Maybe he should have, maybe he was right not too...ugh those dreams really weren't helping his situation at all. Sure, he was mad at them, well not really them. The anger was more placed towards his alpha and his need to not want to train him at all, maybe there was nothing really the alpha could teach him. What if all those stories when he was younger were just grandiose tales of him trying to just earn the admiration of his offspring. An if that was the case it was definitely mission accomplished, however he couldn't believe that both his Alpha and Beta could possibly had been lying this entire time when it came to all those tales they had told not only him, but his sisters about too. Though those dreams why would he suddenly now be told all these different things every time he went to sleep and lets not forget that one nightmare that happened only two days back...The boy shuddered recalling that one, however he quickly beat the memory out of his head. He would solve all of that in due time, by himself. Odds are with this academy business he wasn't going to see anyone he actually knew for quite awhile, so for now I guess the plan would be too try and make friends. Though if he did see anyone that he knew...well there was always the stay inside his dorm and not come out for anything unless he needed to do classes, while also taking as much missions as he would be allowed to do solo.

The moment he finished that thought he felt something slap him on the cheek and he looked over to see a ball of slime looking at him with angry eyes. Obviously, someone was not very happy with the current thoughts that he was having about he was going to about his tenure here at Disney Academy. An if she had anything to say about it, it definitely wouldn't go the way that he was planning. She wanted to see him become an actual adventurer, not some guy who just sat around and felt sorry for himself. Nightmares this, Nightmares that. That's all its been for the last couple of days ever since he found he was coming to this Academy. She was going to get rid of this whole everything is trying get me attitude if it was the last thing she ended up doing.

For once they weren't on the hoverboard, rather he decided to take the portal which shot out from the bracelet when he said goodbye to half his family earlier, his parents being out of the house so he decided now was a good a time as any to leave.  Right now it was clear blue skies and a warm breeze was coasting across the bridge he was walking along, the slime that called herself his guardian on his shoulder both of them awaiting to see the academy. Pretty soon they would see other student's who wore the uniform similar to his however, with the modifications the boy made to his own he definitely stuck out like a sore thumb as more and more student's were able to be seen. Finally both of them could see the top of the academy and both of them stopped and were wide eyed, almost dropping his bag of luggage.

This PLACE was HUGEEEEE!

It was even bigger then Destinie's beta's house back at home and that place was big... A smirk was now on Mara's face, it was definitely going to be easy to avoid crowd's of people and more importantly if they were around, it would be easy to stay out of there way and not have to worry about burdening them. So far he did a pretty good job of staying away, so why not keep it up here? Holding the feather on the necklace that was around his neck he smiled and walked forward and made his way towards the large castle. First things first, get to the dorm and settle in...after that it was mission time!

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Faye Thu Mar 30, 2017 8:30 pm

Today was the day. Young men and women were arriving from all over with suitcases in hand, ready to settle into their home away from home. Here these gifted students would pursue a higher education while harnessing or gaining abilities. In her normal regal and extravagant attire, Lady Faye stood outside the school, observing the students that passed by and offering them directions. Her ornate fan move to and fro in a lazy motion, a kind but serious expression on her face. The tiny pink fairy dragon resting on her shoulder watched as well, cracking one eye open as she silently judged everyone. Wysteria chimed a single musical note now and then when she was intrigued.

Faye had been preparing for two weeks now, setting up her classroom and planning lessons. From moving books, furniture, and plants, it had been a hassle to get certain flora to cooperate with her. Many of them had minds of their own and she had to coax them down. The last thing the academy needed was an exotic plants to freak out and tear out a wall. Hopefully her students would be capable of handling what she had in store. In the back of her mind, she worried that she would be too hard on them, but she always pushed that thought aside. Overcoming obstacles made you stronger, and she'd be there to guide them. Though... what exactly would be so hard about botany? They'd be surprise, of that she was certain.

