How long had it been? Two months. Two months ago since Hayden raised hell on the once quiet and humble Twilight Town. Since then, however, Marigold had moved vast resources and money into the community and set about rebuilding. Mari had made sure to learn from the past and as such, had not erected another clock tower, but opted to leave a memorial for those lost in the tragic incident. This, along with many other deeds helped solidify the queen's position as the new world leader.

There was a bit of an overhaul to the area, as Marigold created a bit of a circus in the middle of the town. The popular areas like that tram common, train station and sandlot all remained, with the overall theme of the area not altered too extremely. She kept the natural Twilight Town flavor, something the people appreciated greatly. Yes, things had returned to a bit of stability after its last leader and the catastrophic events that followed suit during his tenure.

From her newly built office building, which currently was the tallest building by only a few stories compared to the others and situated at the top of the highest point in the town, was where she watched. Golden orbs looked onward towards the perpetual sunset, that while she had seen it quite often, hadn't bored her in the slightest. This was her vision when it came to taking over a world. Darkson rule, but with all the peacefulness and beauty that came with order in society. Even though she were addressed as a queen, she still acted benevolent and on the side of the people.

Since her arrival two months ago, Mari had indeed listened to the complaints of the people and tried to accommodate as best she could. Despite her demeanor and general absolution to her rules, Marigold was a fair and just queen. After all, she felt like the greatest weapon in a kingdom wasn't the military, the arms or even the castle itself, but the people who rested within. Yes, as long as they were pleased, they'd do anything to preserve the peace cultivated. Anything.

"Simple steps into complex designs. Not really what I had intended to do in such a short amount of time, but... At least it wasn't five years." The queen thought to herself. Yes, her efficiency and skills in leadership had grown in her short time of life. It would be an extended life for her, too. Decades, centuries, millennials... Being a vampire did extend one's life and kept them remarkably fresh all throughout. Though, she always figured her later years being spent on a nice quiet beach, with several different wines, food for years and plenty of sex. Especially the sex.

"I should have a meeting. Invite the Inner-Circle and discuss our current progress in this universe." She said aloud and nodded to herself. A thoughtful gaze now set itself upon the town and a gentle hand cupped her chin. A meeting was a perfect idea and with that, she was going to send out the message to all members that she expected to be present. It all took but a simple walk to her desk, which she then brought up the communicator, which with the help of her partner Zulu, helped established an array of sorts to all those who worked closely with the Darkson Company. Now, it were a matter of waiting to see who would show.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

There was something wrong. He could feel it. For a good couple of weeks, he felt himself under the crosshairs of a hidden enemy. He couldn't help but look over his shoulders, expecting a laser trained on his back. Granted, this feeling of paranoia was always present. After all, with all the people he killed, whether part of his own agenda or another's, surely there was at least a good thousand or so out there wanting to take his head. It would be safe to assume that all of them had the potential to do him in.

One would think that that much stress would break a man, no matter how sick in the head he may be. They'd be correct. But Zulu didn't work like most people. Sure, he seemed fine, if a bit ecstatic at times, perhaps even acting like the very definition of a healthy mind, but don't be fooled, the man went through a lot. Any lesser man would have snapped permanently after experiencing a fraction of the hell he went through. Even he himself snapped a couple of times. It could have been the mind-altering drug that he once took, or perhaps there was just something wrong in his head. Either were probable causes. The latter might be more believable, though.

Before he had nanomachines repairing his head, there were plenty of implants jammed into his brain, mainly placed there to make him a brain-dead puppet. The best thing about all that? While he was being controlled, he was fully aware, forced to watch as his prison of a body did what was instructed of it with no hesitation. When the implants were damaged and he was free from the people controlling him, he immediately fled. Of course, being a fighter since he was young and really not too many choices available to him, he set himself as a mercenary. He was already good when he was all flesh and bone, but his cybernetic body made him even better.

It didn't come without its price however. Mentally, he was pretty damaged and suffered psychotic episodes. Whether he got better after a few updates and fixes, or his mind simply adopted psychosis as part of his personality, tweaking it to make him seem saner that he really was, it was unknown. Whatever the case, he was glad the hallucinations had stopped.

But did they really, or was his mind only telling him that? Was the feeling of being constantly watched or even targeted be another episode? No, that couldn't have been the case. He didn't know how, but he knew it wasn't. "If someone's out to get me, then we'll just see who has a faster draw." He sighed heavily as picked himself up, walking over to the edge of Marigold's building rooftop. Looking at the eternal sunset, he couldn't help but wonder why the sky was locked in this world. There had to be an explanation, right?

Before he got lost in a philosophical search, his communicator flashed, alerting him of an incoming connection. It was from Marigold. What could she possibly need? He patched the connection through. On Marigold's screen, a static portrait of Zulu would pop up on the side. The communication network he set up was capable of video links, but he didn't turn his link on. By default, Marigold's was, and he saw her in a live feed that was playing at the top corner of his vision. That was one advantage of being what he was, nobody could look over his shoulder and see the feed themselves.

The communicators he made for Marigold's other acquaintances were tailored to their chosen aesthetic. They were very personalized and took on many forms, but functionally they were the same.

"Calling a meeting?" he asked sheepishly.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Seeker of Carnage Sat Sep 05, 2015 5:41 am

Three crisp, fly-looking dudes strolled through the rebuilt streets of Twilight Town. One had his tie undone and a punkish stride, the other very rigid in how he walked. In the middle, with the former on his left and latter to his right, had a much more calm and collected tone to his movements. A comfortable stride with some level of alertness. The stealthy facade of being relaxed while really being ready to swiftly unveil his pistol. They had moved along, each with a pistol underneath their finely tailored suits. They were mostly for show if anyone tried getting smart, but they were clearly professional guards of some sort. Or Assassins. But as far as people knew, they were classic PMC. Havelock peered over to the building they were approaching, taking his communicator and lifting it to his mouth. "Hey Shaka, why--" L'Ombra struck the man a look, stopping the heckler from whatever he was about to say.

Their communicators were shaped like circling ravens, black with a purple outline. The trio had entered around the same time Zulu had contacted the queen, L'Ombra fixing his tie and forcing Havelock to actually tie his. "You know the drill. Full-Windsor minimum." Havelock rolled his eyes, waving Sparrow on over to do it for him. The two more mature members of the trio shook their heads as the sniper obliged. As they entered, L'Ombra nodded his head as Sparrow immediately took the closest corner available. Havelock turned around and kept an eye on the exit and L'Ombra handled the usual greetings. "M'Lady. I think I know why I'm hear, however aside from congratulations being in order, I'm curious as to what this meeting is about. And, nice to see you again. And to hear you, Zulu." L'Ombra crossed his hands, right after taking a folder from Sparrow and holding on to it. "If you're interested, we have intel on something small, seeing as Del Ray might try to come back to Twilight Town. My team can take care of him, rest-assured. Not top-of-the-list intel, however, just competition for certain things."

Havelock displaced himself so that if the door opened, he'd swiftly move around it to deal with whoever tried entering. Sparrow was set to attack while Havelock occupied the entree and L'Ombra was safely protected. However, it was simply them making sure nobody tried rushing in. All three wore masks, Sparrow and L'Ombra wearing their specialized ones.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Tsumiko Mon Sep 07, 2015 2:07 am

“No, Tsumi. Focus. You came here for a reason,” the songstress scolded herself, slapping the sides of her cheeks as she attempted to pass off a serious expression. She hadn't been to Twilight Town since... well, since it was destroyed. The silver-blue haired woman came to pay her respects to the lives that were lost that day. That was the current mission, at any rate. She could get excited and lost in the shiny new buildings afterwards. She had already got distracted twice so far, but Marigold's reconstruction of the world had went along quite seamlessly and there was just so much to see.

