Taking a Break

So, I just need some time away from posting. Idk, for those that know me you know I don't actually know how long this'll last because it's an addiction. But I've got work and I just need to stop staying up so late. I'm not sure how to explain it, but don't worry. It won't be long, hopefully. I'll likely post at least once this week for the topics I'm in if need be.

Take it easy, Drakar. You need your rest, bro. Handle your stuff and rest assured we'll all still be here.

If the issue persists, where you want to keep posting but you're staying up too late, you should focus on posting at a certain, reasonable hours. Then, maybe, you can socialize until you need to sleep? Just addressing the addiction, since if you have difficulty managing it, then strategic dosage would be more efficient.

Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.

The issue isn't the site, it's just something I stare at that keeps me up because of other issues preventing me from sleeping. By that I mean, I can't sleep so I do something to fill my time.

Then why would you need time away from posting? Treating the symptom won't fix the underlying cause. Not saying you shouldn't, but while you treat the symptom, you should try your best to address and rectify your inability to sleep.

I've had issues with Insomnia for 15+ years now and largely adapted to it. Something that seems to help me during times I HAVE to sleep for some reason is preparing a few days in advance. About a half hour before I want to sleep I take a hot shower and drink a warm glass of milk. I turn off all the lights and (heaven forbid) shut my laptop's screen. Usually I can't fall asleep without noise so I play some music or watch a tv show or movie I've seen multiple times. Try that every night at the same time and I promise you'll see at least some sort of results. The key to insomnia is to fix your cycles.

Take it easy man. I hope it doesn't keep you down for to long, but its all understandable. I hope things at work start to look up and stuff. : )

It's unfortunate that you'll be taking a step back from RPing, but if it'll ultimately help you out, then we can't blame you, haha. Hope you figure stuff out soon and find a balance.
