Skill: Entropic Magnitude -- Create a localize earthquake in a small area to slightly damage and disorient affected individuals. Larger entities suffer a greater effect.
6th Skill: Splinter -- Large spikes shoot out from the ground at a small target area, dealing moderate damage. Spikes can either be Glass, Earth, Metal, or a combination of the three. CD: 6 posts
7th Skill: Fortitude -- Infuses Wolfram and surrounding allies with holy energies, severely boosting their Endurance for 10 posts. CD: 15 posts

The only problem is foritude which rather a high or severe endurance increase would do
