This may be my ignorance, but is black metal an established metal? If not, may be have a comparison to durability. Iron, steel, etc.

The official mods may take this over, if they see this and it's not done. If you just happen to be online, I figured I'd take care of it.

There is a topic that gives an outline of what T1 Synth can do, and it's not a whole awful lot as you can imagine. But basically, you can put a buff on it. Only one, but they Synth stat says of any kind and any power (barring of course, entire tier jumps since that's now officially a no go).
