It had been quite some time since Kahdija-better known to the rich, privileged sods that were her clients as The Black Swan-had gone to another world on business. She had not been part of the caravan of the most trusted dancers originally..but when another dancer-named Dalima-ended up breaking her left leg, Kahdija had taken her place. She was to dance at the governors home, in commemoration of his son's promotion in the navy. They had arrived several days early, in order to adjust to the world, take their payment, and then spend it however they deemed necessary. While the other dancers were spending the night in the tavern they had been so generously granted the upper floor of, Kahdija was not content to sit and babble with a group of other women.

To that end, she had managed to sneak her way out of the Tavern, using the open window and the darkness she so easily blended into to make her escape. She was now walking in the business district, looking distinctly out of place with her extremely revealing clothing, for she had not had time to change into the attire of the world, and did not care. For allah's sake...they act like showing even the tiniest amount of skin is a criminal offense.. she said, her arabic accent becoming thicker as she muttered, looking up and down at all the shops, hoping to find someone willing to take the coin of a foreign woman, whom was wearing such revealing clothing..or at the very least, someone to talk to that wasn't as daft as her fellow dancers.

Marigold and crew had landed in the dark, dank and dreary world of Port Royal. The three stuck out like sore thumbs with their out of world attire and their whole beings themselves just reeked of out of place. Marigold, as usual, was having a smoke against a building in the business district. She had asked around for such a place mainly because she's the business woman. A steady stream of smoke blew from her ruby-red, full, pursed lips. Schwartz was hanging upside down on a building, swinging back and forth. Her poncho flung over her face and revealed her daggers, her bronzed skin and the loose fitting clothes she wore. Ysl'Dae was having a cigarette along with her queen and was scoping out the occasional soldier that came by. Her emerald, snake-like eyes scanned them all closely, something of which scared them off whenever they attempted to ask what their business there was.

"These soldiers are so flimsy, my Queen. Maybe this world can be taken over quite easily, granted a lot of pirates are charmed here, no?" Ysl'Dae asked curiously and she gazed over to her queen and closest friend. Marigold, who had been listening to her, nodded softly and returned the gaze.

"There's always a leader though. We have to find them and see if they can be broken in. Much like a new pair of boots or shoes that I can stick my foot into." Marigold responded with a smile. She turned her attention forward and noticed a woman wearing just as equally out of place clothing as them, wandering through the business district. Marigold liked the outfit the woman was wearing, noting its difference in culture and how exotic it looked on her partially revealed body. "Hello there and who just might you be?" Marigold asked in her head and had hoped she could lock eyes with the woman enough instill a sort of... Curiosity into her. Should she fail to do so, Mari would just approach the woman herself and ask if she knew much about the world.

"I'm so bored and it's so dirty here! Why is this place so old school and crummy!?" Schwartz complained through her clothing. With the added fabric of her poncho against her face, her voice was muffled even further. Honestly, the three were a sight that couldn't easily be ignored, even if people wanted to. Their actions and attire were just too far out there for a world like that.

As the exotic young woman made her way down the rows, she found herself picking up traces of noise. Curious, at this time of night. She made her way down towards the source of the noise and came upon a trio of women. They seemed to not be of this world. Normally, she would just walk on past. But..the leader of this group met Khadija's Sandy colored eyes with her own ruby ones. She couldn't see any intent in those eyes. Regardless, a grin spread over her lips. She found herself stopping in front of the trio, her head turned to face Marigold, her tassled top coming to rest against her toned stomach as her skirt-like dress swirled to a rest near her feet. Hello. She said simply, wanting to make a good first impression for now. It simply wasn't often that you found women like this in a world like Port Royal. She could see something in the eyes of the two she could see. Training, experience. These were not simple wanderers either. More and more interesting...

She started to fit pieces together in her head, even as she spoke and other images filled her head. These were outsiders, with weaponry, experience, and likely training. There was next to no chance of these people being peaceful. Somehow, that attracted her to them more.

