Didn't You Just See Me? (Mifune, Open)

Kia closed the door to her Gummi Ship with a happy sigh, the beautiful young woman right next to her placed a hand on her little sister's shoulder. "See, I told you that I can follow you on some of your adventures! I'm not always that busy Kiki." Abigail said as she ruffled Kia's hair and walked forward. Kia grinned when she saw Abigail widening her eyes at everything in sight, Abigail has never been able to freely explore like the young guard since she worked as a waitress at a bar that was busy all the time. Kia took out her purple Vespa motorcycle as Abigail touched a golden statue, she giggled at her older sister glad she brought her out of Castle of Dreams.

As the two sisters walked around the world, Abigail found a clothing store that held flowy white dresses and sandles. Proper attire for the women in this world. Abigail excused herself and walked in, a few of the employees looked at Abigail and called her 'Aphrodite' welcoming her in the store with open eyes. Even if I try to enjoy myself, beautiful Abigail has to ruin it! Kia thought as she stepped on her purple Vespa, quickly turning on the engine and riding away from the store.

Sometimes, she wished she was just as pretty as her sister, sure that Tyler guy who claimed she was his wife would disagree. Kia wiped away her tears as she rode the Vespa, all of a sudden she saw a shadowy figure and grasped the brakes, she finally stopped riding and fell off the motorbike collapsing on the ground. SHe didn't want to let the person see her falling tears, she tried to get up but ended up falling down again. "Hey, didn't you see me riding here!?!?" The Half-Djinn yelled, looking up at the person.

Mifune had been casually walking, this was his home-world after all. Everyone knew him, so why would he need to worry about anyone wanting hit him with a chariot?

Mifune was very busy today, and  decided that he needed to cosult a friend, a large clothing shop had sat on his left, it would seem that the store had a crossing,  it was right on a corner. But even as such, the teen didn't really expect someone on a automobile to speed into him.

So... Coming out from behind the buildings side, the afternoon shade must shade from the buildings side must have taken Kia off guard. Though it wasn't his fault for almost getting hit. This world lacked roads and sidewalks, instead it had dirt paths. The half-djinn was unmistakably the only suspect to blame for their near fatal collision.

"How could I? There's a building blocking my view... And don't yell at me, I don't know you like that!" His facial expression curled into that 'bitch I know you ain't talking to me' expression. It was obvious that he was a little upset that she almost ran him over, but instead of arguing further he bent down and picked her motorcycle up, a moment later Mifune held a hand out to her; to help her up of course. Whether she took it or not, he wouldn't give much care.

Kia's groan turned into a gasp. It was a teenage boy who looked about her age or older, the boy-crazy teenage girl quickly took his hand without hesitation and stood herself up. He was much taller than her, and he was extremely cute, She giggled and wiped her dried tears away from her face running a hand through her blonde hair as she leaned on her Vespa, "Oh," She would say as she placed a hand on her hip. " No, I-I'm sorry for running into you sir.." 

The teenage girl sighed and looked down at her Vespa with a small blush, "I've had a pretty bad day, can you excuse my rudeness?" She looked back up to the boy, looked down and then looked up at him again, regarding him with her blue eyes she stuck out her hand. "Kia Mason, and you are?"

The girl appeared to quickly lose her spunk and instead traded it in for some other personality type, which made Mifune raise a eyebrow but he soon grinned. If she was cool, he was cool. No reason to be a jerk just cause of some accident right? "Kia, that's a cool name. I'm Mifune. You weren't that rude. I'm just quick to take defense is all, when you live in a world like this you quickly grow an attitude against those who would talk down upon you. It's just something we do. And wow, obviously your from a different world I see. Motor-bikes don't really exist here. I'm surprised the locals haven't called you a god yet or something. People around here don't typically visit the stars and worlds because they think it intrudes upon Zeus's domain." He tucked his hands into his jacket pocket. His clothes didn't match the world because he had already been exploring some of them in search for Haimon, who had went missing a couple months back.

"But don't let me bore you with that... how about we go to the the coliseum? I'm on my way there right now." Mifune's face made a hesitant but cheery smile. Honestly, he really didn't talk to many people that much anymore. He was kinda a lone wolf in that point of view. he offered her his hand again, this time without hesitate toon.