It was Twilight Town, but it was different. The Clock Tower at the station was gone, replaced with a memorial that she was going to be visiting. All the way up at Station Heights... on the other side of town... Seems like her being easily distracted got her further off course than she thought.

With a sigh and a short pep-talk, the songstress gathered herself and made headway for her destination, a skip to her step. There was a peppy tune that followed in her wake, and she flashed a smile at those she past. It was more obvious in some than others that the memory of what happened had left a scar, but some were able to reflect her smile back to her. It was a sign to Tsumiko that there was still hope in the future among the people. They would only grow under Marigold's care and guidance, of that the songstress was sure.

In the light of the eternal sunset, Tsumiko stood before the monument atop Station Heights. The smile she had been wearing all throughout town had softened, fading away. The monument, paying homage to the Tower that no longer stood as a personal choice of the queen, took on it's shape and stood at about a dozen feet. The songstress was a little sad to find that the Station Tower hadn't been rebuilt as well, but she respected the decisions made and would have to deal with it. There were so many other additions made, however, that she was hardly one to complain.

“I hope all of you have found peace...” Tsumiko's voice whispered as she bowed to the monument. Stand up straight, she took in a deep breath and slowly released it. There was hope for the future, but the past must be remembered so that mistakes aren't repeated. And Tsumiko wouldn't allow any more to be made on her part so long as she could help it.

Her thoughts were torn away when the intense vibration against her thigh had startled her. “What in the... Oh yeah!~” Digging into the pouch she had strapped to her thigh, she pulled out the small device in which Marigold and one of her companions had given to her, a communicator given to the Darkson's 'inner-circle'. The only request that the songstress had made concerning it was that it could play music she could listen to in her travels. And so the result was a type of cellular gadget, with a receiving earbud she could use to listen to music. But... she wasn't listening as close as she should have during the explanation on how to work it. It should have been a no brainer as most teens on the more advanced worlds had one these days. Tsumiko, being as strapped for munny as she had been for a majority of her life, never had the pleasure of owning one... So what one of the many buttons she pressed to answer the call escaped her. But if it was ringing, then that only meant that Mari-chan wanted to talk with her!~ With her next destination in mind, Tsumiko gave a parting bow to the monument and made her way, communicator still in hand.

It wasn't much longer before she made it to the office building in which Marigold was. The somber moment she had earlier needed to set on the shelf for now. Happy thoughts!~ Swinging the door with a cheery energy, anyone in the room would be met with a being smile. "Hi, hi, Mari-chan!~ My comm thingy buzzed. Is something... going... on?" The cheery tone dulled as the eyes scanning the room seen the other three men in the room. They were the ones from that time... The one gave her the shivers... Miss Ysl'Dae was there, too. So that wasn't so bad. At least she could trust the green-haired woman to keep an eye on them.

Sucking on her bottom lip, the songstress trot over to the queen's side and then looked up at her. Despite the creepy vibes, she bore a bright smile. A friend of Mari-chan's was a friend of hers. No need to be unfriendly or suspicious. But her curiosity was peaked. For what did the lovely queen need of the simple songstress? "Sorry if I interrupted your business, Mari-chan..."

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Marigold Darkson Tue Sep 08, 2015 2:59 am

Marigold had sent out the call to everyone and was quite pleased to see that Zulu had responded, L'Ombra and his crew, plus the rest of her own family, but not Tsumiko. For some reason, something told the queen that the silver-haired songstress had a bit of trouble operating her communicator. Either way, her facial features showed visible pleasure that her comrades were all coming together. When asked by Zulu if she was calling for a meeting, the queen nodded her head easily.

"Yes, if you can already tell, L'Ombra and his group have arrived, so we're waiting on you and a few others. Make it here as soon as you can." She instructed and once he understood what needed to be done, the communication could end on their side. The same went for the others, who had agreed to meet up as planned.

While she waited for the new arrivals, the queen had taken a look at a dossier that the masked man presented to her. She opened the folder and easily thumbed through it. Her eyes scanned the material and it didn't take her long to come to a conclusion on what to do with the information. Marigold's golden eyes looked up to the man and with a serious gaze, decided to give him several missions.

"Find him and bring him to me. We'll have a fair trial with the victims of the attack two months ago. Once the trial has reached a verdict, the man goes to Zulu for any other additional information, then we kill him." She said in a very serious tone. The Queen only gave the man enough time to process her first orders, before going on to the second set. "Not only that, but I'm assigning you three, plus several other workers of mine on the hunt for Darius Fetch. We can't have a brat like him running around and causing trouble like he did. Capture him, dead or alive, but preferably alive. There's still hope for him, but if he gives you any NECESSARY reason to kill, then do it." She instructed right around the same time Tsumiko had entered the room. Her orbs trailed over to the silver-blue eyed girl and a soft nod came as her greeting.

"Welcome, welcome,Tsu-chan. You're looking very attractive as usual" Marigold complimented. Ysl'Dae herself merely bowed in respect towards everyone who had showed up, but otherwise stayed quite. "We have much to discuss, dear, but the others haven't arrived. I have briefed L'Ombra on what to do, but I wish to extend that same mission onto the rest of the group." The young woman explained and stretched herself out. She was quite relaxed as usual.

Though, several moments later, the rest of the crew began to file into the room. First was Himeiji, who wore her mask as she entered, but soon removed it. That's when she revealed her features and showed an aspect of her nationality. Her almond shaped, all-black eyes scanned over the room. There were the three from earlier, plus the blue haired woman who traveled with them some time ago. A simple bow meant for everyone, was what she gave, before she joined at Marigold's side and kept a hand upon the hilt of her blade.

Second was Three, who as usual, wore his casual smirk. When he came through the door, he saw how the room was set up and feigned a type of fright. However, it was all just an act and he chuckled, taking a spot over by the wall and folding his arms into his coat pocket. His own eyes scanned over the room and while he was glad to see Tsumi there, his hopes were once more crushed as he remembered that was Gwain's girl. A deep sigh came from his lips and he merely looked down to the floor, ears attuned to the room.

On the topic of the King, Gwain had came through not too long after. His size either rivaled or was larger than most of the bodies in there. When he spotted out his love, the man went to go join Tsu by her side. He looked over to Marigold briefly, his crimson orbs flashed in the twilight and he gave her a quick nod and grin.

Lastly, the final two who were expected to arrive, were the twins. Both Celia and Lily came in at the same time, the twins holding each other's hands. Celia had a big smile on her face, which turned even bigger as she saw how many people were in the room. There was a bounce in her step and besides the obvious few who she knew and really liked, the rest were nothing but potential test subjects. Lily, on the other hand, felt a little uneasy and so, she gave a bit more of a grip on her twin's hand.

At the moment, Schwartz hadn't shown up due to her having to run a few errands, but had decided that she would show up eventually. When everybody was accounted for, which Marigold made sure to account for by looking around the room.