Schwartz felt the movement of another person grow closer to the group and quickly backflipped from her position on the building and landed with finesse. Her hair and scar continued to keep her face hidden somehow and her poncho flipped back into its regular position, which hid her weapons and body. Though one couldn't see her eyes behind all the hair clothing, one could feel the stare of the petite assassin on them. Marigold herself smirked when the sandy-eyed woman approached them and reached into her coat's pocket, to pull out a cigarette pack. She pushed a stick out and offered it to the young woman. Ysl'Dae put her cigarette out on the side of the building and gave a soft smile to the brown-skinned girl. Ysl stepped forward and gave a small bow of respect.

"Hello, hello, our queen had hoped you'd come. You are like us, no? A foreigner to these lands?" Ysl'Dae asked with a light tone. For the time being, Ysl was going to be the voice of her queen towards the young woman who had approached them.

Marigold herself continued to look the woman up and down. A lot of the women and people over all who they've met so far, had a really interesting sense in fashion. From her perspective, Marigold wanted an outfit like that, but tailored more to her own personal tastes. Then again, having an outfit just like that in of itself was still very gorgeous and the fact that the color was black made the dress even more desirable. Beneath the clothing, Marigold wanted to know more about the girl in front of them, so when she finished checking her out, she locked eyes with the sandy-eyed woman and widened her smile.

As she watched the woman with the poncho flip down onto the ground, Kahdija took a mental note of the movement. She was one that focused on her flexibility then. However, her attention was quickly brought back to Marigold. She reached into her coat...and pulled out something that sent tremors down Kahdija's spine. Cigarettes. She was a smoker herself, but she was usually unable to get a hold of any, because they were so ungodly expensive in Agrabah. It took all of her willpower to act normal, and not snatch the cigarette away or take it with trembling hands. She smiled softly and nodded her thanks to marigold as she broke the filter off of it with her fingers, looking around before placing it in her mouth and cupping a hand around it, lighting it with an ember that came alight on her finger before shaking it out and taking a deep drag of it, the familiar taste and smoke filling her lungs. She tilted her head away from the three women and blew outwards, a smoke ring forming. As the pale, almost reptilian looking woman gave her a bow of respect, Kahdija held the cigarette away from her and returned the gesture. However, it was her question that interested the exotic girl.

Why of course, I'm only here on business. Fortunately, we had some setbacks, so I dont have to see that Khaneeth of a man who we were paid to dance for again for some time. she said simply. If any of the women knew the woman before them, they would find her actions strange. She typically had a strong dislike for leadership, but there were occasions where she could ignore that hatred. The pale girl before her might have called Marigold her queen, but there was something..off about that. She didn't have that air of "holier than thou" that most-if not all-leaders had. So, she would make an exception. That, and she was very much grateful for the one vice she had. It was impossible for her to afford them anywhere. When she met Marigold's eyes again, she saw that her smile had widened, making Khadija's own smile do the same. She quickly placed the cigarette back in her mouth after she had finished speaking, and it was clear that she was relishing what was a rare treat. She looked at the coat from which Marigold had taken the pack out of. C..could I have a few more? It's..very hard for me to get these back home. Their outrageously expensive, since they have to be imported. She asked Marigold, a bit of desperation creeping into her sandy eyes. She wasn't lying, Agrabah did have to import all their cigarettes and tobacco, and it was very expensive for even one cigarette.

Marigold watched the eyes and body language of the woman after she took the cigarette. All she really had to see was the deep drag, followed by the puff of rings that she blew out from her mouth. She was impressed with the technique, seeing as Marigold was usually boring with her exhalation of smoke. Already, they started on a positive road down friendship. Ysl'Dae continued on with the Q&A and Marigold listened, as the woman in front of them explained that she was supposed to be dancing for someone. Mari listened closely to the tone the woman spoke with, even her accent.

"We too, are here on business, but let me stop myself for a moment and excuse my rudeness. We have yet to introduce ourselves. The woman whom you've accepted the cigarette from, is Queen Marigold Sanguinis de Darkson. I am Ysl'Dae Emeraldis, Right Hand to the Queen and to my queen's left, is Schwartz, Left Hand to the Queen." Ysl'Dae introduced the three of them, once more bowing in respect. Schwartz, the one with the long blue hair and large blue scarf that hid all of her facial features, also bowed in respect towards the woman. Marigold herself stepped forward and offered the woman a firm handshake. During this exchange, Marigold noticed the woman's eyes dart back and forth between her and the coat pocket which held the cigarettes. She became aware that where this woman was from, cigarettes were pretty much a rare treat. Feeling generous, the queen reached into her pocket once more and handed her the entire pack. There were around 22 cigarettes left in it. Ysl'Dae nodded towards the action and smiled to the woman. "The queen insists you have them." She confirmed and Mari merely nodded to her.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