Kia smiled and nodded as he introduced himself and talked about how the locals never visited other worlds, she laughed. The boy had a really good sense of humor and just seemed like an overall good-natured person, "One second!" She said, holding up a finger as she picked up her Vespa and placed it against the wall. She dusted off her purple hoodie and ran over to Mifune and took his hand.

When she held his hand, she felt like she was cheating on pretty boy Tyler... Well, her and Tyler weren't even dating. So, she guessed it was okay, to be honest she didn't know how to behave like a normal teenage girl or to look like one. She had expensive bracelets on each arm that were different colors and didn't even match each other! She blew her bangs and grinned at Mifune, "Well lead the way, Mifune!" She squeezed his hand lightly, waiting for him to escort her to the Coliseum.

Maybe the off clothing would've bothered someone else,  but not Mifune Domen.  He didn't judge, plus maybe the odd colors and expensive and cheap put togethers was the way people dressed at her place. He couldn't discriminate,  especially since she was a pretty cool chick. His flamboyant rambling hadn't ran her off yet had it? Nope, nada. "So where are you from Miss Kia Mason? Have you been here before?"

He offered her a polite tone, and didn't appear to be drgging her along, instead he walked at a slower rate as so to let her talk and get acquainted. Before she answered he spoke up again. "Not trying to be nosy or anything, I'm just curious is all. Its not everyday I meet new faces and have legit conversations with them for more than a couple minutes." He then blinked twice. "Oii, when did I become such a loser... Eyy, anyways back to the question.  Without much of a second thought he shrugged and looked around, they weren't far from the Coliseum now.

When he asked where she was from, she almost stopped in her tracks. She didn't want to lie to the guy, but she didn't want to say 'Well, I'm from a religious cult in Enchanted Dominion!' So she bit her lower lip and replied, "I'm from the Castle of Dreams, ever been there? It's just a small village with a huge castle, that was filled with nobles until a murderer killed them all. There was one survivor, I don't know the killer but he wield a keyblade when I encountered him and wore a mask.."She was lying about being from Castle of Dreams but most of what she said was true, maybe this murderer was attacking others in other worlds so it was better to tell Mifune.

"No, you don't sound nosy. If you knew me well enough, I ask alot of questions! Where are you from Mifune? Why are you taking me to the coliseum? Is there something going on there? Oh, you're no loser, not yet anyway hehe." Kia was happy to have met someone who was just as curious as her, it was weird that they were still holding hands but she didn't really mind it.

she was great! Mifune grinned while listening. It was odd, but he coudn't say she was lying about it. There might really be a murderer on her world for all he knew. "Oh. I'll defeat him for you. No biggie. ~ The boy obviously had a bit of an ignorant point of view, thinking he could defeat everything. But honestly even if he failed, he wouldn't be weak forever. Kia was rambling. Hmm, those weren't tough questions. "I'm from here. Umm, yeah I have a match today, but the guy is kinda known for being a no-show. That's why I'm in no hurry.

Kia laughed, my he was sure a risk-taker... Just like her. "Ah, you look much different from the other citizens here, no offense. No-show? Hey, they guy is probably scared of ya!" She said, nudging his shoulder with a small laugh. THen she thought of something, if the guy was a no-show then maybe.. "Hey is there room for one more opponent if the guy doesn't show up? I would actually like to challenge you... No! Just like a friendly match, I'm not all that strong but it can be fun? "

"Of course he is, I'm the greatest after all. Hmm,  you wanna battle me? I don't wanna hurt you or anything.  Are you sure?" The boy smiled as they entered the gate, almost to the lobby. This would be fun, but he was worried for the djinn, was this girl strong enough to compete? Probably had some special techniques hidden away, his guard would need to be held up. "Oh my attire? Well I got them in Traverse Town, I liked them better than the clothes here."

Kia smirked at Mifune's cockiness, maybe he was the best at combat but she was just going to have to find out. The girl finally reached the coliuesem and signed up for the matches, sure there was confusion among the officials since Kia was small and chubby but they signed her up anyway. "This will be fun!" Kia told Mifune as she sat on the stands waiting for the tournament to start.

