Universal Arrival [Private]

"Eeaaaahhhhhh!"

Serenae screamed, though none near would hear it. She wasn't sure exactly what was happening but she felt as though her entire body was being squeezed and stretched at the same time; it was a completely unreal experience. Her and Storm had been out exploring and stumbled upon a very strange anomaly floating a few feet in the air. It looked almost like a floating glass sphere, and if you were more than a few dozen feet away you would probably miss it. As they approached it, she began feeling very strange and she was pulled towards it. It was the most bizarre experience she had ever had. Her vision began darkening, and she felt as if all of the air had been sucked from her lungs. She felt as though she was floating in limbo for several moments until all of the sudden everything became bright again, and she felt as though she had been flung several yards. She landed hard on her back, knocking whatever wind was left inside of her out. Her vision darkened again, and as the blackness closed in around vision, she completely passed out.

Storms eyes would flutter open. It took a bit for his eyes to adjust, but slowly his vision came back to him. He turned to his left.
Serenae

He gave her a nudge on the shoulder.

Serenae, wake up. He kept pushing on her shoulder. He had a bad feeling about this. He began to look around. This place was so strange. Suddenly, heartless, 10 or so of them, formed from the ground.

Erm, Serenae, I don't mean to rush your or anything but now would be a great time to wake up!

After what seemed like hours, Serenae finally reached the edge of consciousness. This was largely due to Storm shaking her awake, but that didn't help at all. Her entire body was aching from colliding with the ground, but other than that she felt fine. She was verbally encouraged by Storm to get up, and she let out a low groan, hoping to relieve the body ache. Storm prodded her again, indicating to her that something was going on. Her eyes flicked open and the first thing she noticed was a heartless begin a leaping attack towards her. She quickly sat up in an attempt to respond.

Blossom of Dusk flashed into her hand though it wouldn't be fast enough to deflect the attack from the heartless.

Storm would immediately summon his dagger to his hand and throw it at the heartless, hitting with pin point accuracy right in the head. One down, 9 to go. He summoned his dagger back into his hand, while also summoning his sword.

You got a plan?

The heartless took a blow to the head in mid-air, vanishing promptly. It would appear Storm was already on his feet and fighting; "Nope!" she declared as she got to her feet. She observed their surroundings a bit and a fairly large tower nearby grabbed her attention. "Let's just kill these off, then we can figure something out." Serenae turned towards another heartless near her and aimed a swing, taking it out. They could easily make short work of the heartless.

Sounds like a plan to me. Storm would again throw his dagger, hitting one in the chest. He would follow up after by a charge and sword slash to another, both vanishing promptly.

Another heartless jumped at her from behind and she turned, kicking it backwards. Her keyblade turned a lilac color and the followed the kick up by hurling Blossom of Dusk at the heartless, vanquishing it. Her keyblade returned, it's light fading as it returned back to normal. [Rose Raid: 2 Post CD;Blossom of Dusk passive ability, CD reduced -1; 1 Post CD]

She then struck out at another heartless, vanquishing it as well. Her keyblade then began glowing again. Serenae swung the blade in a powerful downward motion, releasing a long lilac wave of energy forward, killing another one. [2 Post CD;Blossom of Dusk passive ability, CD reduced -2; 1 Post CD] Three more down, and only three left now.

Storm would fall into his shadow, moving along the ground like a shadow heartless. (2 post cooldown) Storm would move behind the remaining three. He would leap out and stab one, throwing the dagger into anothers neck, then slicing the other with his sword, all three vanishing promptly.

You're losing your touch Serenae. Storm would comment with a smirk.

As Storm cleared the last few heartless out, Serenae let off a sigh. Storm commented on her fighting, to which she replied sarcastically, "Well, maybe if SOMEBODY didn't wake me from my nap..." She reached towards him with keyblade in hand and poked him in the side with the point.

"Alright, moving on though," she stated, walking brusquely passed him. "We really should figure out where we are. I've never been here before. Any thoughts?

