Kyoshi's Skill Tree

Base Ability: Chrono Ignition- Kyoshi has flames able to burn time physically, meta-physically, and spiritually. This releases an aura in which any damage received will leave the damage constantly burning in time, constantly dealing the same amount of damage every post.
Base Ability Cool Down: Passive/Aura


Tier One
1st Skill: Gaze- Kyoshi uses her flame to burn time around her in a ten meter radius. The flames cause no harm to those who come within but allows Kyoshi to see either what has transpired up to a day before or a day after within that radius.
2nd Skill: Reset- Kyoshi speeds her own time up by one post, reducing all current cooldowns by 1 post. It is the only action she can take during the post she uses reset.
3rd Skill: Rewind- Kyoshi reverses her own time to one post before the opponent's last post.
4th Skill: Slow Start- Kyoshi cannot move during her first post of a battle but the opponent and their abilities are slowed within a ten meter radius of her aura.
5th Skill: Phoenix Down- Kyoshi is a phoenix. Occasionally she produces a feather at the end of a topic. When Kyoshi is killed, she instead is reborn at the topic in which she dropped a feather. She can only drop 1 feather at any given time. When she is reborn, she cannot another feather for three topics.


Tier Two
1st Skill: See- Kyoshi becomes able to see through time up to one day before or after her current time within a 100 meter radius of herself.
2nd Skill: Skip- Kyoshi burns through her own time to skip 2 post of cooldowns.
3rd Skill: Burning Start- Kyoshi cannot move during her first post of a battle and the opponent is slowed within ten meter radius of her aura.. If she is attacked, the opponent takes the amount of damage they deal to Kyoshi on top of moderate damage from a fiery burst that expands from her at the point of impact.
4th Skill: Reversal- Kyoshi rewinds her own time to two post before the previous post.


Tier Three
1st Skill: Vision- Kyoshi is able to freely look through time within a 100 meter radius.
2nd Skill: Phoenix Glow Restart- During slow start, should Kyoshi be dealt a blow that would potentially kill or render her unconscious, she is instead reset to before the opponent's attacking post. The opponent's cooldown does not reset.
3rd Skill: Supernova Start- Kyoshi cannot move during her first post of a battle and the opponent is slowed within ten meter radius of her aura.. If she is attacked, the opponent takes the amount of damage they deal to Kyoshi on top of colossal damage from a fiery burst that expands from her at the point of impact.


Tier Fourth
1st Skill: Chrono Trigger- Kyoshi is freely able to see through time.
2nd Skill: Phoenix Pinion Rebirth- Kyoshi can drop up to two phoenix downs at any location.


Tier Five
1st Skill: Omega RE:Coded- Kyoshi resets all of her cooldowns reverses her own time to her first post of the topic.

The base ability says any damage received is received each post- does that include on yourself? The damage being dealt consecutively should have a definite duration. What is the effective range of this aura?



For Gaze: understand that while you can see into the future, the future is not set. This ability doesn't allow you to easily predict an opponents movements. I would further mandate that using this ability requires great concentration, which would prevent you from fully utilizing your magic and make it fairly inefficient in combat.

For Reset: you can take other actions during that post. The drawback is not necessary. This ability should have a cool down of three-four posts. I'll let you choose whichever you prefer.

For Rewind: set the cool down to five posts. Please note that using this ability will not allow your cool downs to reduce that turn, since you are effectively rewinding yourself back. Also note that for combat purposes, one post is equivalent to six seconds.

For Slow-Start: the draw back is unnecessary. However, since it is being facilitated through an aura I'm going to need to know by what degree an opponent is slowed. Since it is going to be facilitated through an aura and is implied to be always active, the amount of time slowed will not be anything spectacularly impressive.

For Phoenix Down: this will need to be shifted to tier three to be considered viable as per our skill tree meta. Once moved, it will be further reviewed.



For See: this will need to be a once per topic ability because of its scope. This ability, like the first, will require significant concentration to use.

For Burning Start: this will not be able to facilitate dealing equivalent damage. Moreover, the drawback is not necessary. Please define the degree of the slow effect. Keep in mind that while it will be better than the effect gained at T1, it will still be limited due to being always on and its use being facilitated through an aura.

For Reversal: the cool down here will need to be ten posts.



For Vision: this will need to be a once per topic ability because of the scope. This ability, like the first and second, will require significant concentration to use.

I'm going to assume that logically people can pick up and take Phoenix Downs for their own and with high Synthesis, would be able to manufacture them to work for themselves and others and not just you. What happens if that occurs?



Define what you want this last ability to do. It sounds like a panic button meant to erase everyone's work, but I could be misconstruing it.

Something I'm noticing in this tree is the extreme redundancy. It only has five abilities, and rather than expanding on them or dismissing the weaker versions for the stronger, higher-tier abilities you keep repeating through the tree. This seems to be a rare case of crippling over specialization- a one trick pony. I would advise attempting more diversity through the tree and expanding your capabilities somewhat, but you are free to disregard this advice.
