The Tenth, The Librarian

Post by D10 on Fri Aug 14, 2015 12:40 pm

Character Name: Ezekiel Kizeke
Age: 10
Appearance: Ezekiel has a snow-white hair, with pale-white skin. There are tan rings around his eyes, which are round and bulbous. Zeikke appears to be frail, but that is simply his appearance. He wears a dirty tunic with a red coat over it. Over that, he wears a black trench coat.  His hands are covered with leather gloves fitted to them. His shoes are steel-toe boots with thick rubber, firmly strapped to his ankles. There is a mark on Ezekiel's left side of his neck with a hexagon followed by a D. On his back is a Seal. This seal is simply a marking made by Dr. Kizeke.  Ezekiel is 5'5" and weighs 140 lbs.

Appearance

Race: ISO
Heart Element: Light
Primary Elements:Metal, Electricity, Space

Statistic Questions
This short questionnaire exists to help our approvalists check against our existing statistics and see where you fall, thus allowing us to start your character off at the point most representative of their current power. Answer honestly and truthfully.

  1. What is the maximum, without magic, your character has ever lifted above their head in terms of weight? Pounds are preferable, but the metric system is accepted. | Ezekiel is capable of wielding a giant drill spear with ease. Due to the extra function, this would put the weight greater than a buster sword from the internal mechanics.
  2. In terms of physical damage, without protection, what is the most powerful blow your character has been able to endure? Were they rendered unconscious as a result of this? | Ezekiel hasn't been able to endure much. I'd say he has T1 or T2 END but how he was played was more regenerative than tanky.
  3. What is the fastest your character can run without any additional help? | Ezekiel is capable of running at a maximum speed of 35-40 MPH give or take.
  4. How quickly does your character react to attacks that they can sense or see? | Ezekiel has pristine reaction time, and his reaction time allows him to pick up multiple things at a time.
  5. How fast does your character accelerate? | Ezekiel is capable of reach his maximum speed within a small fraction of a second.
  6. What is the most impressive feat of accuracy your character has ever demonstrated being able to accomplish? | Ezekiel has multiple occasions. He is able to operate as a sniper from a mile away easily. He once sniped from such a far distance, adapting to the weather and presence of wind. He has been able to strike someone with two crossbow bolts within a short period of time from a decent distance. Zeikke is capable of firing his ranged weaponry without being directly behind them and having to aim. He just needs a view of the area in the direction the weapon is going to be shot.
  7. What is the most powerful spell your character knows? How complicated is it? | Ezekiel's most powerful ability akin to a spell is his ability to generate materials out of thin air and form any form of object in perfect detail. He can create, say, chairs from this. He can also create massive amounts of complex architecture or even use it to create a complex machine of some sort. It has a wide amount of versatility, as it also allows him to manipulate what is created. Zeikke is generally able to use metal and electricity for versatile creations such as a Jacob's Ladder in order to trap someone in electrocution. Zeikke has also summoned a giant cannon to obliterate an object before, creating a massive crater. Another massive feat was him summoning a field of drills to shred apart anything caught within. Also, on contact with the consent of another to enter their mind, he has been able to extract every bit of information contained within.
  8. What is the most impressive item your character has ever made? What were its special attributes? | Zeikke's built fully functional drones as well as weapons that shift in form. He is able to create a spear that uses touch functionality to activate its drill head. Zeikke can create a fully functional, non-magical mechanical bird that flies on its own. He has also made specialized bolts that utilize the same mechanism from his drill spear. Also, Zeikke has an inner database of information that is a part of him. His mind manifests it as a bottomless and topless library in a spire-shape. This allows him to sift through all the data he has collected and scanned throughout his time.

Pre-Timeskip:
I'll keep this short and sweet, and also not the finalized history. If this doesn't work, I can replace it.