Owww, don't poke me. Storm would say after the blade touched his skin.

And it's not a nap if Chloroform was involved. Storm would say with a chuckle.

Hmmm, it looks really similar to something I have seen before. Gah what was the name of it? Eh, I can't remember it for the life of me. Let's just venture on, we will see what we find.

Serenae scoffed, "Not like it would be the first time you tried something dumb like that." She turned back to him as he spoke, contemplating the idea for a moment. "Yeah, because adventuring somewhere we weren't familiar with totally didn't get us here in the first place..." She had to think things over for a moment.

No sense of adventure, you know, you're getting boring. Storm would shoot back a reply. He started walking to the tower.
You coming or what?

"Oh, BORING am I? Yeah, because getting pulled into some crazy swirling magnifying glass wouldn't make anyone want to be careful, right?" Serenae snapped back. "It's alright though, you can take the lead. After all, it's ladies first right?"

Serenae followed behind him, her keyblade still in hand. "So, you said you've been here before? What should we expect then?"

Well, I believe I was here when my sister was still alive. I remember heartless, and creepy fucking hallways. Storm would reply as they entered the tower.

It's almost pitch black in here. Storm said, eyes turning black to activating his Darkness Vision.

Seems like the lamps are not working.

"I see. That's a lot of fun to expect," Serenae said. "I'm certainly glad that we're heading up there PREPARED," she added snidely. As they entered the tower her senses were assaulted with darkness. It was incredibly dark inside; Storm voiced her thoughts. He seemed to fumble around for a moment and then added that the lights seemed to be dysfunctional as well.

"Well, I guess this is where I come in," she said, her keyblade beginning to glow faintly. [Ars Robus enabled] As it grew brighter the room was slowly illuminated in lilac, revealing a large stair case that occupied most of the left side of the floor and headed up to the right, wrapping around at the same angle as the wall of the tower.

"Well, I guess I'll be leading this time," Serenae said as she began her ascent.

The brightness from the keyblade screwed with Storms nightvision.


Jesus Christ, can you warn me next time? Storm deactivated his Darkness vision.

Go ahead, lead, I like watching you from behind.

"Pfft, last time I warned you about something you had a panic attack. I learned my lesson then," Serenae retorted. She pretended to ignore the second remark, though as they climbed she stopped suddenly in front of him. As he climbed behind her she swiftly dropped her right elbow sharply, aiming to nail Storm right in the stomach. The light around the room bounced as she did so. "Not in front of the heartless," she said, reaching up and brushing her long hair over her shoulder with her left hand.

Storm would move the the side of the elbow.

I promise I wasn't looking. Storm snickered. They kept climbing upward. They finally reached the second floor. Storm tweaked with one of the lights on the wall, making it light up.

Well at least one of them works. They ventured onward, exploring the second floor.

Looks like it's just a bunch of fucking books.

They proceeded upward farther, until they reached a door. Serenae pushed it open and they arrived on a landing lined with walls of books. Storm tried the lights again, though this time they worked. The lights brightened the room significantly more than her keyblade did. "Yeah, because that makes sense... All of the lights on this floor work but none on the last floor did. Something isn't right about that," she stated, not really expecting a response.

Storm seemed less than happy about the fact that the walls were lined with books. He didn't seem to notice the door exactly opposite of the room from the entrance either. "We can keep going if you want," she said, indicating towards the door that she presumed led farther up the tower. She didn't follow her own suggestion however, and instead approached one of the book shelves, pulling one from the shelves.

"The Complete History of Wonderland". Hm, sounds interesting. Too bad I don't have the attention span for this shit. Storm would close the book at put it on the shelve.


We should keep moving, this place is giving me the creeps. Storm would say, venturing towards the door. He grabbed the door nob and tried to give it a twist.

Locked.

Of fucking course it's locked. Storm would kneel down and pull out his dagger. It took him about 10 seconds to pop the door open. But, as it creaked open, a sudden burst of wind sent Storm backwards about 10 feet. Storm would stumble back to his feet.