Post by Khadija Wed Apr 22, 2015 8:33 pm

When the pale woman introduced herself as Ysl'Dae, Marigold-again starting with queen-by her full name, and the tan, blue haired girl as Schwartz, before bowing again in return, acknowledging their gesture of respect to her. As she straightened herself back up, she took the offered hand and shook it, her deceptively smooth fingers revealing that they were calloused in all the right places for an archer to have callouses. Her handshake was firm, and Kahdija returned it, but it was easy to see that her handshake was slightly weaker. That was another indication that she was not meant for front lines combat, or that she was just simply not physically strong. However, when Marigold offered up the entire pack of cigarettes, the hand gripping hers trembling a bit as she hesitantly reached out and took them, Ysl'Dae encouraging her as she smiled and gripped Marigold's hand as firmly as she could. This one was alright. She occasionally found leaders that were competent. This was one of those times. Thank you..you have no idea how much this means to me..as for names...mine is Kahdija Adil. I imagine that none of you would have any trouble with my name compared to yours..but if you just don't want to call me by my full name, Dija is fine too. She said softly, the hand with the pack coming up to let her take another drag from the cigarette she held in her mouth, blowing another smoke ring up into the air. If Marigold was paying any attention, she would have noticed that around the edges of her frame, Kahdija seemed to become duller when she had first approached them. Now her frame was brightening, and the area around her was becoming darker as she forced her shadow cloaking ability to be put at bay. She was enjoying this rather strange meeting, and she wanted to enjoy it more thoroughly. She didn't need to vanish into the shadows in the middle of a conversation.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

Post by Marigold Darkson Thu Apr 23, 2015 2:06 am

"Khadija Adil... Rolls right off the tongue." Marigold finally broke her silence and repeated Khadija's name. Her tone was very calm and business-like, almost as if she held the title of a businesswoman rather than that of a queen. Her smile remained and she gently stroked her chin with a free hand and released the handshake with her other. Her eyes scanned around Khadija's frame once more and she noted a few more key differences from the closer appearance, along with the handshake. The woman before them was brimming with a sort of power and the queen was quite curious as to what her abilities were. She figured that the woman was more than just a mere dancer and wanted to put this hunch to the test. Mari looked back and forth between Ysl'Dae and Schwartz, before Ysl nodded and continued to speak.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Adil. My queen also says to not worry about the cigarettes, she has way more back on our ship. However, what our queen is mostly interested in, is what a beautiful woman like yourself, is doing in such a dreary area like this? She said you mentioned something about dancing for a man, but noticed that you are also experienced with a weapon, given your firm handshake and callouses. Are you also a warrior of some sorts?" The snake-woman asked curiously and seemed to relay the messages her queen sent her telepathically. Ysl's voice was firm, yet had a gentle tone that showed they were genuinely interested in what Khadija was doing, besides just dancing for some prolific figure within this dank area.

Schwartz herself wandered off at one point, seemingly just leaving the group for the time being. The act seemed random, but someone like Khadija would be able to tell that it was a lot more meaningful, than random. Marigold stayed and decided to finish off her cigarette. She blew out a long stream of smoke and seemingly giggled, as the feeling of it tickled her nostrils. She put the butt on the floor and put it out with her boot. The woman also used this time to reapply her lipstick, which has been fading since they started traveling.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

Post by Khadija Thu Apr 23, 2015 12:17 pm

When Marigold herself finally spoke, Khadija was surprised. It was actually quite a pleasant voice. Not too deep, but nowhere near high in pitch, with a calm tone. She seemed to enjoy the company of the exotic woman as well. Even if this woman was a queen..Khadija felt no resentment towards her. However, she felt those eyes rake over her frame again. She knew without a doubt that Marigold had noticed her push back her cloak of shadows. When she was told not to worry about the Cigarettes, she simply smiled and nodded her thanks again. But, that compliment that Marigold had for her did not escape unnoticed, as the moment she was regarded as beautiful by someone like her, her cheeks darkened in color ever so slightly. It would remain for a bit, but when she was questioned what kind of warrior she was, she clicked her tongue. She noticed Shwartz wander off as she did so. The feeling she got from the girl made her tense up. From what she saw, if that girl wanted her dead, she would never notice until it was too late. But..then again, if she had been wanted dead, she wouldn't have gotten this far. She allowed her guard to drop further. If the feeling she got from the girl was any indication, then it showed that Marigold was starting to like her.