Ezekiel is not just an ISO. He is an ISO mixed with the experiments of a scientist, Dr. Kizeke. As such, his given names are D10 and Ezekiel Kizeke. He was the tenth of the experiments, but only one of two ISO's to be integrated as such. In fact, part of him is something entirely new created by such a scientist. Something that assimilates living and dead beings in order to create something from the ashes. The first experiment, D1, was the first of which to integrate an ISO into the experiment. However, D1 was different. Something was eating away at the Isomorphic body, and that was the original Dataloid Core. It consumed the Isomorphic code and created an abomination. D1 would be locked away, only meant for observation. D2 came along, and the scientist decided to do more research on somebodies, programs and ISOs. With what little ISO's remained, he left them be and decided to operate using programs for the next few test subjects.

D2 proved to be a bit more successful than D1, however there was still the half-life issue of the Dataloid core. The core was reusable, but required a new body after 3 days in order to stay active. D2 might have been a program, but the core had altered her code to allow a more user-like presence in terms of personality. The dataloid would learn to function like a human, learning and growing in the digital version of La Cite de la Cloches. It turned out that the dataloid was quite the artist. The adaptability and evolutionary growth of her artificial mind allowed for such a thing. In order to keep the code of the program from degrading, a program was built that was able to regenerate fast enough to maintain D2's erosive core. After a while, Dr. Kizeke and D2 grew to love each other and the dataloid became the equivalent of his wife. Thinking they were too alone, they decided to build another dataloid. D2 worked to create the appearance while Dr. Kizeke began to build a third core.

D2 built a little boy, and the good doctor assimilated the program with a much more functional core. He cut down on how self-destructive it was, and the boy turned out to be lively. Thinking he could fix D2's core, he decided to analyze a simulation of a Dataloid core to figure out what gave it the destructive property. It was the presence of the simplicity of the original program and the inefficiency of the build. This pressed the doctor to continue his research, drawing parallels between the core and Hearts. He created a copy of D2 and D3's memories, creating improved cores to keep them from eventually dying. Essentially, he made Dataloids immortal. However, what he didn't expect was the requirement of maintaining human interaction. Otherwise the memories and emotions faded. When he was trapped in his research, D2 and D3 reverted to the factory version. It put him in despair, but also drove him to keep producing advanced cores.

D4 came along and he attempted something new. Since by then he wielded a keyblade, he thought that he could use the Dataloid Core to produce something similar to a keyblade. When he coded a program to create a simulation of a keyblade, it turned out to be no better than a simple sword and had no powers. It wasn't coding that he needed. It was a compatible heart. This led him into researching the existence of heartless, somebodies and nobodies. Dr. Kizeke was compiling all that he had learned, and even began experimenting with the presence of heartless and nobodies using his keyblades. He came to understand multiple things about their biology, and what gave him such a key. Dr. Kizeke would develop D4 by combining the core with the ability to consume hearts. He knew it wouldn't be an immediate process, so he tried raising D4 as a child and a warrior. He programmed D4 to develop into what he thought would be an example of someone who could grasp a keyblade for their own. When D4 failed to obtain a keyblade, Dr. Kizeke knew that there was something missing. What was missing was the presence of  a replica.

Dr. Kizeke would journey the worlds to uncover the information on such a being, and as such found people who were perfect imitations of each other. Many iterations of such things existed, and it drove him to use D2, D3 and D4 as more civilian-based dataloids, D4 being the sentry of the Dataloids. D5 was the first weaponized Dataloid, built to be a replication of his own being. The replica would possess a keyblade, indeed, however it was a false one. Merely an imitation of his own without as much power. This frustrated the doctor, causing him to avoid the study of keyblades and instead focus on perfecting the dataloids. He'd recreate D5 as a replica build for archaeology, architecture, and research. A replica of himself that would be the perfect center of knowledge given enough time. In fact, D5 scanned, analyzed and filled his own inner database with information on the Datascape. When the time came to create another Dataloid, the doctor began moving towards more human creatures. D6 was created for the purpose of being an adventurer in his own way. He took bits of each previous dataloid and simulated that of the wild ones roaming the worlds. D6 would also be the first to use a cadaver in place of a program, created within the real worlds.

