Personality: As a nobody, Nicerex technically does not have a personality. However, as nobodies are wont to do, he adopted his old personality, similarly to his heartless. He however, puts a bit more distance between his old self and his current self than his heartless counterpart. While, overall, he is a nice enough person, he is very much someone who enjoys toying with people. Coupled with his apparent disinterest in most everything, this is commonly unnerving to people. He has power, and he knows this. He is very confident in his abilities, even if they are more limited than most. Unlike his heartless counterpart, he has no desire to work with other people. The only reason he has partnered up with the heartless Rience is mutual survival. If he dies, then he doesn't get to be himself anymore. So, he follows whatever orders his heartless gives, content in the fact that as long as he sticks close to himself, he won't lose the freedom to wander and be the person he has chosen to be.
Appearance:

History: Born in Radiant Garden to a family of four, Rience Avalon was the youngest member of the Avalon family, a small family of scientists and merchants. He was the only son that the Avalon family ever had. However, there was also one problem with him...his heart veritably swam in darkness. His sister's, mother, and father all possessed hearts of light. This simple difference was unknown to any of them. However, Rience as a child was a very difficult one, always getting into mischief or harming other children. As such, he grew up nearly always in trouble, up until he turned ten. When he turned Ten, he calmed down, and his current nice guy personality was established..but his sadistic streak was also being hidden rather well now.

Life went on, and the world's kept turning. Nothing really changed for five years, he continued being nice, took up a part time job, and studied various subjects for school in his spare time. One of these was magic. He worked very hard on learning magic, and found that he was gifted at using fire, earth, and darkness, while also being extremely proficient at using glass magically. This gift made him very valuable to his mother, who sold various parts for ships that could travel between worlds. He had a deal with her. He would strengthen windshields and other glass for her ship parts, she would take him with her when she left for a peaceful world on business.

This proved to be very successful. However, Rience developed major health problems a few months after taking up his job..He was constantly breathing in powdered glass. After he started coughing blood during a demonstration of his power, Riences mother, Alva, rushed him to a healer, who used a combination of water magic and light magic to both remove the glass from his lungs and heal the wounds. This event led to Riances now near omnipresent mask. After that things went smoothly, he would do a few demonstrations, ask to be excused while the adults did business, and then found some hapless civilian to harass.

Yes, on his trips, Riance fed his sadistic nature. It made the darkness in his heart swell in power. Another five years of this would pass before his mother discovered what he did and punished him, forbidding him from coming with her on her trips. This led to him abusing the various weaker teenagers in Radiant Garden. This happened nearly unapposed for a year. By the end of that year, Riance was unknowingly ready to cross a moral event horizon.

It was the final day of December, Riances 20th birthday. He was now a young man. His family had a tradition, which all members of his family knew. Upon their twentieth birthday, all members of the Avalon family received a gummi ship, capable of holding two people plus cargo. However...Upon intense debate....it was determined that he would not be receiving his ship, and therefore his freedom. Upon discovering this, his anger, which had been stamped down into a dark corner of his mind, burst out in full intensity. As he slammed his hand down on the table, ten megashadows burst into existence.

The slaughter was quick. The merchants and scientists had no way to fight back. Riance was the only member that knew magic..and he was paralyzed with fear. He watched as the bodies of his mother, father, and sisters vanished, their hearts floating away. Then the shadows turned on him. He stumbled backwards, holding a hand out, powdered glass emanating from it as he yelled at the cursed beings to stay back. They simply tilted their heads in confusion.

Their voices then all entered his mind at once. He had summoned them..His heart was so dark, his will so strong..they had been drawn to it. They then vanished upon him ordering them to leave..However...a hooded figure appeared as well. He offered Riance power. Enticed him with visions of him standing above all..He simply had to let the darkness overtake him. He looked into the hooded figures eyes, and simply nodded.

The deal was struck. The being brought forth a pitch black blade into his hand, and gave it over to the young man. He knew what he had to do...He turned the blade on himself...and stabbed it all the way into his chest, screaming out as the darkness flowed, deconstructing him as he was slowly pulled into the realm of darkness. When he finally awoke, he was no longer in his home, nor was he in the realm of darkness...He felt...powerful. He knew what he was almost immediately...the words...Pureblood...Pseudo-Heartless...they were there, in his mind. The man who gave him the dark blade had physically manifested a keyblade..it unlocked the darkness, opened his heart as a vessel..He was powerful..He was now one of them...

However, when he became a heartless, the body and soul was left behind. As it hurtled through the pathways between the worlds, it transformed. Golden locks becoming a lighter straw, blue eyes becoming brighter. Even his clothing went through a massive change. Unlike most nobodies, Nicerex was born on the doorstep of Castle Oblivion. While his heartless wandered the worlds, Nicerex was coming to terms with his existence. Without a personality, but with memory enough to forge a new one. Eventually, he decided that he would be someone who did not rely on others, nor fear their own power. He would not allow trivial things to bring fear.

As he became more and more accustomed to his existence and abilities, he became curious. He sought himself out. They were similar enough still that it was easy to find his heartless. They met several times. Each time his heartless tried to convince him that they would be better suited working together than apart. Bit by bit, he was able to convince the young nobody. However, he had one term of his own, atop the others that Rience put in place: He knew that out there, some member of their family was likely also born a nobody. He would only work with him provided he find someone of relation to them. When the deal was struck, they began their search. Eventually, they would find Laxan. Their older sister was the only member of the family to be born again. The terms met, the three of them eventually began to work together, both the nobodies under Rience's command.
