Summer Tournament: Tsumiko vs Shirou

First Round: Tsumiko vs Shirou
Summer Tournament, Round One.
Location: Keyblade Graveyard; Badlands
Conditions: Midday; Cloudy

The moogle looked at the man, slowly shaking its head as it caught the coin and slapped it on to the back of its hand. Looking to the coin, it lift it's hand and revealed the side.

"Heads, kupo!~ Play fair, play hard, and good luck, kupo!" it'd say before vanishing into a flashy warp of space.

“Oh, with pleasure!~” the songstress chimed with a grin, outstretching her arms as she activated Songstress' Aura. With that, she jumped away with a backflip, high into the air. Reaching the peak of her jump, she outstretched her hands, facing the man below, and used her empowered Spot Light spell. It created an intense flash of light, both blinding and burning him with the holy magic. What he'd be able to see before the flash, however, was a small, turquoises seal that was present on the palm of one of Tsumiko's hand. It was the seal of her summon, symbol of their pact, amassing the energy needed for it to appear.

As she descended, an outstretched hand swept to the side, calling forth the geyser that was her Cruel Surge. It aimed to send Shirou shooting into the air to give her some precious seconds her to get herself set up. Landing on her feet with a graceful flair, the songstress finalized her summoning, and a Magic Construct appeared at her side, its small symbiote circling around its top. From there, a wave of energy erupted from her person, the result of several innate skills activating.

And as she laced her hands together, weaving together the songs that would heighten her physical performance in different fields, the summon had stationed in front of her, guarding Tsumiko as it was her will it did so. It cast both Guardian's Invocation and Will of Stone upon itself and Tsumiko after applying Frugal Mana. When satisfied with it's work, it was quick to cast Enraged Rip-Current, a spell of Tsumiko's accessible to it by the bond it shared with the woman. The three spheres formed a triangle before it, primed and ready to strike should anything get within range. Beside these spheres, a dozen small bubbles drifted into view, floating here and there between Tsumiko and Shirou. The construct shifted to Tsumiko's side as she sucked in a deep breath. The air in her lungs infused with her magical energy, and was expelled in a Sonar Blast that quickly carried several of the bubbles in the man's direction.

The songstress snickered at the pun, finding the man's play-on-words so lame. Though she was rather miffed to find that he managed to avoid being affected by her aura. Taking that into account, she'd have to formulate another plan. Annoying on it's own that was. And so was the replica barreling at her. While Tsumiko was able to move out of the way in time, her Construct was not so fortunate. Blasting it in its descent with the three spheres on it's Enraged Rip-Current, each one dealing out moderate damage. When it neared close enough, the damage would only increase. As this happened, the Construct braced for impact and cast Oppressive Depths on itself.

The force of the replica and the keyblade-scythe it summoned collided violently with the Construct. The impact sent out a harmless wave of energy and created a small crater in the earth beneath them. The Construct, taking the brunt of the strike with its immense endurance, left an imprint in the ground which turned muddy at the water surrounding it. Its stone surface cracked as it bled turquoises ethereal energy that evaporated and disappeared in a mist. The sphere all the while never ceased it's relentless assault on the replica.  

Tsumiko watched this happen with a scowl on her face, activating her Thick Skinned skill just before the moment of impact and applying it to both it and herself. It would help a little in alleviating the damage it took, with the added help of Saving Grace. She was not pleased, and began amassing energy. Her body emanated a bright light as it underwent a violent change. Feathery, snow white wings sprouted from her back and her physical capabilities heightened.

After, she began weaving the mana needed to do two things. The first was to cast Slow Dance on Shirou and the replica. Both would feel as though there were moving though molasses should it successively hit them. The second would be to use the skill Construct Construction, creating another summon on the field for the songstress to claim as an ally. This construct sported a deeper blue as its color base. As the first rose from the ground, still being injured and cracked despite being healed, the second cast Enraged Rip-Current and joined it in beating down the replica with constant screams of water.

With the replica being occupied, the songstress took to the air and began singing what would be her Requiem of the Damn. The song was aimed at the man's frontal lobe, the area of the brain that regulated and controlled such things as decision making, problem solving,consciousness, and emotions. She wanted to severe all these functions but was aware that it would take time. So as she waited, Tsumiko directed  half the bubbles loitering around the field towards Shirou, who she was flying towards, herself at an incredible speed. The other half went towards the replica.

The moogle returned to the field in a glittery patch of warped space, fluttering harmlessly beside the woman. With one hand raised in her direction, the moogle made it's announcement. "With battler Shirou forfeiting the match, he admit defeat and Tsumiko wins by default, kupo!~ Congratulations!"