D6 would assimilate, revive and restore the body. It would morph to the custom appearance coded within the Dataloid core. While D5 and D2 would assist the doctor in perfecting the sixth dataloid, he'd learn one of his fatal flaws: D6 was not immortal and the core was burning through the body. Unlike programs which had the capacity to be adapted to the core, a cadaver is as it is. After a few weeks, even the healing component of the core could not overcome its needs to consume and maintain. D6 would end up just as much of a failure as D1. Continuing on, Dr. Kizeke would develop another cadaver-based Dataloid. This time he began crafting the Core out of different materials, allowing higher efficiency and adding its own energy core. The core fed off of the natural magics of the world, keeping the body in tip-top shape and the core humming along without consuming it. This would prove to be his first great success. D7 was his first artificial being to fully utilize the aspects of humans. However, the existence of D8 and D9 were experiments that will not be disclosed here. Because of D8 and D9, Dr. Kizeke came closer to realizing what he did wrong with D1 and attempted an Isomorphic Dataloid.

Dr. Kizeke knew that he was running on his last years. With D8 and D9 gone, he had one last attempt to truly generate his magnum opus. The Iso's name was Occam, and he understood what needed to be done. Why Dr. Kizeke needed a magnum opus was very clear between the two. Occam, knowing the Iso's needed purpose after their near extinction, offered himself. He saw Dataloids as the salvation for Iso' and knew that destroying his identity in order to create something new, something great was more important. Dr. Kizeke worked with D2, D3 and D5 to craft a core unlike any other. In fact, he used his collective knowledge of hearts as well as what he was able to learn from the Isomorphic being. From balancing the erosive and regenerative nature to implementing the conceptual design of hearts into its coding. Occam fused with the core, assimilated and assimilating it to create an Isomorphic Algorithm with a new identity and biological aspects. The one thing new that developed from this, or sort-of new, was the ability to become human. But it required some sort of treatment as human in order to maintain the development of emotion and subjective aspects.

That is when D1 re-emerged. It was an Iso corrupted by darkness. It fed at the code and was all-consuming. In fact, it was only a shell of the Iso used to create D1. It attacked Dr. Kizeke, but the surviving experiments protected the good doctor. D5 escaped as it was his directive to do so. D10, not understanding what was transpiring, approached D1. D1, prepared to consume and assimilate the newly-born Dataloid, was instead warded off by the savant power of the Isoloid. Staring into the shroud of darkness' eyes, the dataloid asked, "What makes a man dark?" to which the original replied, "They are forgotten and left to wallow in failure. Thrown away for another. When there was no failure afterall." Zeikke, pondering on this, walked away from D1. He didn't understand he left Dr. Kizeke to die. D1, consumed the dataloids protecting the doctor, but left the doctor alive. Taking the time to assimilate the doctor, D1 took and corrupted the keyblade he held. Using the man's heart, D1 took ownership from the doctor and cast his empty shell aside. D10, not given the time to develop on his own, was led by D5 into a safehouse outside of the datascape, outside of the reach of D1.

Somewhere in the Sea of Skies, D5 took the time to raise D10 and grow him into a proper being. However, what had happened thus far only encompassed the first seven years of D10's life. Eventually, he had to go out on his own and discover things for his own. To become his own being. that was the prime directive. Eventually, D10 would resume Dr. Kizeke's research. The point of it all? Evolution. D5, however, would eventually fall inert after D10 was sent into the real worlds.

D10 had eventually come face-to-face with Weiss, a sworn enemy of both Occam and his creator. Weiss had continually hunted the duo, trying to take them for his own experiments. While they had many key confrontations such as the one involving Roy and the one involving his acquaintance with Lenny and even one with Toviyah, they had maintained a distance. Being captured a few times didn't help, but they were able to play it safe. With Weiss' abominations coming into play, it made things infinitely harder. Hek had been an aegis to help protect them from the clutches of Weiss, but even he had to buckle at some point. Losing contact with Lenneth put D10 in a place that made him feel isolated. Their heist plan was no more, and Hek was increasingly becoming unstable. It came to a point where Occam had to suppress Hek. Ever since confronting Aegaeon, Hek had been unwinding into a mindless abomination himself.