"Alright, alright... Now that we're all here, why don't we all take a seat?" She asked and pressed a button underneath her desk. This brought up a long table, with several chairs that had exactly the number of people who were theoretically going to be attending the meeting. Marigold's chair was a bit taller and decorated than the rest, a "throne" in a sense. She sat upon the cushioned furniture and smiled towards the rest of them. Gwain and the rest of the Darkson family went to go take their seats down one side of the room and seemed to have sat in descending rank. Marigold at the front, Ysl'Dae at her right, an empty seat to her left for Schwartz. Those who sat on Marigold's right after Ysl, were Himeiji, Three, then Gwain, followed by the twins. The other seats on the left side were for those who were new to the family and from this current universe.

A stern and serious gaze lingered on the queen's features and she wondered what everyone was thinking. To them, it seemed like something troubled her and the air would feel a little bit tense. However, that completely changed when her lips quivered and widened into a smile. The young woman couldn't hold it in any more and her golden eyes shined with a sense of happiness and accomplishment. Before anyone knew it, she started to give a clap to everyone in the room and eased up.

"Congratulations are in order, team Darkson!" The Queen said with a cheerful tone. Her demeanor had remained proper, but it showed that she herself was quite ecstatic. "It has only been what, a few months since we last came here and look at us already! We work fast for such a small group of people, do we not?" The woman asked and peered over to the side with the newcomers. "Not only that, but we have some new members among our ranks. Which now begs the motion to start creating the groups you'll all be associated with, should I need a specific set of skills to be put to work." The woman explained. Her hands hand folded and rested upon the table, as she gazed at each person individually, pleased with the turnout. "But first, let me discuss what we'll be doing for the business portion of the Darkson Company. I will need all ears on me, for this will be important. Now then, media, media, media. When the word media comes up, which is the first thought that comes to mind? Magazines, newspapers, social networks? All of those and many more are important for creating an image and as such, I want our image to be as delightful as possible. Which is why I want to start with a wonderful commodity to add to the world..." The woman paused to build up a bit of suspense. "A night club!"

Just the mention of the two words "night" and "club," brought about a positive response from Lily. She immediately shot her eyes over to the Queen and widened them. Her older sister turned to her and smiled softly, a gentle, subtle nod coming from her.

"Why a night club? Simple, we give the people something to unwind from, something to release their inhibitions. Grant them relief from their stress and host parties, while typically enjoying the company of one another. We keep it fun, with a bit of class and make sure no one is totally disturbed by everything. What do you all think?" The woman asked and would cast her eyes over everyone. It was imperative she received feedback from everyone in the room.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Changeling Tue Sep 08, 2015 7:43 am

That was supposedly a rhetorical question, and had the queen not specified that she needed all of them to be there, Zulu would have stayed at the rooftops. "Nice hearing from you too, kid," he said in acknowledgement to the other assassin. Zulu can handle himself acting professional and properly business-like, but he never enjoyed long meetings. Mostly due to the fact that in meetings such as that, he always felt like the person he was talking to was trying to keep him there for some reason. Chalk that up to paranoia. Though so far, none of the Darksons gave him any reason to be wary. That is extremely wary. Being cautious was just his personality. He played his cards carefully for long-termed partnerships, knowing that the extended contact opened him to becoming too familiar and lower his guard, even if it was only a bit.

What could he say? When his work involved a large amount of deception, it was hard not to think everything was a ploy.

He dismissed his headgear, turned around and walked towards the rooftop door, but he stopped a step short. He crouched down and picked up a tiny memory card that he was sure wasn't there before. A small panel opened on his wrist and he inserted the card into one of the exposed slots and continued his way down to Marigold's office, all the while reading what was in the card. There was only one thing there, and it was heavily encrypted, but it was no match to Zulu's advanced technology. A message played in his head, and he listened to it while he went down the hall.

"Hello, Roy. Yes, I know who you are, but rest assured that I am only here to help you. I have heard of your unfortunate downgrade, and I am willing to offer a partnership. Open your services to us, and we will help you restore your arsenal. We will see to it that you will have new gear, or if you prefer, which I'm sure you would, we will let you have our schematics. Do with it as you please."

There was a long pause, but the message was still playing. There must have been more to it, so he let it run in the background as he entered the room. The assassin he met on his first time in Twilight Town was already there, along with a posse. The only other person aside from the queen herself was a blue-haired girl who he first saw in the coliseum. It was definitely a messy day. They were still waiting for others, so he simply acknowledged those who were already there with a nod but otherwise remained silent. The second part of the message played in his mind.

"You must be wondering why I am giving such an offer. Truth is, this outfit I've been running with is dead. There is no more 'we' now, it's just me. Which is why I need your services. There is a little known area right here in Twilight Town. The card you picked up has its coordinates, as well as the desginated date when we will need to meet. Do not go to the designated area until then. One more thing. Do not get too familiar with your new partners and friends. Keep this message to yourself." The message shut off just then, leaving Zulu to frown slightly for a few seconds before he recomposed himself.

The rest of the people in Marigold's inner circle had gathered and were told to take a seat. Zulu took the second seat to Marigold's left with a smile. The first might be reserved for the blue-haired member of the trio, seeing as she wasn't there and the other seats on the right were taken. He didn't want to stay at the farthest area, and nether did he want to be flanked with people he hadn't fully acquainted himself with. Again, a paranoia thing.

After everyone was seated, Marigold seemed to be thinking about something, but it turned out she was congratulating everyone on the progress they made with the Town's rebuilding. Indeed, it was a feat worth celebrating. So few were involved in a project that would have taken at least twice as long with the current tech level of the world, it was almost a miracle. But nonetheless, it happened. In accordance to the achievement, Marigold set her sights on grouping them according to their skills. I know exactly where I'd fit in, he thought to himself. There really was no other way to go about it.

Although she quickly changed the topic towards marketing the Darksons via construction of a night club. A vary basic tactic to make sure people stay loyal. You keep the majority of the population happy, they won't have a reason to rebel or undermine you. This was a really helpful tactic that Zulu himself used in a country called Alteria back in his home world. The place was full of criminals and deserters. But he turned them around. He made them see their potential, trained them to protect the only place they could run to. Then he reformed them. Made them into a real society. The funny thing was that the crime rate actually went down. The trick was to take what they were familiar with and slowly work unity into it. The criminals saw each other as family, and before they knew it, they were functional again. If Marigold allowed it, he might take in the people already locked up and turn them into some type of police force or military. He'd be sure to pitch that idea with her some other time. For now, letting prisoners go would send a bad message to the population.

"I for one know the merit of such an establishment in keeping morale up. I think it'll do well with the younger crowds, and a few older ones. But of course there needs to be a balance. I'm sure it is already thought out, but we'd need to think also of the people who aren't attracted to that kind of establishment. And... we got to be careful. Something like this is likely going to produce some... negative byproducts. Just something to think about." He shrugged his shoulders and breathed a silent sigh. If he had to be honest, the concern was due to one of his subordinates going on a rampage in a similar setting. He was fuzzy on the details, but that was due to him never wanting to remember what triggered the rampage in the first place.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Seeker of Carnage Tue Sep 08, 2015 11:41 am

L'Ombra smiled underneath his mask, his hands trembling at the idea that all the time spent with Del Ray was finally coming to a close. The man was awful at handling business, as well as almost had his only friends executed for something hardly as bad as some of the fools working for the Don. Now that he was going to be sent to capture the man who'd made the majority of his life full of blood, he could finally get vengeance for missing out on a lot of joys as a kid. Havelock and Sparrow looked over to L'Ombra, the same feeling in their hearts too. Darkness was consuming the assassin, and underneath his mask his eyes were those of a killer. Most people, Marigold including, pick up a feeling just by looking into his eyes. L'Ombra was a truly frightening man to a lot of people. But this was Del Ray's fault for putting him in the business, and starting him off early with the job of playing reaper.