Normally, she wouldn't share her secondary occupation's training and usefulness with anyone, but..she liked this one. She decided to trust someone, for once. However, when she opened her mouth to speak, a familiar voice that she just barely heard made her freeze. She looked right at Marigold and Ysl'Dae

DIJA?

.

Pardon my language for a moment but..Fucking Shit. If she comes here asking about me, please say that you have no idea who I am. She said as she stepped back into the shadows, her typically noticeable skin darkening and darkening until she vanished into the blackness, and the colors around her brightened. She had vanished into the shadows. No sooner than she had, a woman with blonde hair and skin of similar darkness to hers walked down the street, calling out Kahdija's name and walking right in front of her, seeming to not notice. There was something off about her though..she was wearing a dress that was similar to that of a woman's of this world. As she got a sufficient distance away, an arrow seemed to come out of nowhere, landing right by the woman's feet, scaring her into running away, screaming. Khadija then stepped back into the light of the shop, the cigarette still in her mouth, a wide grin on her face as she bit back laughter..a simple bow in her hand, and a quiver on her back.

My weapon of choice, as you so kindly asked of me, is the bow. I also have training in swordplay, I have a Yatagan and Scimitar. Weapons of bandits, most typically. But, they are the most easy to come across. She said as she squeezed her bow, the thing dissipating into shadows again, as did her quiver. She then took one last drag of her cigarette, blowing a smoke ring in the direction of her fellow dancer before dropping her own cigarette onto the floor, grinding it into the ground with her own surprisingly bare foot. Her outfit made it impossible for her to wear shoes of any kind, and so her feet were very durable to heat, sharp objects, and really most anything. She stayed silent for a moment, her grin never leaving her face..but after a few moments, the realization of what she had just done sank in. Her grin faltered, and she looked away from Marigold and company, her eyes darkening in what looked like shame. She had hoped she could keep herself composed before them. That hadn't happened. Well...now you've seen how I usually act. I would imagine your interest has started to dim now. she said quietly. This was a stark change. She did not like rejection, and she felt that was all that would be coming down on her now, just like when she was a child.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

Post by Marigold Darkson Thu Apr 23, 2015 4:14 pm

Marigold had anticipated Khadija to say something, as shown by the sudden movement on her lips. However, another voice was heard instead and the young woman apologized for the use of her profanity. The fact that she used profanity to begin with and did so quite easily, impressed Mari further and was glad that Khadija was able to be so relaxed around them. What impressed the queen even more was the girl's ability to sink into the shadows. She had disappeared completely and when the blonde haired and brown-skinned woman passed by, the two only watched what would happen next. Soon enough, an arrow struck just shy of the woman's feet and she ended up shrieking and running away. Marigold raised an eyebrow and when Khadija returned from the shadows, all she'd see is the pleased faces of both Ysl'Dae and the queen.

Mari honestly liked the girl and just from her own skills alone, she realized that she could become a real asset in her grand scheme of things. Marigold decide to mull the thought over some more, but kept her concentration on Khadija and listened to where she attained her skills from. When everything was said and done, the woman put out her unfiltered cigarette with her bare foot. The queen drew the conclusion that the woman had very intensive training and more than likely grew up poor and unprivileged, much like Schwartz herself. Marigold locked eyes with Khadija once more and wanted to see the spark in the woman's eyes. That one spark alone would have given Marigold more than enough information about the woman, to understand where she came from and how she could award her for cooperation in the event she does sign on with team Darkson.