After signing all the registrations, Mifune calmly walked up into the stands. He nodded to Kia. 'Yeah, there is just this exhibition match and then we can duel.' Mifune kicked his feet, as two large competitors entered the ring and began battling. It was nothing special, just local fighters from around the area. They normally did fights with lions and stuff so it was kind of surprising for them to be here. The teenager then popped his knuckles in anticipation. He then turned to the blonde mage who sat next to him.

"So, have you had experience in battle before?" The boy's cheeks reddened. He then gave a toothy smile. "I would really be upset if you got hurt. It gets kinda rough in there y'know?" He normally wasn't one to hold back or give warning, but she didn't look like much. Judging by its cover was wrong, but he really had doubt in her abilities at the moment. "It wouldn't be right if you got hurt or anything like that.~" He offered her something from his pocket, it was a couple munny. He then smiled; and pointed with his free hand. "Winner gets this, how about it then?'

Kia grinned Mifune said that he would be upset if she was hurt. Well that's odd, but you just met me dude... She thought with a small chuckle as she crossed her legs and watched as the workers started cleaning up the arena. The teenage girl was excited to already start that she didn't pay attention to Mifune's rambling, she wanted to show everyone that she had potential and that she was capable of almost anything! The Half-Djinn did have super human strength which made her carry an unconscious prince and comfort him in the Massacre, but she really didn't know what else she was capable of.

When Mifune told her what the prize was, she grinned. ""Wow, munny! I can't wait to win this!" To be honest, she really wasn't poor or middle class. She was wealthy but her new opponent wouldn't know this because of her common-like appearance: Long blonde braid, purple hoodie, baggy jeans, and ghetto/bright bracelets that were strapped from her wrist to her arms that made a noise everytime it clashed together. She already had a munny safe in her home with at least five-hundred point five millions of gold, silvers, and bronze.

He deserves this prize more than I do... Kia thought as the announcer called out both of their names, She gave Mifune a wink and ran over to one side of the arena. Sure Mifune probably needed the money, but that didn't mean she was going to back down or go easy on him. The blonde took off her jacket and threw it in the corner revealing a lilac camisole, she quickly placed her hand on Blizzard Blue her baby blue bracelet and turned it clockwise with her small fingers. A bright light formed in her right hand and a long Bastard sword appeard called Blizzard Blue 1.0. The girl twisted her Bubble Gum Bracelet and a Seraph Blade appeared in her left hand, dual-wielding was her strongest backed up with a couple of spells. Kia waited for Mifune to summon his gear and attack her, She was ready.

(Blizzard Blue(Blizzard Blue 1.0) and Bubble Gum(Seraph Blade) activated.)

Maybe it was weird of him to say such embarrassing things after only knowing about half an hour... but... She was a girl, to say Mifune was hesitant would be an understatement... However... He refused anything less than his best today.

Grinning, he took a deep breath and let the warm breeze glisten across his face, the teen's eyes would narrow. She didn't answer to much besides his munny, well she'd have to earn that first. As he stood up from his seat, Rigormortis seemed to get lighter, as if it were metamorically ready to battle... The brown-haired male made his way to the arena a moment after; he seemed to close his eyes as things slowed down visually for him.

Entering the zone~, entering the zone~

Opening his eyes the male took a defensive stance watched his opponent, inspecting her deeply. He flinched as her bastard sword was summoned with multiple magical occurances seeming to spontaneously generate. Oh... That was something new. But no matter, it would not kill the boy's ego. "Is that it? I'm the greatest ever. You'll need more than... that." The boy was obviously nervous,  but he had to much pride to admit it had surprised him. Instead he unsheathed his sword and waited for the berserker girl to come at him. Mifune squinted as if he was reading her to the best of his abilities.

"If I can't beat a girl so intimidating... Then I'll never get to bring Haimon home... I can't lose, not now, ad not ever. I will defeat the expectations. Just as you have done already Kia..." Mifune was mumbling,  hearing his words from her distance would be impossible.  Thus was why he spoke them, with such coy.~

Kia squinted her eyes when he unsheathed his sword, Really? He wasn't going to attack her?? Maybe he's afraid of me.. The blonde thought with a small smirk, Sure her weapons looked intimidating now that they were out of their jewelry form. The small girl shook the bangs out her eyes when the bell rung and the announcer's voice was heard throughout the entire arena.

