Hello all! I am Marigold Darkson, currently one of the owners of Mirage Hearts. Just like the previous small update mentioned, we will now be rolling out the change to the overall meta. This will be our attempt at keeping everything contained within the mechanics of the site in terms of the competitive nature of it, while preserving your creative freedoms within these "limits."

We shall begin with Mana Pools:

Mana Pools (MP)

MP has seen a bit of a change that we, the staff, have felt is completely necessary. These changes were made to avoid a constant break of the system and having to pile on update, after update, after update, and giving you, the members, so many things to look at. Below, this is a clear and concise limitation to what you can and cannot do with your MP pools.


  • 3 MP Pools Max


  • 1,000 MP Per Pool


  • Once at max pools, there is no possible way to get anymore through any circumstance


Summons and DP

We took a look at summons and after some careful deliberation, felt that the "Time" aspect and things belonging to it, felt a bit too restraining and limiting on our glorious creatures. We managed to work out a couple of specifics involving summons, which will be listed below. Also, a little blurb about DP will show up, so keep an eye out for that.


  • Summons will now have their statistics in a numerical value akin to character tiers for their stats. This is to avoid vague descriptions such as, "a lot of strength," or, "negligible endurance."


  • Summons can only go up to Tier 5. Due to much confusion and out of context conversation, we have decided to move the cap back down to T5, in order to prevent further confusion.


  • "DP" has been changed to "GP (Gauge Points)."


  • 1 GP Pool Max


  • Skill-Trees can give 2 GP per tier (you will need to use your slots for this).


Nobodies

Let's be real. Nobodies were a bit underpowered when lined up against the other races. Their inability to port/teleport to an area that's being observed by any of the senses, the inept technique to utilize nothingness to Banish things such as summons, plus their limited usage of the element to begin with, it was about time we added some buffs to them.


  • Nobodies can now "Banish" summons utilizing the Nothingness element


  • Nobodies can utilize portals even in spaces that are being observed (because they were able to do so in the series anyways).


Auras

Some people may disagree with this, but we have felt that the point below was absolutely necessary, as to avoid certain loopholes through the use of wording. However, don't think that we will change everything just because someone is clever with their usage of language.


  • Skill-Tree abilities that have to deal with auras, will be considered an aura effect. This stretches up to being able to manipulate the space and air within the radius of one's own aura.


Guilds

It was a good attempt, but we just couldn't find any concrete or balanced way to utilize this feature for the site. We will be taking down the Guild aspect. This doesn't mean you can't create your own factions through personal plots and the like, it just means that we will not have a system based on merits and other aspects such as that.