"The queen is quite impressed with your skills, actually. She wants you to smile again, saying that your face is much too beautiful to have such a sullen look on it." Ysl'Dae said and Marigold nodded. They both enjoyed her display and showed no signs of rejecting her whatsoever. "Marigold says your skills are reminiscent of her two little sisters. She enjoyed your display of shadow manipulation and your skills with the bow. She'd like for you to stare into her eyes, if you will. The queen would like to make a deal with you." She stated with a calming smile.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

Post by Khadija Thu Apr 23, 2015 10:09 pm

She noticed how pleased they looked, but Kahdija still felt bad. She had shown her true self, and that was something that made her saddened, she tried her hardest to keep her real personality-Blunt, brash, crude, and headstrong-away from her business personality-Polite, quiet, and unopinionated. However, something she would never have expected happened. She was told to smile, that she was far too beautiful to look sullen like she was.

That certainly grasped her attention, her eyes locking with Marigold's once more, a glimmer of that spark she was looking for revealing itself. It revealed a headstrong, independent, crude, and compassionate woman. At least, it would if she knew how to look closely enough. Ysl'Dae recited the compliments that Marigold had for her..and it irritated her. She understood that there was something that made her speak for her..but she wanted to hear what Marigold had to say herself.

Alright...I'll hear you out...but only if queen darkson tells me what she has to say herself. I don't mean to offend any of you. I just prefer to speak directly to whom I'm talking to, not in a overly damn complex way with a third party speaking for the other half of a deal. More of her real personality was showing itself now. She was clearly testing the waters. She didn't know why Ysl'dae spoke for Marigold, nor did she know why Shwartz left, but she felt the absence like a knife, and it kept her on edge. The woman had the feel of a trained killer coming off of her, and knowing that she could be anywhere in the darkness left an uneasy feeling in her stomach. Still, she was interested, and never broke eye contact with Marigold, the spark she was looking for intensifying as her confidence surged.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

Post by Marigold Darkson Fri Apr 24, 2015 3:00 am

She saw it in that instance, right then and there. The spark that she looked for a minute ago, flashed before the queen and she liked what she saw. Beyond the polite gestures Khadija made towards them, Marigold saw the real her for that split second. The next step was seeing if the woman would actually be ready for a business proposal that was rather cut and dry when it came to morals and often involved violence should the wrong people get in the queen's way. Mari's decision was reached just after a certain thought, when Khadija had spoken out about her feelings on the way of how they communicated. A smirk formed on her lips and Ysl'Dae couldn't help but smile.

"As you wish, Lady Adil." She said and took several steps back, as Marigold approached the woman and kept eye contact with her.

"You have quite the rebellious mouth on you. I like it." Marigold said with a matter-of-fact tone. "Just from that small moment you've had with Ysl'Dae, I saw the real you beneath those sandy colored eyes. You are a woman filled with passion and great inner strength, who more than likely hits the ground running. You are exactly the type of person I look for when I recruit for my little... Business endeavor." Marigold stated and placed a hand on her chin. She looked Khadija up and down, but this time in a different light. She saw the woman for who she really was, the one who spoke out her honest opinion to the queen. "I want to bring a form of change to these worlds, Khadija. I am both a queen and a businesswoman in my own right, but unlike most pig-headed leaders, I know my strength lies in the people who I trust and hire. I want to trust and hire you, Khadija Adil." She stated bluntly. "I am going to be honest. My methods are going to include business expansions across the multitude of worlds I will be able to visit. I pretty much want to place my name and buildings into every world I come cross and slowly reshape the economy. Now, there's no other way to simply explain that, but I figure I'm not going to have you swim through bullshit to know what you'll be doing. No. I am going to be straight with you. I want your abilities as a warrior and also as a dancer, seeing as you referenced it before, to help further my goals. Of course, you'll be working under me, but you will retain all of the freedoms you currently have, plus being paid for your services once the business venture shoots into the high heavens. There will be opposition of course, but that is because not a lot of people will understand what I'll be doing. That is why I need your skills, Khadija, so that you may take down any physical opposition that may come and impede my progress, or should I say, our progress, should you decide to join." Marigold explained calmly and clearly, her smile ever so bright and her gaze locked into the sandy orbs of the woman in front of her. "There is a lot of risk involved, even death is a possibility if you accept my proposal, yet I will not fail to accommodate your needs, or grant you solace whenever you need it." Marigold concluded her proposal and held out a firm hand to Khadija. Should she shake, that would be their unspoken agreement with one another. "So, what do you say? Are you on board?" She asked with a smile.