Sable had a less than pleased first day starting off at the Academy. Two hours after arriving she was set upon by the school guard and forced to change out of her more comfortable, hunting-ready attire, into something completely uncalled for. What didn't help things further was the language barrier between everyone involved but thankfully those weird bracelets allowed for clean translations... Once they had successfully pinned her down and accessed the feature. Now dressed for success, the disgruntled warrior had decided to map out the area on her own. She didn't need that trinket around her wrist to find the helpful nooks and crannies of the academy.

First thing she did was head over to the dormitories and make it her own. She was quick about marking the territory with a series of mundane gashes on the walls and finding the best bed possible, destroying it by rolling all over it and leaving behind her scent. Immediately after that, she traveled out the area and started to wander in the direction of the classrooms.

Her demeanor gave off an intimidating vibe at first, seeing as she was still upset over the whole escapade earlier. Small growls escaped between her lips whenever others wandered far too close, glares came when others whispered or gave the panther weird looks. No doubt Sable appeared to be a real bitch and a half with this sort of attitude, but didn't matter to her. All the jinko wanted to do was get acquainted with her new "prison" and take the opportunity for what it's worth. "Learning" and all of that other mumbo jumbo she didn't quite understand. Later, she could blow off steam if she found the right person for it...

Walking into the courtyard Mara and Su both surveyed the area with a smile on their face, by how pretty the courtyard was and not to mention all the lovely tree's and the pretty fountain that made up the was in the center of the courtyard. Talk about an awesome place indeed, though Mara definitely had one problem right now...He had no idea where the dormitories were and this place was indeed quite the gigantic place, he was going to need some help.

He was surrounded by other student's right now and for now the focus was too find a teacher...and luckily enough he found one! Ahead of the crowd of student's currently there seemed to be one who stuck out like a sore thumb. She had an ornate fan and she seemed to be looking at all the student's before her as if she was surveying them and not the land. The boy and the slime smiled at this and they leaped forward, though they ended up almost bumping into someone who seemed to be around the same height as him. Quickly he spun around the girl on his tippytoes before he could smack right into the girl and both him and Su quickly looked back at the girl after successfully moving past her. For the rest of his trip to the woman he held his luggage close to his side as to not annoy people with his bag.

"Apologies about that." The boy spoke and quickly turned his attention back to the woman in front of the student's. He weaved this way and that before finally being finding himself in front of the woman. "Excuse me, are you a teacher? Ya see, I'm one of the new student's and I'm looking for the dorm's could you perchance point me in the right direction?" The boy tried his best to be polite, he had no idea how the people of this place would react to his pitch black eyes...and not to mention he always got called an elf thanks to his knife sharp ears.

To be honest, being called an elf by a teacher would be better then them looking at him as if he was some type of creature of the night. Su on the other hand perked up the small slime ball looking down at the woman before them, noticing the height difference between her boy and the supposed figure of authority before them. For now the slime shrugged her nonexistent shoulders and they awaited their answer.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Faye Fri Mar 31, 2017 7:39 pm

The sorceress narrowed her eyes as a another student arrived, squinting her eyes to make out her features. This one stuck out among the others from her mannerism. Already, she could tell this was a rather... unusual child was the more polite word to use rather than the one she was thinking. Where on earth did they find such a girl and why was there such a wild look about her? Faye felt as if there was a panther lurking around the grounds, examining its new territory. Perhaps it was a part of her culture and there was nothing odd about her at all. Maybe that lead that had dropped into her gut was wrong for once. Earlier, the guards had been called to "assist" a student with her uniform, and she couldn't help but feel that this was the one that had caused some issues.

A cheerful voice forced her to shift her focus to another student. His eyes were the first thing she noticed, pure black and devilish in appearance, but the teenager seemed friendly enough. She had prepared herself to see all walks of life in this school and she was more curious about his appearance rather than frightened. Just as he may have hoped, the sorceress assumed that he was a child of elven or fairy descent due to his pointed ears, and was always happy to help someone that held a common ancestor--potentially. However, there was one thing that irked her about him: his uniform. The modest, gentleman suited attire had been altered. As an enthusiast of fashion, she would admit that it was a creative and oddly becoming change of the standard, but that didn't change the fact of the message of said change. Rebellion being the most common. Was that his intention, she couldn't say quite yet. Perhaps he was innocent and just wanted to stand out, but that wasn't the point of wearing a school uniform.

