Re: Temple Run

Post by Edis Rehtona on Fri Oct 21, 2016 3:27 am

Edis wasn't sure if his eyes could widen much more as his partner spoke more about the Keyblade, and the fact that he himself had actually been in possession of one. That was a rarity, and instantly diffused any and all suspicion Edis had on Stiri. A Keyblader was someone who held a weapon capable of truly killing the Heartless, there was no way he could be the ally of them if he had once wielded such a weapon. His partner had come over to Edis with his hand glowing slightly, before a soft lift covered some of Edis' wounds, and instantly he began to feel better, having been given a bit of regeneration from the blond man's magic, which was kindly accepted with a smile. And while the awe was still in his voice, Edis had managed to calm down enough to speak without stuttering, despite how grand a discovery he had made in Stiri. He lit another cigarette and took a large inhale to absorb the chemicals and calm his body and his mind, as well as provide himself with some smoke in the area, it always made him feel more comfortable.

"So you used to wield the legendary weapon? That is an impressive thing to do, very few are capable of accessing this power. I was wondering if you could, perhaps once all this is over, take me through how you managed to unlock the power. Where you were, what you had to do and things like that. Also, if it isn't too hard for you to do, could I ask how you lost the power?"

Edis spoke as the two continued to walk towards a strange structure, what looked like a temple, while he awaited his partner's response. Some might say it was a bit of a large assumption to make, that someone had lost a power that had never been lost once gained, but that would be the only way to describe why Stiri had yet to use it, despite the many Heartless they had fought thus far since meeting. If he had the power, there was no reason why he wouldn't have used it already. It was strange, this entire day had been, and now they were approaching some kind of strange building that housed who knew how many secrets.

The two stood before the vast sight of the building lost from history's sand lit only by the rays of the sun peeking out from a few thin openings along the top of the cavern. It was a majestic sight to behold even a piece of art Lenny paused and admired before moving on. It was of old English styled tiled with a design not known to most of humanity yet stunningly beautifully, Len was at a lost for words how to best describe this place. At the same time he could feel old magics stirring from inside place yet it was hidden from even his sense at this distance. He'd bow a little at the hesitation to Ed's question while pressing up half dazed up in thought.

“ It was a...out of body experience, thats the best explanation on how it happened for me honest. It was something very hard to describe in words. Its also difficult as I've heard each trail is different for each person. As for how I lost it...”

Lennneth paused once more while thinking on the subject, he felt a little pain ring out from his heart while that stung but ached in a different way, harming even his value of self love. When he lost the ability to summon his key it almost was like a part of his being was rejecting him for whatever reason it was to. He was very uncertain as to why or how but something inside him felt incorrect.

“I'm not quite sure how I lost it to be honest. It was like forgetting something important urking you for endless nights and days always on your mind. But I must have done something unworthy to lose the ability to use it like that its the only explanation”

Re: Temple Run

The Keyblade Graveyard was to many, Edis included, considered a wateland of death and nothingness, where even the Heartless rarely visit and the Nobodies avoid completely due to the lack of hearts and people. And yet, standing as the two men were before a great wonder of a building, Edis was starting to realise that this was not the case. All around them, he was starting to notice that there were minute details which hinted, as previously considered by Edis, at the prospect of a civilization that had existed previous to the world becoming the 'graveyard' that it was now known as. Before that, there must have been somethuing, otherwise these buildings simply wouldn't exist at all.

Stiri's answer didn't help Edis much, but he had come to expect that. Every text, everything the black haired man found that detailed the Keyblade was always vague in explaining how to come by the legendary power. Now it made sense to Edis why: it was a vague experience. The only way to attain the power was to try in whatever way suited you specifically, as for every wielder their 'trial' was different. Edis was going to have to find a way that worked for him, and it wouldn't work by following blindly in the footsteps of another, that was not the power of the Keyblade. Sighing at the answer nonetheless, Edis was content with his answer, but then came the much more interesting part.

Again, as expected, Stiri did not know how he had lost his powers. Sure, he had a few theories, but they were only formed on what he thought could be the case, he truly had no idea though. Edis could only offer condolences at his partner's loss, as the two continued deeper into the seemingly bigger city, hidden within the caves of the Keyblade Graveyard. Who knew what they were going to find here.

Thankfully Edis didn't ask much further into the story of his lost, it would taken quite a few carefully string of the words to skirt around the full truth of the matter. A story of his regained humanity, the destiny of the heartless etc etc there were just a couple of plot holes that would take a little difficult to dancing around it. He would enter in with the human whom was showing a brighter side to the humanity to the heartless.

The gate before them stood as a ancient testament from age far past theirs and yet it remained as polished and whole as the day it was made. No cracks, discoloration or lack of polish, usually worn out from the passage of time, in fact a closer look the building showed this same feature. Clearly older then the rest of this cave yet still in a state of near perfection and beauty from its birth. It was a stunning piece of architecture that towered high, leaving Lenny stunned for a moment, gathering his thoughts for a while examining his pockets. Bring out a translucent crystal shimmering in a dim light, pointing it towards the building before bright light flashed for a second. Satisfied he'd cross through the entrance and into this deep cave dungeon.

Once inside Lenneth wouldn't mind taking point to admired this place further while moving forward looking for traps. Within the light from the open skies were barely piece down this place, barely any sun could reach this far down. And yet inside torch across the wall quickly came to life the moment he set foot in, dimly shining a low orange hue through the vast network of hallways and empty spaces.

It was impressive the old magics still worked with out old this place was, Lenny proceeded slowly pace the entrance. Something else caught his attention just out the corner of his eye. A dim glow of light blue across the way just out of reach of his vision. It escaped sense before he could focuses on it. Maybe just trick of the eyes Lenneth pay it little and kept it to himself. Waving at Edis to come in before moving on.

“If you find the power or whatever your looking for what do you think you'll find from it?”