Post by Khadija Fri Apr 24, 2015 9:17 pm

When Marigold did as she asked, and explained everything to her simply and politely, Khadija thought for a moment. She was planning on getting the lower class to band together..depose the sultan. She could do that on the side..this was an offer that she was really in no position to refuse. The risk of death was something that made her wary of this..she wasn't too sure about the deal when Marigold gave her that information. But..even if she was a mere exotic dancer with skill with the bow and blade, she was never one to let outstanding debts occur. She wasn't sure of this..but it was the best way forward for now. So, smiling, she took Marigolds hand firmly, shaking it.

Alright..I agree. But..I want to make this clear, before it becomes an issue down the road. I am no bandit. Killing civilians is not something I will do. I will be your assassin in the crowd. I can blend when I need to, as you saw. If someone is a challenge to you, I will deal with them as needed. No questions asked. She said as she looked around. She was clearly bothered by Schwartz's absence. But, the deal was struck. She was on team Darkson..for now. If her loyalty would stay, or if something would push her to be an enemy was yet to be seen. She hoped the first would be the truth, and the second was just paranoia..

They shook hands firmly and Marigold couldn't have been any happier. Khadija had the one condition that she not be sent out to kill any civilians. Once again, the woman showed that she was an honorable and respectable person, something of which Marigold could work with. They shared the same sentiments when it came to having civilians killed, but they more than likely differed in opinions on why civies shouldn't be killed. Nonetheless, Marigold would agree to the term.

"Believe me, I wouldn't want to kill civilians either. Only my most troublesome of targets I will send you to go and assassinate. That also means you'll be working alongside Schwartz... How interesting." She stated and realized that only two other people have ever worked alongside the petite assassin. Almost as if she were on queue, however, Schwartz appeared from Marigold's shadow and looked to be chewing on some type of food.

"I couldn't find any good snacks, geez! We need to find a more modern place, with better food choices." The petite woman exclaimed and leaned against the wall casually. Her eyes and facial features were still covered, but it was clear that the blue-haired assassin was looking directly at Khadija. "So did she say yes, Mistress?" Schwartz asked casually.

"Yes and as of today she will be working alongside you, Schwartz. I wish the best of luck to the both of you and hope you'll become good comrades." Marigold said sincerely and looked towards the small girl. She gently pet Schwartz who seemed to shift her focus on her queen for a moment, before returning her gaze towards Khadija. Naturally, however, everyone was quite glad that Khadija had joined their little team. "There is a world called Radiant Garden. Find me there should you ever need to seek me out, or if I call a meeting of sorts. There are and will be others who have also joined, so I hope you'll get to meet them soon. For now, welcome to the team." Mari said, her smile remaining.

I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open) Empty Re: I Am not a Singer, but a Dancer (Marigold, Open)

When Shwartz finally showed her face again, Khadija was able to relax. Granted, she figured she was safe from any assault by the woman, but it was comforting to know where she was. As she was fully welcomed to the Team, Khadija couldn't help but smile.

Radiant Garden..it was good to keep that in mind. She would remember the name. However, their little meeting and introduction didn't get to remain happy. She heard a woman shriek. Instantly, her bow returned, her quiver on her back. But..now she wasn't wearing just clothing. A set of very manly looking armor appeared on her person, her sandy eyes seeming to glow in the darkness as the helm formed around her, solidifying and making her appear to be a man with a bow.

I do not wish to cut this meeting short..but I don't leave the little people out to dry. She said as more and more voices could be heard. Shit. From the number, she guessed it was a crew. I..may need help with this. She said, gesturing for any of them who wished to follow to do so as the cigarette she had placed in her mouth was dropped to the ground, which was then grinded into it by a waiting boot heel. She then moved, not even looking back to see who was following. She Vanished into the darkness again, the only way to track her being the areas that became brighter as she moved past them, the areas dulling in the muted moonlight again as she left the area. She was very compassionate, and didn't wish to see any civilians hurt, or even worse: A life ended. She would not allow it.

Marigold saw the face on Khadija as she was officially introduced to the team. However, their meeting was cut short by a shriek and it the voice belonged to a woman. Mari's ears twitched slightly at the sound and she was introduced to Khadija wearing a suit of armor in the next moment. The woman smiled at this sudden transformation and how determined and compassionate the woman felt towards helping those she deemed the "little people." Khadija mentioned she was going to need some help, something Marigold wouldn't dare refuse to her new ally.