Her fan snapped together with a click, "Yes, I am an instructor." her voice held a regal ring to it, strong with authority. The sorceress gave him a description of the dorms and how to reach them, every twist and turn, and landmark so the student may easily find his way. That wasn't all she would leave him with though. Curling her fingers into her palm, a small violet flame appeared and when she opened her hand again, a fiery butterfly hovered before Meara. "If you still have trouble, the butterfly will lead the way. And one more thing," the tip of her fan touched his chest. "Though you are free to express your individuality as you see fit, there are some professors that request you where the standard uniform to their class--free of alterations. Do be sure to keep that in mind." Faye withdrew the fan, flipping it back open for her eyes to peek out from over the top.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Sable Fri Mar 31, 2017 8:09 pm

Sable grunted slightly at the feeling of someone making contact with her and as they spun around, to come face to face with her, the panther was shown a blonde male with all black eyes. He performed some sort of additional action and soon after speaking an odd phrase, went about his business. Taking everything into consideration, the teen hadn't the right to brazenly speak to her and so casually like that, while also paying her no more mind than a common ant. Pantera wasn't happy about that at all and even growled a little beneath her breath. Rather than understood the gesture of an apology, she let the negativity from the past event fuel her next couple of actions.

She didn't stomp her way to him, but easily strolled on over to him once he had engaged in conversation with a rather petite lady (petite to Sable at least). Something about her rubbed Sable the wrong way but she wasn't the focus of her anger. The moment the Jinko closed the distance between the blonde and herself, she tapped him on the shoulder with a finger, then quickly spun him around from the other one and with the momentum and expert body movements of a well-grounded fighter, Sable's fist connected with his jaw. Upon impact, there'd be a fierce sound that rippled the air around them and more than likely, he'd be sent flying from the sheer force put into the action. Surely, it was like being hit by an overprotective older brother.

"You bastard! Trying to step over me, will you? Give some sort of half-assed peace talk afterwards!? I need a good stress reliever anyways and you appear to be just the thing I need!" A primal roar echoed from her and if the students weren't all frightened, they were genuinely intrigued and some even attempted to instigate a fight, only for Sable to roar them out of the way.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Meara Fri Mar 31, 2017 9:08 pm

Meara was pleased to have met a kind teacher who was nice enough to provide a detailed explanation for him about where he should head in order to get there in a timely fashion. She even created a butterfly made from what was likely her own power to lead the way for him, just to be on the safe side. Once again, before he could say thank you though he felt the woman's fan touch his chest. In short the teacher had given him a warning about his uniform, something he expected to happen, however looks like he would also happen to watch what teachers he was around.

"Read ya loud and-"

"EO!"

Before he could finish thanking the woman, his guardian slime called out to him and he felt a tap on his shoulder. A warning signal shot through his head as he was spun around a fist was coming right at him. He stood his ground and put his weight into his legs. The fist collided and the heavy impact hit Mara as if it was something from the past. Despite this he didn't budge, Su Limes warning giving him the split second he needed to double down and bear the punch.

Make no mistake though the boy was in pain, however he simply stared forward at this woman. His bracelet translated her words and he listen to her berate him, apparently she wasn't given the respect she deserved. The boy had seen enough of her type on his bizarre adventures with Xaq and Alyssa. An as much as he had kicked their teeth down their mighty throat right now he was in a conundrum. Her action's definitely warranted the attention of everyone in this courtyard. An if he were to retaliate, odds are that wouldn't be good and he would be branded dangerous in the eyes of the academy. With this in mind he knew exactly how to handle this situation.