"And here we are with Mifune, a brave teenage boy wielding a longsword! And here we have newcomer Kia who looks very out of place here but we welcome everyone!"

Kia groaned, his voice was high-pitched and annoying and maybe he was a bit sexist about his statement was a bit sexist. She shrugged her shoulders as the countdown begun.

Kia ran at Mifune and once she was right in front of him, she lifted her leg and aimed at his chest, this was easy to start seeing that Kia was really slow. Following with the kick, she spun around and swung Blizzard Blue 1.0 at his face..

Mifune's eyes glanced at the announcer, he was being a bit of jerk today, of course it was nothing new; that guy had always been a prick to Mifune when he fought adults... But that wasn't relevant at the moment, least those were the boys opinions on the matter. Mifune had other things to worry about at a time like this, so instead he turned his attention back to Kia Mason...

Nervousness began to take effect, beads of sweat dripped down his pinkish cheeks, while the girl took a steadfast charge, it was a hot day, but not only that; The kid was in severe focus... The adventurer was still halfway shocked she could even hold such enormously heavy looking weapons for her size, it actually made him question his man-ego. However, what she didn't know about was Mifune's secret weapon. He was somewhat the master of tactical engagements at a close proximity, having been a local fan of it since birth. On Olympus, fighters were especially keen on picking up the ways of melee. Since the world was centered around explicit gladiator battling and bloody violence; it's only logic that the people would bask in such practices. If they hadn't then the only other form of entertainment would've been primal childmaking.

Anyways, back to the task at hand. The girl's speed was average... Hmm, so maybe this was his advantage. He grasped Rigormortis in hand and when the girl came to kick him he took note that she was relatively slower than he had actually noticed. But with his immensely adamant knowledge of movements he saw her body already going in for mid-turn. That could only mean one thing. Her blade was about to get him. It was no more than a second, but he allowed the kick to push him back a couple feet or more, after which he skipped a step bakwards and the heavy blade missed his neck by 2-3 inches. [He immediately noticed that its power was tremendous, but she appeared to obviously retain a large amount of the force to follow-up with the combo. The attack almost felt like a diversion. Versus an actual blunt strike, presumably?] With widened eyes and a sharp smile the teen lunged just as her blade passed... And now would attempt to pierce her chest with Rigormortis. A quick and rather elegant intricate strategy for one who technically lacked a super-high amount of agility.

Whether the pierce of his blade succeeded or failed, Mifune immediately woud back up, moving at a quicker pace than one would normally stride. Any longer and he'd have to face the titan's strength again. Not a good idea to wait for death, rather... Escaping death was much a much more self beneficial thing. "Whoa? Trying to behead me? Oii, I was gonna pull punches but you swing harder than Babe Ruth! But face the facts, I'm unbeatable, you could never beat my curve ball.~" ...Wait, the boy frowned as if confused. Who and the flying fucks is Babe Ruth?! Whatever... At least it sounded cool!

Kia groaned as Mifune dodged both Blizzard Blue 1.0 and Seraph Blade, This made her very irritated. Why did everyone always dodge her attacks!? She was distracted by the thought and the teenage boy's sword pierced her in the chest, she took the blow and massaged her chest with her fist as if it hurt.. The blonde was waiting for the pain of the blade, wait for it... wait for it.. She'll lose this fight, just like she loses everything, she wasn't not good enough.. It was all over for her, she would die by swordplay. The girl waited for the pain to take over, but...

It didn't.

Kia flinched. Sure, she was bleeding but it didn't even hurt one bit! How could she endure the tip of the blade like that? The teenage girl wiped of the blood on her denim jeans and managed to laugh when Mifune made a comment about a non-existent being. "Babe Ruth, really dude?" She giggled, suddenly her goofy grin turned into a straight line she would lunged at him with Seraph Blade and swung in a horizontal arc aiming at his legs as if to attempt to amputate both of his legs in a wild motion.

Whether it hit or not, she would take a few steps back and would casually de-summon Seraph Blade and raise up her hands. Something was underground, it made a noise an electric chair would make while electrocuting someone. Mifune would probably react to this, but if he ran in different directions it would follow him, there was no escape.. Kia had never used this ability on anyone, he was the first opponent to.. Well, she wondered how he would react to it..