"If you don't mind, I normally keep professional...but after the trial. After Zulu finishes with him. I'd like some time with him. I think there's a long discussion to be had between the two of us. But don't worry, ultimately the result will be the same." Havelock cleared his throat and loosened his tie, taking a brief step away from the assassin. Sparrow pressed closer to the corner; both allies knew exactly what L'Ombra was capable of and what he would do to the man ruling over his life. When being told about Darius Fetch, the trio nodded in agreement. "I'm sure that we'll be able to take care of him. It'll take some research and location, but I have something special for him. Which, I will need a few things in preparation, of course." L'Ombra straightened his suit out as a blue-haired girl entered the room. Marigold greeted her pleasantly, as Havelock looked behind his should to look at what kind of rump Tsumiko had.

"Havelock! No." Grumbling, the less polite member of the trio crossed his arms. "She's fl-" L' looked at Havelock and silenced him quickly. Nodding towards the blue-haired girl, his heart raced a bit. Just another person he'd like to bind with his roots and brush his hand across their cheek before spines of wood would impale them at several points. It would be in that moment L'Ombra would take them. Taking them as harsh as he could. But L'Ombra kept those thoughts to himself, focusing on Marigold. "Ah, it is that beautiful woman from some months ago. Nice to see you again. I'm not sure if we had a proper introductions. My name is L'Ombra, the improper one is Havelock and the silent one is Sparrow." Bowing slightly, Sparrow gave the same courtesy and Havelock did it with sarcasm. When the seats came, L'Ombra would take a seat but Havelock and Sparrow would keep their positions. "Don't mind them, they prefer a more protective position. As for the celebration. You two, bottles." L'Ombra snapped his fingers, his companions revealing a bottle of wine from their coats. Wood would extend from L'Ombra's body and root-like fingers from two different lengths of wood would retrieve the bottles.

Reeling them back in, L'Ombra grabbing the bottles from the wood before dismissing the lengths. "Besides some of my other capabilities, I do make my own wine. I've kept these bottles for this kind of occasion. I've left a prison and joined a kingdom. Now, if you don't mind, we should let them breath during our discussion and we can enjoy them later." He opened each bottle before shifting his attention to the business mentioned. "I think I can provide the drinks for the night club. As for other businesses, I'm pretty sure a pharmacy would do well. I know I could assist, but I'm more interested in the pharmaceuticals I can provide other worlds." He put his hands together, leaning back in his chair. "Aside from that, as you may know I'm a business man. Give me a project and I will do my best and turn a profit for the both of us. While, of course, cultivating the economy."

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Tsumiko Fri Sep 11, 2015 7:57 pm

Hearing Marigold's compliment, a light blush brushed the songstress' cheeks, and she turned a bright smile to the queen. "Th-Thank you, Mari-chan...!~" From the corner of her eye, Tsumiko was able to see Ysl'Dae bow to her, and so she bowed in return from her spot at Marigold's side. She was curious as to who was formerly on the comm, which was turned off just moments ago, but the woman kept the question to herself. If it was someone she needed to know, then they would surely meet sooner or later.

Drawn from her thoughts, Tsumiko sideglanced at the two men in the corner of the room. They were squabbling about something, though she wasn't able to make it out before the man in the mask silenced then with a single look. The authority he held over those two was rather amazing, yet terrifying. Unlike Marigold, who, while just as stern, seemed to rule with a more tolerant nature. Or at least, that's how it appeared to the songstress.

Tsumiko then turned from looking at Havlock, to blinking at L'Ombra. She, too, remembered him from their short meeting before. She never knew his name until then. After giving the woman a compliment, with which caused her to blush slightly, he introduced himself. "Ah. Th-Thank you. My name is Tsumiko." She said to him with a bow of her head, wearing a small smile as she did. “A pleasure to meet the three of you.”

Marigold then mentioned how she had just briefed L' on a task, one that she intended to bring up to everyone when they arrived. The songstress wondered to herself what it might be. It couldn't have been all that bad if she was going to extend it to even her. While she didn't fight often, Tsumiko was rather adept at combat - something that always managed to surprise others, she found out. She wondered if it followed that line of work, being that the shady man was given the task first.

It was at that moment that the first of the rest of the group had arrived. Himeiji entered the room and removed her mask, showing the face that last underneath. She didn't quite understand why, but Tsumiko was rather surprised by what she saw. A beautiful face framed by black locks. That wasn't the most striking feature, however. Dark black eyes seemed to stare deep into those she looked at. When Hime gave a bow to those in the room, the songstress bowed in return, trying to be polite.

Next to arrive was Three. While she felt as though perhaps their first encounter didn't get off on the right foot, Tsumiko nodded in getting to him. He seemed miffed, though, sighing as he lender against the wall. For a moment, she wondered what had gotten him so down.

But then another walked in who immediately stole her attention. Gwain came right over to her and she smiled up at him after a quick hug. Her habit of wandering had left them without seeing each other for a while, so it made her happy to see the king again.

Then came a set of girls, and Tsumiko almost immediately knew who they were. She had yet to meet them in person, but Gwain had told her much of his younger sisters, the twins Lily and Celia. They came in hand-in-hand and it brought a bittersweet feeling in her chest. From the few memories she had of her own twin, there were some haunting similarities, from what she could tell at first glance. She hid it with a bright smile, however, not wanting to cause anyone concern.

The last to arrive was a man clad in metal armor. Perhaps she was losing it, but there was something about him that seemed extremely familiar. But for the life of her, she couldn’t remember. Where, oh where did she meet him..? Perhaps it would come to her later on.

With quite the handful of faces now gathered in the room, Marigold announced the start to the meeting and pushed a button. A long table appeared, with several sets of chairs lining its sides. Marigold, of course, got the special looking chair. Special chair for a special woman. After everyone else took their seats, Tsumiko took hers, which just happened to be across from Gwain, who she flashed a smile. To her right was L’Ombra, and to her left where empty chairs. The only ones that didn’t take a seat was Havlock and Sparrow, who stayed where they were along the walls.

The first thing she spoke of was a congratulations for getting Twilight Town fixed up as fast was it was. Tsumiko smiled at the queen, but not because she felt pride in helping. When it came to the reconstruction, the songstress did next to nothing, and so she felt as though the thanks wasn’t hers to claim. The next topic came across media, and different ways to effectively advertise. And then she heard it - the idea that got her rather excited. Marigold announced the idea of building a nightclub for the people of the world to enjoy and to help promote the Darkson image. It wasn’t a bad idea in the least. In fact, it got Tsumiko actively listening and eager to play her part.

She also noticed, from the corner of her eye, that the same word that got her excited, was the same to get one of the twins excited. Which one was it, though..? The dark haired one was… Lily, right? Yeah.. That sounded about right. She was rather cute.

“I can provide entertainment and help organize events!~” She chimed in, in her excitement, raising a hand high in the air with a wide smile. It was the least she could do for them, not having many other skills she could proudly put on display.