Once the woman finished screaming Mara didn't give her a word or a dirty look or anything of the sort. He simply turned his back to her looking at the teacher trying his best to keep the same warm smile on his face.

"Thank you for you help mam! An I'll do my best not to make any teachers mad about my duds." He spoke cheerfully and would follow the butterfly the moment it started moving. Mara may be young, but he already dealt with enough of her type. The worst thing that you could do to them is simply not give them the attention they craved. Most likely she was a big shot where she came from...well here at this place she was just another student same as him. An Mara had no plans being branded dangerous in this place..it was bad enough he had to be here after all.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Faye Fri Mar 31, 2017 10:41 pm

As the savage girl approached, Faye at first did not take her casual stride towards Meara as anything threatening, believing she was simply going to pass by. A clever move, hiding her intent like that. However, when she came closer, the sorceress knew something was off and the scream of the slime only confirmed it. The punch came so quickly that the half blood had no time to prevent it, and the blonde took the full force of the hit, standing his ground. Then with that same joyful tone, he thanked the sorceress for her help, ignoring his offender.

"By the light!" she gasped, turning her heated gaze to his assailant for a moment, and back to him. "Are you alright?"

Meara would be allowed to continue on, but not without her giving him extra directions to the nurse if he so needed. He did not encourage the confrontation and responded as any proper gentleman would. In the fairy's eyes he was innocent. The girl on the other hand was a different story. What had set her off to strike another student? She was determined to get to the bottom of this nonsense and reprimand her appropriately. Before Sable could follow, Faye would attempt to block her path by stepping in front of her. "What is the meaning of this? State your name this instant." she demanded, brows furrowed over her dark eyes that bore into the violent student.

A punch that was delivered so swiftly and powerfully, yet was shrugged off quite easily vexed the Jinko a fair bit. Honestly, if they were to have had engaged in an actual fight, that moment of shock would have been all the blonde needed to get in a fair share of jabs... But he did nothing. Rather, he thanked the regal figure in front of him and carried on his way, something she aimed to stop. Though, during her pursuit, the smaller female had stood between the two of them and Sable stopped nearly instantly, giving a deadly glare over to her as she stared her down.

"You should stay out of other peoples' business, lady." Her tone was far from respectful and even carried a rough, wild-like feel to it. Those eyes of Sable's had become feline in nature and were dilated to show her inner-huntress coming forth. "That hunk of stone over there disrespected me and thinks he can get away with it. My next punch will make sure to teach him the lesson he deserves!" And with that, she walked right past the woman. "Hey, you there! Walking away because you're afraid!? I challenged you to a fight and all you can do is tuck your balls behind your legs and run like a coward!? Fight me!" Sable demanded. This time she cracked her knuckles and rolled her neck out to show just how serious she was really getting.

Students were recording, others were whispering among themselves... Needless to say that the first day had begun at an exciting pace.

"Eo.."

"Su. Get in my pocket."

The two had a quick conversation before Su simply nodded and slowly made her way into a pocket on the jacket the sound of the zipper on the jacket closing. It was one thing for this woman to get angry at him and try using him for her little attention stunt. Though to use the woman that was kind of enough and just trying to do her job at this academy. That was a whole other ordeal in it's entirety. No one should have to deal with this girl and frankly, if this girl wanted a response so bad... Mara was definitely going to give her one.

For a moment or so Mara followed the butterfly before him until finally he turned around to address the girl. The bruise that settled from her punch earlier had already disappeared his regenerative trait starting up. Though the one noticeable trait he couldn't control right now was how his eyes changed from pure black to white orbs. Turning around he stared at the girl looking her up and down, she rolled her neck and cracked his knuckles. Though the boy seemed to be anything, but impressed.