If Mifune stopped in one place, A large electrobolt would come out of the arena ground from underneath Mifune and if he was affected by it.. It would make him fly up into the air, a few seconds later it would cause an explosion. Kia rushed forward while debris covered the sky, she would attempt to wrap her hand around Mifune's throat and if she managed to have him by the throat she throw him to the audience, She wasn't going to lose...

No... No no no! How was she okay? His blade must have dug in at the very least five inches! How had she taken a shot like that unphased... What was she?  Achilles?  Ugh... This was gonna get rough, pretty damn soon ((q.q))  ... She mocked his words with an egotistical chuckle. And lunged at him, but the sudden shock at her immunity to pain was still registering.  He only had a split second to duck from the blades. Flaw... He could only move so much, the blades slashed him digging into his thighs, when he bent his knees to lean backwards.  He thanked Gaia for the fact that she was only able to graze an inch into him. Both legs were in pain though...

Skipping backwards ten feet, he panted for air and touched his blood. It was running... Damn it. This wasn't a happy day. His speed would be deducted later on. Hah! Didn't matter. Even at half speed Mifune wasn't rivaled in speed by Kia. The teenager gripped Rigormortis as he glared toward her.

The boy wiped sweat from his face using his left hand. He watched the woman desummoned a large buster blade; as she did so his eyebrow crept up in curiosity. As her hand raised, Mifune felt an odd tremor... It was like... right below him? He then caught on, and with an expression of pure surprise he locked eyes with Kia. Horrified he turned to move... Too late.~

Zzzzzzz! Boom! An incredible burst of electrical power stung his flesh. Seeming to flow like water into his body... It felt numbing which actually helped his thighs for the time being; though... A painful lump in his heart also seemed to occur as Mifun felt very hot sparks come to together on his chest... BOOOOOM!
Another powerful electrical attack but in this occurance it was that of an explosion.  An incredibly hot energetical magic  metaphorically equivalent to that of a grenade. However, his whole front immediately turned to a stone texture. He was saved from some of the pain!  He was protected from the immense casualties of the explosion. Thank the gods! BUT... Due to the  unexpectedness he was taken so far off his game he fell to the ground stunned, in a bewilderment of emotions.~

Well he would've fell I guess... But the titan of a girl was already locking her powerul hands around his throat, any harder and she would've snapped his neck in that very instant! But it seemed she had other plans as to throw him at the audience.  This is where Mifune's eyes lit up in anger, he used his super quick hand movements to attempt grabbing the girl by the face and would follow-through by blowing a fireball right into her beautiful young eyes. It was a cheap trick, to decieve a opponent some would say.  But to Mifune... Every kind of tactic was a devised strategy. He would grin.

Even if she somehow managed to get away from the powerful flames that would blow up in her prideful state, she would fail to throw him into the bleachers which was good enough for him. When he dropped to the ground he rolled into a stand position and used his still gripped blade to strike several times in a rapid succesion of swordscraft. Obviously the attacks were a menacing attemt to bak her away from his zoning, but it wouldn't be a surprise if some of his slashes were delt. Besides that, Mifune could find no other answer... His only hance was to use his speed to overwelm the titan girl. He would soon show her what a true gladiator was capable of...

Kia wasn't able to throw him into the audience, she quickly turned her head as he summoned a fireball at her. She quickly dropped him and turned to run away, but it was too late. The beach-ball sized fire rolled towards her back and caused her to cry out and fall towards the ground on all fours. She gritted her teeth as she felt the tears well up into her eyes, she almost had him there and now she was going to lose again! 

The blonde noticed a shadow coming towards her and she rolled landing on her back as Mifune came towards her slashing his sword in fury attacks. She held up her hands to block the attacks but all of the slashes starting cutting her arms and causing large sized cuts, she bit her lower lip and reached forward attempting to grab onto his hair. If she managed to, she would bring him forward and raise up her knee bringing down his face onto it at least once before letting go of his hair and rolling backwards.

Kia looked at all of the large cuts on her arms as they oozed out crimson liquid, she turned to Mifune and shook her head. The blood kept running down her arms as she panted, she didn't bother to wipe any of it away since hey, she looked brutal! Kia stood in her place as three massive balls of fire appeared behind her, swirling at a fast pace. She walked slowly toward him as the balls of fire kept swirling behind her with an evil smirk on her face they rushed towards Mifune one by one.

