Species: Somebody, Ifrit

Personality: After a terrible accident and centuries of wandering aimlessly, Alina’s mind has broken down and degenerated to a near-primitive state. She thinks and speaks in fragments, often repeating the same word or phrase several times in a row. However, she doesn’t normally talk unless reminded of something from her past life, in which case she becomes very emotive--as if the fire in her heart has suddenly become lit with the sparks of memories. The reaction is usually one of anger, and results in something being set on fire (sometimes a building, sometimes a tree, and sometimes a person). Even with such a fragmented psyche, the beloved from the Djinn’s past life remains the sole clarity in her broken mind. However, this had led the thought of him to entirely consume her being to such an extent that he has become an obsession. She would serve him unconditionally, and would have any wish of his granted no matter the costs--to herself or to others. Because of this, nothing and no else in the world matters to her.

Appearance:

As a demon, Alina has Illusion-based abilities that allow her to alter how she is perceived. Her favorite appearances (other than her natural one) are of when she was human and of a shadow.

History: Long ago, Alina was a young human girl. After disaster struck not one, but two of the places she called home, she realized how powerless she really was. In addition to that, her beloved seemed to have no need for her, moving up in the world and finding another (although entirely platonic) partner. As such, she decided to abandon her universe (and consequently, her beloved) and departed for a new one. She brought along with her two remnants of her past life: her blade and her familiar, a diminutive fire spirit. Unfortunately, the trip through time and space damaged the two, merging them together and leaving their minds quite broken. The ordeal caused this amalgamation to be reborn as an Ifrit, with only one sentiment remaining whole in her: the thoughts of her beloved. Immensely regretful of her decision, she wandered the worlds for years and years searching for this universe’s version of her partner. She soon realized that he didn’t exist in this dimension, causing her mind to break down further as time passed. She now rambles aimlessly around the old haunts of her past life, finding that she no longer has any purpose in life. Ironically, while as a Djinn she has the powers to grant others wishes, she could never grant her own: to go back in time, and never leave her love’s side.

Other Notes: [Her first encounter with Lucio will be roleplayed out. Her elements will remain three for now.]