"No one is here to satisfy your fragile ego. We came here to learn, if you want to fight so bad. Go do it somewhere else, no one here wants to deal with it. I apologize for bumping into you though you threatening a teacher to get people talking about you, pretty low. Do us all a favor and drop it." Mara this time was staring the girl down and watching every move she was making, she wasn't going to get another cheap shot on him. An to be frank, her attitude was rubbing off on him the wrong way. The more she spoke, the more she reminded him of someone from the past who really, really ticked him off.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Faye Sat Apr 01, 2017 12:30 am

Lovely. It was only the first day and already she was getting sass. Faye would not let this end well for Sable-- or Mara if he truly decided to bite into her provoking. The arcane inside the sorceress swelled as the young woman blatantly disregarded her authority, walking around her as if she were just a tree in the way, lower than dirt. Behind her stern expression, fire flared and burned across her spirit. That anger was reigned in quickly, however. Patience had always been a difficult aspect for her when dealing with misbehavior, a constant struggle between trying to understand a student's actions and wanting to strike right back with force. No proper lady engaged in such chaos... ladies did not start fights, but they could sure as hell finish them, and that's exactly what the fairy maiden aimed to do.

"Your business is my business--Do not walk away from me, young lady! I am speaking to you!" snapping her fan closed and placing it on her belt, she marched after the sharp tongued savage, her high heels clicking in a quick, angry rhythm against the reflective tile. Wysteria, disturbed by her owner's distress, roused from her sleep, perching upon Faye's shoulder with her back arched, a scaley feline ready to strike. She soon caught up with the two, finding the blonde preparing himself for a fight; his eyes turned from midnight to moonlight. He had good reason, of course, and had every right to defend himself. Still, this behavior was not suitable for school and she would not allow for it. "Stand down. I am giving you both one warning." the fairy dragon eyed the students down, readying herself to do something. Perhaps they would listen and she could settle all of this easily... light, that definitely wasn't going to happen. Already, she was trying to think of the report she would have to write down for Mickey.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Destinie Darkson Sat Apr 01, 2017 11:11 pm

[justify]It was the first day of school. Destinie was getting to better know her surroundings on her own, and the layout of the school so that she wouldn't wind up getting lost. Just in case, she kept a copy of the school map in the satchel that hung from her shoulder. Open house wasn't exactly enough time to remember every turn in this blasted place. She had spent a good majority with her special someone that morning, wandering and talking. It was a nice way to spend some time together, and she much enjoyed it. At least, until they had to go their separate ways, which was a bummer.

Sighing out, Destinie could hear whispers somewhere further down the hall. Those large, barren walls served well in echoing that which didn't want to be heard, she very easily found out. Curiosity drove her at least see what it was that was going on. After that, she'd be on her way to class, or so she told herself. With that in mind, she crossed an intersection to see students gathered around, a teacher, and two students in specific staring one another down.

'Damn. A fight on the first day, huh?' She thought to herself. 'Morgan isn't going to be...' "...Mara?" Destinie asked out loud, not believing that she was gazing upon the blonde that stood nose-to-nose with a woman. Was he... going to fight her?

Her feet stopped in what direction they were headed and redirected down the hall where everyone was gathered. As she approached, she could hear their voices. It was concerning, that woman was, but comforting knowing that it wasn't Meara doing the instigating. Pushing her way through the students that barred her path she came into sight of those white orbs.

"Mara?" Destinie called out to him, taking a few steps forward and towards him. "H-Hey. It's been a while. Why don't we, uh..." She trailed off, looking to Sable for a brief moment before returning a smile to the blonde. "Why don't we go find our classes, hm? I don't know about you, but I'm pretty lost. Think you can show me the way?" She chuckled softly. A lie, for the most part, but this woman was prodding a beast better left asleep.

Walking up beside him, she placed a soft hand at his shoulder, trying to further distract him from what was angering him. Meara was a good friend that she wouldn't let get in trouble on the first day, and definitely not with so many bystanders watching. Even they didn't know what they were in for should he get out of hand. "Let's go."

Their stare down would be a legendary moment, whether they knew it or not. This was the first fight in Disney Academy history, with the ones being involved as the progenitors of that little tidbit of history. Sable managed to successfully goad the teen into taking up his fists. Seems like threatening the innocent got him nice and worked up, those pitch-black eyes glowing white and the immense power behind them... Oh that got her especially intrigued. Licking her lips, she growled in a predatory manner and began to close the distance between them, only to be stopped by that teacher once more.