"But of course. Schwartz, rooftops. Ysl'Dae, you're with me." She instructed to the guardians. Without any words, Schwartz scaled a building and found herself on the rooftops. She ran off in the direction of the shriek, her footsteps silent. Marigold and Ysl'Dae didn't need many hints as to where Khadija was. They would move quickly, the only footsteps heard belonging to Mari and Ysl'Dae. Schwartz was on the roof and Khadija was hidden among the shadows. They'd have two excellent elements of surprise and would do well to use them wisely.

The Captian:

Ah, the wonderful port Royal. Of all the islands in this wonderful world, the port was always Captian Daniel's favorite to visit. Oh, okay. He just loved to raid the place. He laughed darkly as his crew found women to take as their own. They were at sea for months now, so he wouldn't stop them. He personally strode off of his ship with an air of confidence. His crew was some fifty strong. A small crew, for certain. But..the guards were rather inept, as were the Redcoats that were patrolling the city. Even now, they stopped sending men on a death march, or simply turned tail to guard the governor and the witch queen. His dark laugh became more and more sadistic as he watched his men slice through the few redcoats on patrol, women screaming, children crying..yes, he relished these sounds. However..as he turned his head to his first mate, who was no doubt leading the pillaging, he watched in fury as an arrow went through his head, striking him down with ease. The ringing of blades being drawn throughout his crew punctuating his death as the captain himself drew both of his blades.

As Khadija moved through the darkness in silence, Schwartz never far from her field of vision on the rooftops, Khadija found herself sneering more and more in disgust as she watched people running in fear. She was right in her guess that she would need help. As they reached the port, she saw some fifty men, all taking civilians as their prizes, some were already having their way with their victims in alleys. She quickly dispatched several groups, using her cover of shadows to better her advantage, slitting throats and then using her agility and speed to move out of the way, her cover coming back after seconds of being visible before she loosed a regular arrow, piercing others through the eyes. She stopped three of those groups, wounding several of them to be either finished off by the others in her group, or bleed to death. before making her way to the front of the pack, fury emanating from her form as she listened to a man tell a woman he had between a wall of brick and a wall of flesh that he was better than her, because he held the power. She moved purposely behind the woman, notching her arrow, feeling her magical power flow into it as it became coated and razor sharp.

Wrong. The power belongs to the people. She said, her cover fading as she released her arrow, watching as it slammed through the mans head, blades ringing as she notched another arrow.

Marigold and company traveled throughout Port Royal to eventually come upon the source of all the shrieks. Many Redcoats dead, women taken away to have heinous acts done to them and children having the witness the entire ordeal. Mari's face showed no sense of emotion at the sight of everything, she was a blank slate.

"Schwartz, get to the alleyways and kill every last one of the pirates. Cut their knobs off as well." She instructed her assassin.

Schwartz grinned beneath her scarf and in the blink of an eye, she had disappeared off from the roofs. While in the alleyways, Schwartz used her finesse and agility, to swift bounce between the walls at a low altitude. She traveled quickly and started with kicking the pirates off the women, before she used her blades to mutilate their lower area, before she slit their throats and allowed them to bleed out from both areas. Schwartz giggled at how small they all were.

Meanwhile, Marigold and Ysl'Dae joined in on all the fun. They let Khadija take the lead and watched as she loosed arrows back and forth, while also using her blade to silence those who came to her. Marigold finally saw Khadija's skill up close and in person, so it was definitely a treat for her. When it came to them taking action, Marigold crushed the skulls of those bleeding out on the ground with her boots. Marigold took out both of her sickles and danced around the area elegantly. She dodged hits as if she were moving water, lopping off heads, crippling their bodies and bathing in their blood. The queen and her guardians were finally able to cut loose.

Ysl'Dae rushed into the battlefield. The snake-kin woman impaled pirates upon her spiked towershield and threw their bodes off and away. She bashed skulls with the shield as well, showing that she was more than capable of using it with speed and power. When it came to her sword, however, Ysl'Dae spun several times, gaining momentum and winding up for a devastating horizontal slash. When the enemies attempted to take advantage of her wind up, they were met with a powerful and brutal cleave, that slashed their bodies in half and sent their remains flying to their comrades.
