What a disappointment. Faye thought, looking at the lone castle nestled against the sea. A little town was nearby, but none of it could possibly host the magical energies she had sensed as she traveled through the stars. Had she made a mistake? Her? No, impossible. Since venturing outside the Enchanted Dominion, her power had only increased. The sorceress had been a master of magic before, but now she could confidently say that she was even more. A sage of the arcane. When magic was in the air, it invaded her senses, so much that she could practically taste it. There was something here; she was sure of it, and she would find it.

This was a strange world, made up almost entirely of water. The only landmass to her knowledge was the very one she stood upon. How did these people survive like this? Obviously, they had no issues. Their town appeared just fine, thriving even, which was the least she could say of her world. "Such a strange place." the woman said softly, fascinated by the waves that lapped against the white sandy shore. Were the waters of this world alive? Faye had never seen an ocean before. Her homeland did possess large bodies of water, lakes so deep that no light could ever hope to reach, and rivers so swift they'd pull you away, but to see water touch the horizon from east to west, that was something else.

As Faye continued to gaze at the sparkling sea, she began to wonder. What if the magic she had sensed was not on land, but laid down below? There was one way to find out. Slipping off her shoes, the sorceress raised her dress up around her ankles, and stepped into the cold waters. The gritty sand sunk in between her toes, and for a brief moment, she almost lost her balance. The power of the undertow nearly sucking her in as if it were trying to devour her whole. Once she found comfortable footing, Faye allowed her mind to drift. Yes, she could see it know. The essence of magic swirling in the ripples and foam. It was not the land that held promise, but the ocean, and that was where she needed to go.

With magic so rich, there must be information where to find a Keyblader, and maybe even to stop a Heartless such as Malazon. either option would be welcomed. One way or another, Faye was going to find a power to save her world from the darkness whether it be a pure or damned path. There was one problem, however. One could not simply walk through the sea, and search around. That would prove far too difficult. Faye would have to make some changes before she started this journey. "Hmm," she gently placed a finger to her headdress, feeling of the dark red gems. The magic weaved within the jewelry had potential, able to transform a person based upon their surroundings. However, she had never tested the feature for herself. An enchantment involving such a dramatic change was delicate. Until she perfected the ability to transform on her own, she would have to rely on the jewel. One little hiccup could be disastrous, but a risk had never stopped her before.