"What does she matter to you? This..." Sable took those feline eyes over to Faye and gave her a snotty up and down. "Teacher doesn't mean anything to ya, so why get so worked up...?" She chuckled. "Think you're such a big shot being able to use your fancy words and try to be the bigger person here, but let's face it, you're not worth the gorilla shit you smell like." More and more she slung her insults at him, but her eyebrow raised once that black-haired student entered the fray. Almost immediately she found her next window of opportunity for provoking Mara. "Ah, I get it. This must be the little lady who snipped your dick and balls, turned you into a pansy, coming to either fight your battles or bail you out. Hardly a man worth fighting, I see." Sable would turn her eyes over to Destinie and lick her lips again. "Maybe you'll do as a meal..." A very vague but very real threat, or so Sable made it seem.

"Teacher." The panther called. "I'll 'stand down,' as you call it." Another laugh escaped from her lips. The jinko turned her backs to the blonde, his bitch and that uppity dragon toting teacher, walking away from the three of them. "I wonder if that conscious of yours is able to think a little into the future. Since I haven't been satisfied, I guess I'll go something else that will satiate what I desire." And with that, she attempted to make her exit from the crowd.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Meara Sun Apr 02, 2017 12:09 am

He stared at the girl, not a single muscle moved as he awaited for her to possibly make a move, any move. He would be ready, her mouth continue to run and as it did it was obvious it was ticking the boy off, the glow of his eyes not dimming as they usually would do in this situation able to calm himself down by this point. Though to no avail, the more she spoke, the more he was giving into the pressure to punch her teeth down her throat. Though everything changed when he heard a voice, call out to him.

He turned his head to the side only slight keeping his eyes on Gorilla Jane, however before his presence was her...how long had it been? He sent her letter's, he sent her presents on her birthday, however he knew best to stay away from her and the happiness she built for herself. Though seeing her now, he honestly wanted to shoot himself for staying away...she looked beautiful, she looked amazing, she looked...taken. He had to remind himself of that, she was coming to his aid probably not for anything else other then there past of growing up together. Seeing her now it was obvious there was definitely still a difference in her beauty and his...okay...looks.

A hand touched his shoulder urging him to walk away and for a moment the glow in his eyes dimmed. An he almost walked away....until he heard it. The one before her called her a meal, licking her disgusting lips as if she could touch her. He didn't understand all the implications, but he knew enough. Immediately he looked up towards her and the glow in his eyes grew, ripples of red could be seen within his eyes as if the ever invisible veins suddenly came to life. He held his fist up and was about to punch forward however he stopped midway. The sheer force from his almost punch would feel as if someone had just casted a tornado spell. Blowing bystanders and onlookers back from the sheer power behind the move, his feather necklace flying out from underneath his sweater. The only area that wasn't hit with the full force of his halted punch would be where Destinie stood, the rest of the area was affected severely. Everything in his body wanted to hurt this girl...he wanted to hurt her bad...but...

"You aren't worth it." His voice sounded normal, however it was rough and he would watch her walkaway as she still moved. He had to calm himself down, he was in a crowd and even more so the girl of his dreams for the past couple of years was before him...he had to do something....anything! Turning to face her he closed his eyes for a moment or so, and when he opened them his eyes were once again black though his arms were still jittery the power still coursed through him.

"Sure, I'll help you....I was about to go look for the dorm's anyway." Mara spoke looking at her still taking how she changed after all this time, having to look up at points. Despite the seriousness and the fact that he was almost ready to throw away his entire academy career...Destinie looked really good in her uniform.