The songstress then turned her attention to the metal clad man, who spoke his piece about the matter. It seemed he supported the club, but warned against the trouble that it could bring. And L’Ombra, with a snap of his fingers, had retrieved a couple bottles of wine from his men. Opening and offering some to the group around him. The scent alone was enough to make her cautious. When he made the offer, saying that he could supply alcoholic drinks for the nightclub, Tsumiko cast her eyes to the king. The last time she drank, which was also the first, she could hardly remember what happened. She was only aware that it was both pleasant and awkward.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Marigold Darkson Thu Sep 17, 2015 9:34 pm

Marigold had become quite pleased that her members were able to add the amount of input that they did into the topic. One thing she enjoyed about these type of open meetings, was that she really didn't need to do much thinking or speaking, her subordinates did that for her. Of course, this didn't mean she didn't have her own thoughts, but what she wanted the most, was to hear how everyone would contribute to the whole thing. Tsumiko, L'Ombra and Zulu had all pitched in their thoughts and what made Mari happy, was the fact Zulu had firsthand knowledge of how it would work out, along with the idea of balancing and keeping the drugs in check.

"All good points and I am grateful to hear how you, L'Ombra and Tsumiko, are eager to volunteer to help progress that. With that settled, you two will be speaking to Lily over there about the set up for it and everything, while I'll want you all to brainstorm ideas for other commodities we can use to bring in the minority not fond of nightclubs." Marigold said and easily transitioned into her next topic. Her eyes narrowed just a bit. "Now, here is the serious side of this. What Zulu said was correct. There will be contraband that will show up and I DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, want anymore drugs in this world. L'Ombra, I know you said you wanted to set up a pharmaceutical, but I want to personally see how the drugs will be used and if the tests will actually help those. As ironic as it is, drugs are the reason why this damn place was nearly burned to the ground in the first place." While she explained this, her eyes scrolled over to L'Ombra. She had silently admonished him for creating such a volatile thing in the first place.

"On the topic of research, I'd like to make an announcement and promotion." Her eyes wandered over to Zulu. "As of today, Zulu, you have been promoted to being the head of the 'Technical and Engineering' section of the Darkson Company. You will be working alongside Gwain and Lily, in terms of building up our provisions. I'm sure you know what I mean." The queen said with a bright smile. Those under Mari had clapped and gave the man smiles for reaching it up to that point so soon. "My second announcement, is that the other silver-haired young lady over there, Celia, is the head of our 'Research and Biological Development' department." Celia would happily bounce in her chair and give everyone a wide grin. "Why am I telling you all this? Simple. These two people and those who work under them, are the ones you'll be contacting, if you need something made, researched, etc." The vampire had taken a moment to let all this information sink in and thus, she took a very brief pause. After which, she hardened her gaze and looked at everyone present in the room.

"With that all said and done, let me return to a previous topic, shall we...?" She asked and the others had no opposition to that movement. "It is without a doubt that the person who wrecked Twilight Town to begin with is still at large. Darius Fetch is his name. Apparently some rambunctious and punk of a kid, who apparently started the whole blaze. This much my sources have confirmed thus far. I want him found." Marigold stated matter-of-factly. "I want him found and brought to me personally, preferably alive. If he gives you no other choice, then excessive force is permitted. But that's ONLY if he gives you absolutely no other choice." The queen explained. "Normally, I would have sent Himeiji to have him killed, but I thought long and hard about it during the last two months. I'm going to have a talk with him and we're going to settle this matter once and for all. Simply because it would bring closure to the people of this world and at the same time, he may know information we don't, so it is imperative that you all do your best to apprehend him. This is a Darkson-wide mission and it is of one of my importance, so can I trust in all of you to help complete this task?" Marigold asked and looked at every figure in the room. Her group not native to this universe all nodded in agreement. They had their mission and they would start after this was over. It was now a matter of who on her left side would say.

Wine was being passed around and Mari always loved a glass. She took a one of the wine-glasses and personally served herself. She wanted to. After which, she took a long sip and waited to have everyone's answers.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Changeling Fri Sep 18, 2015 2:07 am

Zulu kept a straight face throughout Mari's discussion, but his mind was partially picking apart the message he picked up earlier. He was sure only Marigold and her two primary subordinates were the only ones who knew his real name, so there was cause for concern if they somehow let that slip out. Another possibility was someone from his world mentioned him, or if the one who left the message was from his own world. If that were the case, then it was either that he had some loose ends to tie up, or he just found a potential ally in the greater scheme of things. Judging by how the conditions of their future meet-up was set, his contact was likely to be one who was in the same business as he was. He'd have to keep himself sharp.

As a bottle of wine was passed on to him, he pressed his finger on the table, letting some of his nanomachines to spill out and form a container. The nanomachines turned transparent after taking the form of a fancy drinking glass, which had a few glowing lines decorating the glass. As he poured some wine for himself, Marigold had announced that he was promoted to be the head of the Technical and Engineering branch of the Darkson's company. Basically R&D. Marigold's company applauded him, and as a form of acknowledgement, he lifted his glass and tipped it slightly to Gwain and Lily. It was a great honor, and a great advantage for his own needs. Not to mention that it won't be his resources being placed in all his creations made for the people he's working with. However, the things he'd exclusively use for himself, he'll create with his own materials. Just a preference really. "Thank you, my Queen. I shall put all my skills and assets to work."

The next announcement revealed the head of the biological equivalent to his branch. Surely, a combined effort would yield a variety of results. But being so young, Zulu had to reserve his judgment. He didn't belittle her abilities, especially since he never seen her work before, but he was surprised a number of times in the past, so perhaps there was more to the girl than what was visible.

He took a sip from the glass of his creation. His inner systems analyzed the wine for anything out of the ordinary. Clean. No poisons or other toxins. Next order of business was about someone name Darius Fetch, someone who was responsible for the tragedy that befell the world. Find him and take him in, basically. That was within his abilities and skill sets.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

L'Ombra humbly chuckled, raising his hands. He knew how to dance around the subject, manipulate the words and weave into a blend of truth and lie. Some knew exactly what kind of person he was, while others may be naive to such things. "That was a time where I worked for an evil man. Don't worry, I can use my abilities for good. I'll be sure to keep in contact with Miss Celia. However if we are to keep Twilight Town in the grace of other worlds, I can help form good connections. One thing I learned was how to build bonds." The assassin smiled under his technical mask, taking a pose with his finger tips clasping together. He scanned the room, noticing that he wasn't put in charge of anything at the moment. He felt that soon he'd take a more primary position in the economic structure of the Darksons as a liaison of sorts. It took time and calculation, and he wouldn't forget how Marigold was impressed upon their meeting when he introduced the elixir.

