So, first time on the job! I'm excited! I can't believe I even made it this far. I mean, yeah, I was basically trained for this, but I can't believe they're actually making me handle one of the Spectre units!

Spectre units?

Not when some stray debris gets lodged into one of the clamps, basically breaking their transformation switches. It's not that hard to do either. Anyone could just put a rock on the leg and poof, you'll never be airborne again.

Oh it is. Trust me. If you notice the malfunction too late, you're gonna have a really bad day. Have you ever tried lifting those things up when they faceplant? You need some heavy equipment to get those things going.

It's feels weird talking to a screen... I wish Vinyl was here, at least I won't be feeling insane... I just don't get why-- Oh crap, it's recording already?

Uhh, sorry about that... So, this is my second log for my second day! The excitement has yet subsided from yesterday, especially now that K-10 is here! Well, not in the room, but he's close. They've placed him just across the hall. I've been waving at him from the window for the last couple of minutes, but he didn't seem to notice. I wouldn't say he's ignoring me, I mean they could have a one-way window in his room. I know they have that in some places.

Anyway, he looks... well... he looks pretty much human. His exoskeleton is all metal from what I could tell, but I know it's not as simple as that. It never is with this place.

[Tapping on the desk]

I don't know what else to say. Hmm... Oh, right, they gave me a file on him.

[Papers shuffling]

Here it is! I almost forgot about it. That would have been embarrassing, since we'll be formally introduced in... a few hours. *Sigh* Why did it have to be midnight? Vinyl and I have been up all night yesterday, telling me the story of Sheila's Viking getting stuck in the mud, head-first after its transformation system got jammed. Hahaha--Oh shoot, I wasn't supposed to record that... Vinyl is going to kill me if Sheila finds out she told me the story. Is there anyway to delete this recording? I'll have to ask her when she gets back...

Anyway, off to K-10's file... Let's see here...

Aw crap... Well... it seems he was actually brain dead when they placed him in the exoskeleton. Technically... they built the exoskeleton into him. It says here that during one of Dex Team's ambush on a military convoy, he was recovered under a truck, pretty much mince meat. It doesn't say here, but I'm guessing he was one of us. Why else would they go through the trouble? Guess that explains why he didn't wave back.

Strange... it doesn't say what his name was... Hmm... I wonder if I get to name him...