One of them hurled right past Kia's shoulder and aimed right at Mifune, if he managed to dodge it would fly right past him and cause an explosion right on the stands of the coliseum. The spectators in the stands fell right from their seats into where the other citizens were sitting. Kia widened her eyes as she saw that she had hurt people, she quickly lost control of her ability as they flew from her shoulders both aiming at Mifune...

The flurry of rapid strikes came to quick succession. He was literally ripping the skin off her arms with his speed. Normally this would be considered horrendous. But the healers here were amazing... Not to mention, Kia had started this battle.


Kia; The Bolt of Prosperity---had also began with such hostility, by attempting to behead the male... What kind of harmless teenager took people's heads away just after meeting them?! No... Her power was immense, arguably weaker than Haimons' from what Mifune could put together... Yet incredibly above his own. It was something, that he didn't enjoy saying in his thoughts.

The beat of his heart pulsed when the girl roared upward to grab his head. He was prepared to land a powerful thrust from his right leg to her jaw. Flaw... She had cut his legs earlier before the electricity, while only an inch deep; it still stung considerably. The teen instead took control of the moment as any warrior might. As her hand gripped his hair. He proceeded to go in...

Mifune would use all the speed he could muster... He drove Rigormortis into her right side, or so he had attempted; but not completely made sure of yet. However, by the fact that it was put together with haste plus his quick-thinking, escape was futile! Kia lacked the skill of swordsmanship! She ran on blunt power over intellect, it would be a lucky break for her to escape such flawless penetration... And so... Pushing as far as Mifune could, he hoped to see it come out the other end. Though... He soon felt a knee planted in his face! It was all over now, in one strike. "Kia wins~"

Crunch... The cartilage in his face bent, a pain shot through his entire body once again.

But how had it been possible? She had still managed to hurt him even though his attack should've pierced... Should'nt it had interfered!? Had The Adventurer missed his mark? Had she dodged?! Or was it that the woman was really so enduring that jamming hole through the organs, still phased her so little?! No... No! No! No!

But it was inevitable, unfortunately. For him to stand up. He felt his entire body fall first to the knees, then dirt. As he cried from the bludgeon's ["knee's"] damage. He never expected her knee to possess such unrivaled, colossal, unstoppable raw power!

Blood trickled down his shocked face. His nose was broken and yet... All he could do was cry at her feet. Whine as he lost grip of his blade. Was it really impaled into the woman? Had it fallen to the ground as well? What the fuck was happening?!?!?! Mifune Domen would've loved to know the answer. But the extreme pain caused him to black out. No doubt a concussion of the sorts.

Pfft.

He laid face down in the dirt while people grew quiet. His own world had shown up to watch. Watch his humiliation. Tsk... Year's of making a name for himself. Gone~

...

The announcer appeared stunned; same as the entire stadium. Some clapped for Kia as others stood speechless. Had Olympus and its prized warriors really been beaten by the likes of a foreign girl? Such outrage! Such disgrace! No man could fall before a little woman.

His country would disown him for this. These were Romans after all. The announcer picked up his microphone and spoke out-loud an embarrassed tone about him. "An, an unexpected turn of events ladies and gentleman. It seems Chia has won the match! A new junior champion, and... A hopeful future contender for the adult leagues!" The announcer dropped his microphone. As he shook his head, annoyed by Mifune's weaknesses...

Kia heard the crowd roared as the fireballs went into different directions, blowing up in the stands. A few people were hurt, but thankfully not dead! She looked around as they cheered for her, but some were shocked that a small girl with baby fat managed to defeat a much taller boy in combat.. Without armor! Kia felt like she was floating on air, she felt like she was somewhat a special snowflake.

The teenage girl groaned as the announcer mispronounced her name, "It's Ky-uh! I'm not pet food!" She yelled at him, but she couldn't be heared by all the cheering. She looked down at Mifune and almost kneeled to see if he was okay, but she felt something piercing her side.

Kia looked to her right side and saw that Mifune's own sword was right into her right side. What an unexpected surprise,  maybe he could've won after all.. She smiled, how was she born with these strange powers? Not being able to feel pain? Carrying people who weighed more than her? How? It was mysterious, "...At least I won..." She muttered before passing out.