"I shall see to helping Miss Lily and Lady Tsumiko with the club. And don't worry about Darius Fetch, I have a few contacts that have caught him within the boundaries of the world of Dreams. Found leftover bodies, they were scorched pretty badly. Not sure how I feel as they were bandits." Shrugging, the assassin spawned a wooden goblet. Pouring wine into his own cup, he made sure there was enough for everyone. Part of his mask rose and he sipped his wine. "I will make sure Del Ray isn't in the way during our search. Zulu, if you don't mind I'll need a few things. But afterwards, afterwards." L'Ombra looked over at his companions. They nodded as they had their own glasses. "How's the wine? Needs some more time, in my opinion. I didn't let it age enough, but I'm rather content with its taste. Content's....just not good enough though." He peered at the wine bottle, jitters running through his fingers momentarily. Darius just needed to be alive. That's what he intended.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Veara Sun Sep 20, 2015 12:06 pm

The beautiful skies of twilight town...they almost compared to the perfect, sunny, cool, and breezy skies year round of the destiny islands. They were all relaxing at his place, gathered around the fire pit about to grill some quality steaks to celebrate successfully discovering two of the bladekey transformations. The first one Veara found out about only a day after receiving the blade. The first blade key transformation turned out to be a board capable of carrying up to five people. While the other was another they had found by accident.

An so finally came the appearance of his cohorts to the outside worlds of those he considered close that weren't from the islands. Though...one of his partners was actually from the islands....so I guess you could say he counted a little more..at least in Veara's head  he did which is why they always took his direction.

Though there was another and albeit more logical reason he took direction from the white haired one,  that in short was he was the smartest and usually never let emotion cloud his judgement regardless if he was angry or not. Despite being tied for the shortest out of all of them he did indeed have the most brain power, the kicker for him was that he also had common sense. He sat on the edge of the board, his legs dangling in the air while he simply looked down at the town beneath him. His red eyes having the reflection of the town before them. The boy simply smiled and laid down on the board, touching the smooth surface of the board as his feet lay between the two spaced out engines that were on the back of the board. This white haired boy was simply known as Garfield Santiago or Garth for short. An the one short term goal he had in this life was too simply ensure they got this trip done with despite the good vibes they had right now.

At the front of the board on the very tip sat the one who was tied for shortest at the height of only five feet. The silver hair drifted this way and that atop the head of this person as his green jacket lightly ruffled in the wind. Small black shorts which were clinging to the thighs of the person held petite legs that simply dangled off the board. This one well known as Skye, there wasn't really anything else too him except simply put he was Skye. Skye was a different type of character who simply wanted one thing out of life and that was to learn underneath his master and enjoy life with him

Behind Skye was a peculiar character of sorts. Constantly mistaken for a girl due to his petite body and happy nature, plus it didn't help he wore a white and pink dress. He sat behind Skye with both his legs crossed dangling off the left side of the board while he simply played with his braided pony tail. His bright greenish blue eyes looked down onto the town underneath them and he smiled brightly being able to see a new world. Though to be honest in the eyes of Harley it looked like it could have had some better days considering all the construction sites below them. Though to his knowledge he didn't hear anything about something happening to this place. Ah well, it didn't look that bad so who cares, right? This was the attitude Harley usually adopted about such things. After all there was only one simple thing that Harley wanted out of life and that was well... we'll keep that a secret for now.

Finally sitting in the middle of the board and strumming along on his ukulele was Veara. Dressed in his usual garb he simply strummed along on his ukulele playing a happy and calming tune for the rest of the group while they continued their descent downwards towards the town. Though they stopped their descent while they were just a little above the the tallest building.

All four of them looked over  to the left side and simply stares down at the city that seemed to be going underneath construction of some sort.

"Did, did we miss something, where's the clock tower it used to be the biggest thing here and it was so pretty...now it's just this drab and ugly building. I was hoping to show Su the clocktower now I gotta plan for another world." Veara spoke out first scratching the back of his head as he continued to strum on the ukulele. Garth slowly sat up looking over at the town and its reconstruction process. The bladekey board simply sat against one of the tallest buildings. Leaning against the glass window they were near Garth looked over at Veara simply blinking and looking over at Veara yawning. "Why not show her pranksters paradise with all the lights and rides I'm sure that kid would be in heaven." Garth spoke still yawning while he did making himself comfortable against the glass. Looking past Harley, Skye smiled at Veara and there was excitement on his face. "Vea-sama is it possible for me to come with you to the Pranksters Paradise...ya know like a....da-" Skye was speaking,  however Veara suddenly interrupted him and looked over at him and smiling. "What kind of question is that Skye of course you can come!" Skye's eyes lit up and he quickly began to speak once more. "Really so it'll be like a -" Though once as quick as Skye spoke once again he was interrupted. "Everyone would be coming, we'd be able to ride the rollercoasters and the rides and all that fun stuff." The excited smile on Skye's face slowly changed to that of a monotone stare as he simply stared at Veara who was smiling and he continued to strum his ukulele. Harley simply placed a hand on Skye's shoulder and smiled at him. "Not his type." Harley spoke smiling all the while, Skye simply turned the other way and put his head against the glass as well silent. "So one day the clock tower was here and the next second it's gone. How does that work?" Harley asked out loud changing the subject from Skye's horrible love life to the musings that they had earlier. "Maybe a magician is using for some kind of act and is about to make it reappear?" There was silence between them for a moment as the other three acknowledged what was said, they simply exchanged looks with one another. Garth scratched at the back of his head and yawned seemingly unfazed by his answer. "I'm not sure, but for some reason or another...I really doubt that..remind me before I stop caring again, why are we here?" Garth asked with a straight face and his usual bland tone that usually never expressed any sort of type of emotion, however enough that it wouldn't be monotone. "Well someone really close to me asked for me to be here and you guys were with me, and you were brought along. There's really nothing more." Both Harley and Skye looked over towards him with a questioning look when they heard the words close to me, Veara's response to was keep strumming on his ukulele looking over the city. Thus the questions began for Veara while, Garth simply tapped on his pants leg to the beat.

"Boy or girl."

"Girl."

"SHORT OR TALL?"

"Short."

"Beautiful or okay?"

"Very beautiful."

"What is she too you and what color is her blood."

"...well she's really close and...I imagine it's red."

"Well, we'll just have to find that out for ourselves~"

"yup~"

"You're friend can't play with anyone here. Harley and Skye I don't know what's up but don't try to make enemies that's Garth's job." The questions halted and after Harley was told he couldn't play with anyone that they would meet a small sad look appeared on his face as he puppet flashed onto his hand. The puppet had no eyes and it looked slightly decrepit. Harley put his puppet towards Veara face and he began to move his hand as if the puppet were talking. "Oh come on blondie I'm sure one or two people being able to play with little old me wouldn't hurt anybody, what do you say paaaal, amigooooo?" The puppet spoke to Veara and playfully snapped at him. Although when the only response received from Veara was a tilt of his head saying no, Harley hand puppet disappeared and he leaned against the glass pouting looking towards Skye simply patted his shoulder chuckling a little. Garth all the while simply pinched his temple looking over at them. "Thanks for reiterating the personal plot but what I meant was why are we here, ya know why are we just looking over this well...pretty dead looking town beneath us, and not finding your person." Garth asked while enjoying the warmth of the glass behind them which had the sun reflected off of it most of the time throughout the day. Veara looked over at Garth and the ukulele within his was surrounded in a space ball and it changed into a telescope. "Ya see that's the thing Garth, I currently feel her, not only her but alota of other people including the two that she's usually with, her coach and her big green. Yet despite that there's even a couple more including one who if I see them I have to leave since they asked me to stay away from them for the rest of their life. It's weird though, like I literally feel all of them and their near her, but as you can see. There's nothing, so I figured we'd just wait here and eventually one of them will show up or little adorable will.." Once again there was silence between them as Garth acknowledged his words and simply didn't even bother looking through the was the glass behind them already figuring it out. "Well I suppose we'll just sit here and watch the town." Garth spoke to Veara who simply smiled with his eyes closed. "My thoughts exactly."  Garth couldn't help but have a small sigh breeze through his teeth as the space sphere appeared once more around Veara's telescope and it changed back into his ukulele the boy decomposing it on a molecular level and piecing it back together as the instrument.  Smiling at his work all four of them leaned against the glass looking up towards the clouds as he strummed along the rest of them enjoying the day sky and the tunes.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Tsumiko Sun Sep 27, 2015 9:58 pm

Tsumiko beamed a smile at Marigold as she was thanked for the offer of assistance. She then turned silver-blue eyes to Lily, who sat across the way from her, and gave her a warm smile. She was looking forward to spending time with one of the twins. From what she could tell, it was the quieter of the two, which reminded her much of her lost twin… When the queen’s tone became serious, Tsumiko turned her attention back to the woman, blinking for a moment as she listened.