Wysteria lowered her head, curling back around Faye's neck as the chaos settled. It was for the best. The sorceress would have hated causing these students to go deaf for the next day or two, but it would have been her hope that it would have broken up their battle should it have come to pass. Honestly, Mara's "little punch" was enough to get him detention, but seeing how it was the first day, he was provoked, and no one got hurt from the blast of wind; Faye decided to let it slide this once. He wasn't the issue. The student walking off was.

The sorceress turned to the crowd that had gathered around to watch. "Move along! You all have many preparations to make before tomorrow." she made a shooing motion with her hands. The group of students groaned, filing out through the halls in different directions to continue their tasks for the day. Faye walked past Mara, placing a firm hand on his shoulder, a gentle warning before following after the savage student. Punishment would have to be given for this. She was not going to allow someone so volatile to go around searching for a fight.

It wouldn't take her long to catch up to her and she stuck out to the sorceress easily. "That's far enough, young lady. Come here." the second Sable denied her request or made some snappy remark, Faye would make her move. One warning was all that was ever given in most cases. One thing she loved about this school was the intricate decorations and in many areas there was flora. This corridor was no different. A soft purple aura surrounded her hands, a soft hum pulsing from the arcane surging through her veins. Small roots emerged from a nearby potted tree, growing until they had become thick green vines; they shot towards Sable, slithering snakes that attempted to bind her arms and legs to her sides. The sorceress had had about enough of this nonsense.

She'd either push them out the way or they made way for her, but Sable continued to stalk the hallway after her little confrontation with that boy. Her blood boiled in the sense she lusted for a fight at that point, but seeing as the blonde didn't bite near the end, he wasn't worth the effort trying to goad into a fight. Of course, that could have also been due to the fact that annoyance of a disciplinary figure, the woman with the fan, had continually butted in where her short self didn't belong. Another example being right now.

She heard a demand from the same voice and growled, turning around with dilated eyes which soon widened, Sable watched those vines close in on her. Now, it would have been a good tactic to have bound her and prevented her from moving any further, but alerting someone to your presence was a sure-fire way of failing a sneak attack. Vines drew closer and in a moment of self-defense, her eyes glowed a dark green in color. Two opposing forces collided with those plants and the teacher would find that the vines had struggled to tie up their target. Sable had control over plants herself, however, the Jinko could feel the intensity of magic from the teacher.

"You're powerful..." Pantera murmured before she shredded the vines to bits, then threw her hands up into the air. That's what they did when it came to submitting, right? "Fine, I'll go over there." She grinned after stating as much and started to walk over to the woman. The closer she got, the more her height and dominating presence grew. It was like she sent a message through her submission, "I turned myself in," was exactly what that aura felt like. A cocky, over-confident sort of vibe emanated off of Sable.

"Best be careful of poisoned goods, miss." It didn't take much to take note of what kind of person that woman was. Her very presence made Destinie shiver with disgust. She was to be avoided. Hopefully that teacher didn't have too much trouble with her. But frankly, she wasn't there to assist adults in quelling what should be their students, and as such, it wasn't her problem. With that in mind, the Darkson girl turned her attention to Mara.

It had been what felt like ages since she'd last seen him, and he did a great deal of growing. Looping her arm with his after Meara agreed to go with her, she started to tug him away from the antagonistic woman that had walked away and the watching crowd that stood around them. "I think I passed by them on the way here, actually. I hadn't found my room yet, so this might be a good chance to do so."

Having made it some ways away, Destinie inwardly sighed as to not have Meara aware of her discomfort, and let go of his arm, dropping it to her side. "Whew. That was tense. But anyways!~ How's it been going Mar? It feels like it's been forever since I actually seen you. I got all of your cards and presents. I wish I could have gave you some, but you never told me where you were, so I couldn't..." Turning her eyes off to the side, she let out a soft chuckle. "Guess I wasn't cool enough to know, huh..?" It was a harmless attempt to tease the boy, which Destinie tried to reiterate by playfully nudging him. "That's fine. We all have our secrets, yeah? But seriously. How've you been?"

