Tier One
Summonable Weapon: Dire Crescent can be summoned/de-summoned
Nothing Stays Locked: Dire Crescent can be used to unlock/lock any object
Lets Play Darts: Dire Crescent is capable of firing bullets of light from its point
Twilight Key:  During sunrise and sunset Dire Crescent does slightly more damage
Padlock: Dire Crescent can lock small objects into a location in space via the natural ability to unlock and lock things

Tier Two
Imagination Breaker: Giving off a glow of moonlight, making contact with Dire Crescent allows Amadeo to see through illusions, while calming anyone else the weapon makes contact with.
Lumen Ars (Light Arts): Dire Crescent now deals extra light damage with every hit it lands. Coated in an aura of light, the weapon is much brighter and sets people around it at ease.  
Power of Balance: When Lumen Ars is active, Twilight Key's damage is upped to moderate damage in all applicable places
Power of Purity: Dire Crescent does slightly more damage against those with Darkness or Nothingness as their Heart element

Tier Three
Mercy, Last Stand: Dire Crescent now turns into a massive Axe, with a serrated blade, and spiked hammer end, at Amadeo's command.
Light's Uprising: Dire Crescent now does moderately more damage to people with darkness or nothingness as their heart element  
Burnwave: Dire Crescent, in its Mercy form, is capable of being slammed into the ground to create a linear shockwave of pure light
Mercy's Hammer: Dire Crescent, in its Mercy form, is capable of its hammer being slammed into the ground, causing an entire area to be closed off by a barrier of light. (Think like what Axel does in KHII against roxas, trapping him in that ring of fire)

Tier Fourth
Mercy's Wing: Dire Crescent can now turn into a hoverboard at Amadeo's command, which allows him to travel the pathways between worlds, if he is wearing his keyblade armor to protect against the elements.
Liberation of The Heart: Dire Crescent can release the hearts of the weakened or willing
Shadow's Fear: Dire Crescent does much higher damage against weilders of darkness
Guardian's Code: Whenever amadeo takes damage, he gains a slight boost to his strength (I.E. he gets stronger with every hit)

Tier Five
Retribution, Final Stand of Mercy: Dire Crescent now turns into an insanely massive laser railgun cannon, which fires an extremely condensed burst of light, thousands of shards of metal, or a burst of superheated water, all of  which can be triggered at any time. This weapon is easily considered a weapon of mass destruction.
Bounce: Dire Crescent can bounce back darkness attacks via physical contact