Apparently, there was a lot of problems concerning drug trafficking, and Marigold made it very clear that she was going to have none it it. For a moment, her eyes looked at the man wearing a mask. He and his subordinates did give her that shady vibe, but she couldn’t judge them when she knew nothing. Their past and what they’ve done was unknown to her, so she had no right to think negatively until they gave her a reason to.

Then came the announcement of promotions. Zulu was promoted to the head of a division working with Gwain and Lily, where the focus was to build up ‘provisions’. Whatever that meant. The second was for Celia, who was made the head of the researching side of things. She was young, but the advancement must have been a sign of her intelligence. With each announcement, the songstress clapped in congratulations alongside the others, a smile on her face. She was surrounded by very capable people, and for a short moment, she felt a little out of place. Sure, she was a very capable person, herself, but Tsumiko never really applied her talents to much. Perhaps one day, though, she could be promoted among the Darksons’ ranks.

And with that, the topic shifted again. Tsumiko was paying close attention now, as the topic was the supposed mastermind behind Twilight Town’s destruction. Her mind was in gear, and she was ready to receive a name in which she could begin actually being of help. But upon hearing the name of the person in question, Tsumiko’s heart sank. Her eager appearance mellowed, and she stared at the queen in disbelief, continuing to listen to her words. The description fit the image the songstress had in her mind of the ginger boy, but she still couldn’t believe it. Sure, he was a little rowdy and a bit of a punk, but… he would never-
“Maybe the next time you see me, I'll be under the guillotine. Rightfully so."
Daruis’ parting words rang in her head. Tsumiko had so easily dismissed it at that time as a bad joke, but maybe he was giving her vague hints about the sins he committed. But that boy wasn’t a cold-blooded killer. There had to have been a reason that he’d do such a thing. Tsumiko was convinced that this was all just a freak accident, one that the boy never meant to happen.

In her silence, she tried to collect herself and hide her inner confliction. Tsumiko’s eyes then turned L’Ombra as he spoke, and her heart skipped a beat. They already knew where he was hiding? That didn’t leave her much time to find him before they did, but he’d be more likely to show himself to her than them, so she had that going for her. Turning to the wine bottle, the songstress grabbed it and poured herself a glass. She didn’t have a fancy cup like they did, but what she had suited its purpose, not that she should have been drinking it in the first place. She was, after all, still underage. Taking a sip of the alcohol, her nose scrunched in distaste, but she continued drinking it anyways. Didn’t help that she was a lightweight, either... Perhaps it was just her imagination, but she could feel someone familiar, somewhere around them, but not in their presence. It made her… sad, for some reason...

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Marigold Darkson Fri Oct 16, 2015 10:46 pm

Marigold's watchful eye had remained upon everybody. This was mostly in part to the fact she wanted to root out any possible links between her subordinates and the boy known as, Darius Fetch. There was an amused smile on her face, as everyone nodded in response to understanding her orders. A gleam came into the eyes of the vampire, as she turned them over to the songstress, Tsumiko and gave her a rather charmed smile. After a glance to her sister, she turned her eyes upon Zulu, followed by L'Ombra. A nod was given to them, as they understood their duties. Her masked assassin, however, had more to add in terms of what was going on.

"I'll let you know if anything comes up, L'Ombra. For right now, we have several pieces of territory that are rather unique to us. Relations with other worlds has become number one since then." Mari stated. Then there was the matter of a specific contact that she had managed to forge a slight bond with. There should be talks between the two of them that could help yield more territory and/or resources for what they need. L added more to their conversation and he was granted yet another nod. "Excellent. Remember, when you find Del Ray, bring him here and I'll hold the trial... Have a little plan that'll get us a nice little servant." The woman smirked and finally, tasted some more of her wine. "The wine is good and you're correct, content isn't good enough. Age it some more next time." Marigold winked and simply chuckled.

While they drank, the woman was about ready to make yet another announcement, however, it was ended when Veara and his group appeared at the window. Now, the windows were normally good at cancelling out noise alongside with the walls, but the thing about annoyance with Marigold, was that it carried over even the thickest of walls. She turned in her throne-like chair, to see the group of five or so, on a tiny board, just loitering against the building. The Queen was easily able to identify Veara from the rest of them, due to the fact he was the blonde kid with the simple mind, who just so happened to be sweet on her assassin, Schwartz. Unfortunately, the blue-haired woman had a thing for him too, but Mari didn't let her thoughts of disapproval known. She enjoyed it when her charges found happiness among themselves.

"Everyone, ignore the peanut gallery outside. They're... Not with us per say, but..." She trailed off and rolled her eyes, before the orbs were turned back onto everyone else. Gwain had a smile on his face, but was otherwise curious as to who they were. Lily, while she wasn't necessarily trigger happy, had the notion to shoot them just because. Celia giggled and wondered how each and every single one of the worked on the in and outside. Himeiji's hand twitched upon the hilt of her blade and Ysl'Dae had no response, in fact, her gaze showed she hadn't even noticed that they were there at all.

Eventually, there was a tumble at the doors before they flew open. Schwartz had finally decided to join them all and seemed to have her hands full. She carried 3 bags in each hand, one in her mouth and another rested atop her head. The bags were all black, so it was nearly impossible to tell what was inside. Quickly, without giving much of a greeting to anyone else, the woman ran her way over to the queen and dropped all the bags. Immediately, she began to speak in a foreign language that no one else except the Darkson family and those native to their world would be able to understand.

Marigold rose an eyebrow and responded in what seemed like a less than pleased tone. The petite woman to the side of her remained composed, but one could tell her voice carried a sense of desperation. There was a deep sigh and eventually, the sound Mari used with her voice seemed like she relented. After which, Schwartz bowed and took her seat at the left side of the queen. She gave a small nod to everyone present.

"...Anyways, without anymore interruptions, I'd like to announce a few more things. This world, Twilight Town, will be under the command of Three. He will be the acting Govenor while I am away, but all decisions will be finalized and acted out on my word. L'Ombra. You and your crew will take orders from here, but this is only if and when something big has or will occur. Your group can remain independent and do your own thing, but whatever it is you do, I want you to clear it with him or me. Same goes to everyone else, am I clear?" Mari asked and everyone seemed to comply. "And lastly, our permanent base will be at the coordinates I have linked to all of your communicators. I have cleared everyone who works directly under me, so there should be no problem with any of you moving in and setting up. Please handle your business accordingly and quickly." She explained and eventually placed down her empty wine glass. "That will be all for today. You all may take your leave, talk among each other or spend the day as you see fit. Should any of you have any lingering questions, please come and see me." Thus, the meeting came to a close, but before she committed to it, her eyes turned over to Zulu. "I have something I wish to discuss with you." Her voice was quite serious when she said so.