What the hell was that?

Storm pulled the book from her before she had the opportunity to inspect more than a few pages of it. He seemed to take a slight interest, though didn't have the patience to deal with reading a tome of that size. He stuck it back into a spot on the shelf and turned around.He approached the door and found it locked, which Serenae found amusing.

She'd head over in a second, but Storm had put the book back in the wrong spot. Rather than saying something about it, she instead grabbed it and put it back properly herself. By the time she turned around however, Storm had managed to bypass the lock and open the door himself. She smiled slightly, though only for a moment. As Storm pulled on the door he was blasted backwards and a powerful rush of air filled the room. Storm must have been knocked more than half way back across the room.

Serenae raised her keyblade into a fighting stance in preparation, just in case. She approached the door unsure of what to expect.

Storm would grasp his dagger and sword and walk back towards the door. He would peak in to see what was inside. A single light in an empty room. Storm would motion his head at Serenae, telling her to follow his lead. He would walk into the room, getting a sudden chill to his skin.

It's so cold in here. He began walking to the light. As he neared it, it turned a really light blue color. He reached out to touch it. As his hand neared it, it disappeared into thin air, throwing the room into complete darkness. A sudden noise could be heard right next to him.

Heartless.

A swarm of them, 20 at the least. Just then, the door slammed shut. It was an ambush! Completely outnumbered, he took a breath.

Guess there is just no rest for the darkness is there?

After getting to his feet, Storm crossed the room as well. He approached the door slightly faster than she did, reaching the entrance first. He motioned her to follow and she did so. The room was much colder than the previous room and was also nearly pitch black. Even the light from her keyblade seemed to hit absolutely nothing in a vain attempt to illuminate the room. The only other sources of light inside the darkness came from the door behind them and faint blue light in the center of the room.

Storm approached and attempted to grab hold of it but it fizzled out of existance, leaving them in almost complete darkness. As he did so, a faint shuffling could be heard nearby and several yellow eyes blinked into existence in various places around them. The door to the room that they came in through slammed shut behind them, probably locking itself back up.

"Great, more heartless! These things are really starting to bother me," she said. Serenae focused the energy in her keyblade up, causing it to glow very brightly and stretch out longer. Flower petals began wrapping the blade, igniting as they did so. The blade warped out and changed proportions, gaining about a foot in length. [End Game Transformation + Ars Robus active] She lashed out at a nearby heartless, sending it sprawling in an inferno of lilac colored flower petals, leaving embers in the air behind it.

Darkness vision activated


Storm would withdraw his shadow, dismissing his dagger and sword, only to craft his favorite weapon, the 5 foot long, razor sharp, Katana. He would slice directly to his side, making it disappear instantly. Storm would then charge forward, slashing ones stomach, spinning around and getting another in the neck.


I'm so done with this shit. Storm would spin, avoiding an attack to his mid section, then stabbed through the chest of the heartless, making it vanish. Then, a crowd of them surrounded Storm. In a quick moment of panic, Storm threw the katana, it landing on the floor 5 feet behind the wave. Storm would switch places with the katana, summoned his dagger and sword back to his hands, and, I believe the expression is, "went ham." Slashing left and right, all 5 of the heartless vanished.

As Serenae sent the first heartless flying she took another swing, the increased size of her sword taking out a few more heartless. Another jumped at her from behind and she caught it midair with the tip of her blade, impaling it. She flourished her blade around in a wild series of circles, scoring her kills on a couple more in the surrounding area, each one exploding and vanishing, leaving lilac colored flower petals behind.

Serenae then performed a powerful downwards strike in Storm's direction, letting off a lilac colored wave of energy that caught one as it attempted to leap onto Storm. The wave also killed the impaled shadow that was decorating the tip of her blade. The wave was aimed between her and Storm, but would travel several feet off to his side. Serenae pulled her blade back, preparing herself in case any of the remaining heartless were intending on attacking her.
