Ability Description: Alyx is capable of casting forth a barrier of darkness to defend her or her allies, a black tinted bubble forming around her for around 10 feet in a circle; the bubble closing together to form solid darkness when something of weaker or comparable strength clashes with it. While she can sustain it for longer by concentrating, it usually only lasts around two posts from the time of casting. It acts as a second tier END bubble against attacks or feats of strength.

So it's strength is comparable to Tier 3 END?

*3 posts, without sustaining. Also, it doesn't gain strength when put more mana into it, as it only reflects the concentration, rather than the need for power. If she wants more power, she'd need to cast it twice, for a maximum of 120 MP defense.

I understand the double power. The rest of it has me a little lost. Like for instance the three post thing. Doesn't it only last two upon first casting? Explain a little please.

1. Yes, I figured because of my sentinel skill tree I could do this- but I can bump it down to two, considering I am only a T1.

2. I believe I fixed it, if I didn't I apologize.

Changed once more due to ability precedents. For curiosities, I put is able to defend up to 25 more MP that it can defend naturally (25 MP Cost = 50 MP Defense) and added 10 more and an END tier boost to physical and magical defenses due to her sentinel skill tree.

Also, may I ask why? I mean, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but the precedent says "Barrier spells can block any offensive magic. Unlike negation, the caster is able to block higher MP spells without having to use the same amount of MP."

Perhaps a bit more explanation on it if I erred somewhere?

This is on me, since I wasn't really clear with you or Onyx.

Basically, a barrier of a certain amount of mana put into it can block any spell in it's tier, no matter how much mana. This may be elaborated on in the future when I find the time.

Took out the 85 MP bit.