Or maybe it was before that. But regardless, it caused D10/Occam to be captured. Weiss did terible things to them. Knowing the body was destructible and would rebuild itself, he dissected the poor Isoloid. As Weiss experimented on him, he had tapped into the heart of it all, the Dataloid Core MK X. It was built to be compatible with Isomorphic Algorithms, however with some adjusting it could utilize cadavers. However, Weiss couldn't use anything to connect to it without damaging it. Even its own defenses had warded off the deeper projects. Weiss used a number of tortures tactics to try and pull information out from Ten, but knew it was to no avail. Eventually, his own research had produced a similar product to the Dataloid core. Bringing it to Ten, the Isoloid warned of its unstable nature, akin to that of Aegaeon but Weiss would not have it.

Forcing Ten to work due to the threat of unleashing more Hekatonkheires into to the worlds, the boy complied for the greater good. It didn't just mean the worlds were destroyed, no it was more relevant. It meant the ISO's trapped in the Datascape were too vulnerable to the might of Aegaeon's superior brethren. Doing sub-par work, a core was created that operated with mechanisms imitating stem cells. It was complex and contained the processing power of a program. It was not on the level of the core within Ten, as it could not grant the full benefits of its artificial state. It was a synthetic heart of sorts, but unlike Ten's, it could not do much besides provide life. D10 continued his forced research, even buckling to his own curiosity and researching his own core. Weiss, ready to tear away the information on the more powerful core, had been caught by surprise by D9 busting through the doors and disabling the antagonist. Evacuating D10, they brought him back to his home with D5.

From there, it had been explained that D9 discovered what Weiss was doing, and with the assistance of D8 and Chancelor, had saved him from giving away the most critical information involving the core's composition. D5's core was burning up, and the dataloids knew it was time to lay him to rest. D5 gave Ten a copy of his database, and D8 and D9 had left. Sitting down with D5, they had a long talk about how to proceed. As the core began glowing through D5's chest, D10 knew he had to leave. As soon as he left, Weiss had been awaiting him. His fellow Dataloids likely escaped, but Weiss had followed him there. Not fighting back, Weiss took him and imprisoned him while he continued his own research. Weiss had decided to keep Ten suppressed, seeing him more of a threat rather than someone who could help revolutionize his technology. Weiss provided the technology for Automatons that gave them human-like bodies, allowing them to change in form and what-not. THis technology was derived from Hekatonkheires, giving new definition to what it meant to be synthetic.

Weiss has a stake in most technology-savvy worlds, having the main company building in Radiant Garden. His buildings are massive skyscrapers but normally keep their most dangerous research off-world with portals linking the buildings and research facilities. D10 continued to be imprisoned in the main HQ, awaiting D9 to break him out once more....if the Dataloid even considered it. He needed to continue the work Dr. Kizeke left behind. He couldn't let Weiss' business thrive. It was time to take a stand.

Kill the tyrant.

I would like to believe his synth his higher and based on the agility stat, it'd also be Higher.

But I do think STR is T2.

I think it'd be more T2 Strength, T3 Agility, T4-T5 synthesis

A lot of what he did was reliant on his mechanical ability

The site you referenced has a lower power scale than what we have. Taking into consideration of the descriptions you have used as well as the information on the site, this is what I have determined to be best suited. I do not think any aspect would be above T3. In addition, having a vast knowledge of something does not mean you are skilled in it.

ISOs, as far as I understand, are random occurrences that cannot be manufactured.

Flat out no to all of your Other Notes. They are things that are not allowed or need to be approved separately as skills or abilities.

Alright, but I would think he would have T3 agility and T2 strength instead of the other way around. It only takes t2 strength to utilize a buster sword with ease. But he's had more feats as a ranged combatant.

An ISO was not created. The ISO was the base used for the body. Based on the information, it doesn't say we can't use the body of an ISO. Like programs, there is still the ability to access their code and change it. He's integrated with an ISO.

That's fine. I'll remove them.