Gwain, the king, stood from his chair and looked over to his love Tsumi, who he smiled at. The twins got up from their chairs and excitedly ran out (well, Celia was excited at least). Ysl'Dae, Schwartz, Three and Himeiji remained in the room, but got up to do some simple stretches. Schwartz then bid farewell to everyone, before leaving in a hurry to go speak with Veara and his group.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Such a small world after all. Zulu spotted the kid by the window and instantly recognized him as the boy who helped him find a new gun strap. It wasn't necessary at the time since his nanomachines would have easily replaced it, but his tiny ruse gave him a little tour of Radiant Garden. Now, what was that boy's name agaiin? Sounded a little feminine... Ahh, right, Veara. Who would have thought he'd be wrapped up in this. A look towards the queen revealed a well hidden discontent towards the blond.

Nearing the end of the meeting, Zulu prepared to leave, downing the wine he poured himself and reabsorbing the nanomachine he used to make the cup shortly thereafter. While waiting for the meeting to end, he went over what Marigold had just said. She allowed them all to do as they pleased for the time being, which was a good deal considering not a lot is happening on the 'business' end of the Darkson company. So far, Lombra had the monopoly on that. Plus, it would let him meet up with his suspicious contact and expand his connections.

However, that would have to wait. Marigold said she had something to discuss with him, presumably concerning his new job in R&D. While they were at it, he'd ask about whether or not Marigold had mentioned him by name anywhere. How his contact knew that piece of information was something to be wary about. "Understood," he said in compliance. The sooner they get this over with, the better.

The cyborg followed the queen out.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

"Why does it feel like we've been sitting here for weeks."

"Shut up Harley."

"Hey.....has....anyone else noticed the people on the other side of the glass."

"The weird looking ones? I've noticed them from time to time but haven't really said anything."

"Well...they keep looking at us as if they were trying to read us."

"Well let's just look back at the freaks."

"Eh sure, sitting here got old after awhile."

With that said while Veara was busy strumming away on the ukulele, the other three decided too plant their faces against the glass making stupid faces though when they did they were treated to people....well getting up and leaving. Some of them walked out while it looked like one of the smaller ones was running out. Garth sighed as he removed his face from the pane of the glass and tapped on Veara's shoulder. A quick 'hm?' from Veara let him know that the blonde was finally paying attention and he stopped strumming his ukulele for a second. "I'm not sure about this Veara, but I'm ninety percent sure that your friend was one of the people in that room with the convention of battle armor. So it's safe to say your friend, isn't coming." While Garth spoke he sounded bland and cracked his neck and his fingers while he spoke to the tallest of the group. With Harley and Skye finally removing their faces from the pane they looked towards the conversation they were listening in upon. "Are you just saying that cause you're bored and want to go do something else since nothing's happening here even though we've only been here for less then three minutes even though it feels like two weeks?" None of them responded except for having a blank face, they simply nodded to him. "Okay I guess, we'll go. Maybe she just accidentally activated that thing she gave me and what not." Veara said with slightest hint of dismay in his voice. Skye initially seeing this as another chance while the board began to turn and slowly began to move away from the window and rise slightly so they could still be seen from within the room. "Awwww don't worry vea-sama. I'm sure you'll get another chance to talk to this person.....AND IF NOT there are always other short and very beautiful people..." Skye spoke while giggling a little at the end trying to use charm....just to have Harley lean on Veara as the board turned so that it was facing forward all of them still facing one side. "Honestly are you trying to get us together Skye sending such suggestions." Harley giggled and stopped leaning on Veara while looking towards Skye whose was sending a dirty look towards him."Sometimes I don't like you." Harley simply smiled at this and began to move towards skye. "I know but the difference is THAT I, love me all the time." Harley spoke while Garth simply teetered on the edge and Veara held onto the back of his shirt.

"Please...the fall will kill me and I'm pretty sure my head will explode on impact if i position the fall right."

"That's what you said last time.

"Last time the floor I hit was a bitch."

"You can try when we're at the ocean."

"Damn it."

Was the last words they spoke while the keyboard began to gather up energy so they could hop back to the islands. The usual three remaining quiet while Veara simply played on his ukulele, maybe it wasn't the best idea to bring them along...nah it totally was no way in heck he was wrong there.

From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite) Empty Re: From Ashes... (Darkson's & Allies, PM for invite)

Post by Tsumiko Sat Nov 07, 2015 10:45 pm

Tsumiko, midway into taking yet another sip of wine, caught the gaze of the Queen, and that sweet smile of hers. For one reason or another, she diverted her eyes and continued to indulge in her glass. It was a mistake, that, and she knew she was going to regret it later. But Marigold seemed to have a way with sensing things with nothing more than a glance. If she hadn’t sensed it already, the songstress wanted to keep her connections to Darius on the downlow for as long as she could.

Downing the rest of her glass, she gave the ‘peanut-gallery’ a side glance. For a moment, Tsumiko wondered what they were doing here, but figured that the blonde might have ties with Marigold as well, and sought an audience with her once the meeting was over. Regardless, she figured that it was about time she apologized to him. Her reaction to his actions was over the top and unnecessarily dramatic. Not long after that, the final, and very late, member to their meeting had finally arrived. Tsumiko hadn’t been introduced to her yet, so the blue-haired woman’s name escaped her. But she seemed to be the perfect distraction from the songstress’ musings.

The woman had her arms full of snacks, and ran right up to Marigold. Dropping those snacks, she started saying something that Tsumiko didn’t understand. A little disappointed in her lack of understanding, she poured herself another glass. The liquid was bitter, and tasted awful compared to her usual drink of juice, but it was something to keep her hands and mind occupied.

Eventually, Schwartz took a seat, and the meeting commenced. From there, she announced that Three was going to be taking over in as the acting Governor in Twilight Town. Casting silver-blue eyes towards the man, Tsumiko was asking herself why. Perhaps she had judged his character too quickly, and there was more to the lady’s man that she pegged him for.

Soon enough, the meeting was over, and everyone got to their feet. After having about four glasses of wine, the songstress wasn’t feeling too hot, but thought that maybe she could shake it off. Lacing her fingers and stretching upwards, she let them drop to her side. Turning her eyes to the king, she happily returned his smile, and stepped over to him. Giving him a warm hug, she nuzzled into his chest and gave a content sigh. Definitely had one glass too many… Opening her eyes, she peered out the window to see that the group on the board had moved. Fearing that she may have missed her chance, she stiffened up and started for the door before stopping in her tracks. Turning back around, she went right back up to Gwain and kissed his cheek. “Don’t go too far. Kay? I’ll be right back!” She said to him with a quick, nervous smile and followed in both the twins’ and Schwartz’ steps and exited the room.

She wasn’t aware that she was actually following the assassin, but hazy thoughts weren’t much to work with. Quickly, she made her way outside, and looked up to the sky. “Veara, wait! I'm sorry! Don't go yet!” She shouted out to him, thinking that he was surely about to take off. She made sure her voice traveled far enough to reach him from where she stood on the ground. "I was... hoping that we could talk for a bit. If it's not too much of a bother..."
