Holly san Hallow, the Delightful Nihilist
Name: Holly san Hallow
Age: 18
Species: Somebody
Primary Elements
1.) Darkness
2.) Fire
3.) Lightning
4.) Ice
Personality: Holly is an extremely depressive, nihilistic, and generally overall terrible person. When she was smaller, there was a smile and more positive light to herself, but it had been since snuffed out. Sickly and probably even suicidal, the young woman actively seeks a way to have her life end.
After meeting the Heartless witch, Ophelia, Holly believes that darkness is the true essence of the heart and that death is something which should be gazed upon as something beautiful and honorable. Thus she doesn't feel any form of remorse when she takes the life of another and in fact, draws sheer joy off of the act.
Appearance: Holly appears as a deathly pale young woman, with gaunt facial features, a malnourished body, and near hollowed out eyes, pale-gray eyes. Her lips are a near purple in color and her long hair has turned an ashen gray. She is dressed in a pure-white grown, with a thin veil draped over her face.
History: She was born strong, positive, and cheerful, but only darkness was her fate. At the innocent age of two years old, though, a wicked witch from the East came on over and devoured everything she knew and loved. Mentally scarred by what had happened, the young woman attempted to run, only to be stopped by aforementioned witch. A white mask akin to a bunny of sorts, with vacant holes for the eyes and mouth. She dressed in all white and had marvelous black hair. The sight, despite how gorgeous it was to the two year-old, had to have been the most horrendous thing she saw in her life. Honestly, the young girl relieved herself then and there. Frozen in fear and bathing in her own soiled clothing.
Ophelia was the witch's name and while she'd love nothing more than to devour Holly's source of life, that bountiful and delicious heart of light was something she knew would turn into something great, if exposed heavily to darkness. A sinister thought took the Heartless' Witch mind and she decided with “adopting” Holly. The rest of her sixteen years were spent in what was heinous grooming, for an even more gruesome transformation.
It started slowly at first. The darkness from the End of the World had seeped into her heart, slowly but surely and little by little, the young girl had grown very, very bitter. Her usual cheeriness was met with ideals that quickly defeated and overtook her own. Ophelia had lived both lives. One of the living and the other of the Heartless. She knew how to “mentor,” warp and break the mind of the human girl. Her methods were very cruel and introduced both psychologically and physically. Influence from both the world and the witch efficiently turned Holly in time.
Her powers grew exponentially and the magic she utilized was grand and powerful, yet… It took a tremendous toll upon her body. The little bit of light left within her heart had tried to reject the growing evil that attempted to snuff out her good completely. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on the speaker), it was devoured by darkness and her entire lifestyle changed. The evil was like a plague which racked at her body. Though she grew in power, her body weakened in health. Essentially, her body began to deteriorate rapidly and in a pain only describable as a perpetual, vicious, near-death state of being. Something she eventually grew used to.
Master and student would eventually leave from The End of the World, come a certain time and they traveled among the other worlds. Was it them who aided in the growing trend of Heartless sprouting? Possibly, it was very, very likely, but no one would be able to say for sure. However, one thing that could confirmed by Holly, is that she knows what exactly caused the sudden and erratic behavior in the Heartless.
And years later after all of this, thanks to the deal struck between Ophelia Echo and Eno Vale, Holly had been willingly consumed by Darkness. She gave up her heart, relinquished it completely and had become a Seeker. Her powerful new form gave birth to newly christened health, to which she is able to now move freely without any assistance. Truly, this event was a dark day indeed... The Rebirth