The boys breathing finally returned to normal, and his bodies muscles finished its spasms from the possibility of getting into an heavy altercation. Mara saw that the teacher was going after Sable, and for a moment he thought he may have to assist again. Though before that could even come into fruition, the boys heart skipped at least a couple beats. Destinie looped her arm with his own and began to drag to him off, a blush overtook his face. She would feel the boys muscles in his arms as the move definitely was a little of a shock. Heck, that little surprise caused his eyes to glow white again for a moment. Though quickly he calmed down and took control of his body and his eyes returned to nomal. She spoke and Mara barely heard her in his head the boy was inwardly screaming at the thought of them having their arms looped.

"Yea! Haha uhhh personally that teacher had given me a butterfly of her energy to help me find my way around, but it dissipated after all that commotion in the ocean." Mara tried to joke with her, not knowing how long this moment would last and hopefully get her to chuckle or at least prolong the time. Though the moment that he finished speaking and they were away from the crowd he heard Destinie sigh and she let go of his arm. Meara's high ending when she did though he was still happy to be with her. Mara let her speak and looked down at the girl, taking in her words though once again was stuck on her smile...man that was a nice smile. A warm smile appeared on his face when she said that he had got his letters and his presents over the time when they had been away from one another. He doubted she still had any of them simply because of the passage of time, though it was nice to know she still had them. Her last two sentences struck a cord with him though when she said she wished she could have gave him something but she of course didn't have his location. That was fine, but then the girl spoke saying she wasn't cool enough.

"There's clearly a difference between whose the cool one and whose not. An trust me Des, there no way in heck it's me." For once that day the boy sounded how he did in the past, before he tried to change himself to seem cooler in his eyes. He was simply shocked by her words and she could possibly think even for a second she was the uncool one between them. Though after she playfully nudged him, he would playfully bump her back with his hip once she finished her last thing of we all have our secrets.

"It's not much of a secret and there's a reason why I never could tell you. I know it may not seem likely, but we were on the move ALOT when we were out there. I usually would go out of my way from what we were doing to get to the mail place, I just thank goodness they were all able to get to you. An...ya know...if ya ever wanna know about anything that happened...I wouldn't mind telling you sometime. I mean I'm not much of a secret holder I mean look at me I'm not exactly the face of stern silence." He spoke trying to reassure her, honestly he spoke the truth. His friends always wanted him on the move so he couldn't stop and think about the whole situation back at the islands and how he was a....as he kept on putting it 'a spineless gutless coward' for not being able to confess. So they were on the move a lot and boy did they have a lot of bizarre events during that three years. Subconsciously the boy gripped the feather necklace that he had around his neck.

"I've been awesome to be honest, though...me and my parents had kind of a falling out before I came to the academy. Though that doesn't matter they always got two more kids back at home in my sisters right?" He spoke in a joking manner near the end as to not have her worry...though he himself was believing his own words at points during the past couple days.

"Ya won't see Alyssa and Xaq for awhile there both on separate training missions with there family to learn the max potency of their powers or something like that. That was a month ago they left and ever since then it's just been me trying to train before coming into the academy and get ready for it. I guess I didn't do that great of a job because the altercation earlier. He once again tried to make a joke at his own expense. Running a hand through his the mop of straight blonde hair on top of his head.

"Though enough about my boring self. What about you, you look great and that you've really changed over the past years...I mean in a good way of course. I don't see any negative about ya....maybe a little pushy." The boy spoke and soon his insecurities hit him. He felt as though he was talking a lot and might have been boring her a bit. Deciding to stop boring the girl and let her get a word in edge wise at least.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Faye Tue Apr 04, 2017 9:59 pm

The vines dropped to the ground after they had been shredded; the surviving parts slinking off like scorned puppies until they returned to their original source. As Faye walked by the tree, she caressed one of the leaves between her fingers, filling the branches with renewed life that gave bloom to tiny white flowers. That should repair the roots that had just been destroyed. The last thing she wanted was to end up destroying the lovely flora placed around the school, many of which she had set up herself.

Her attention refocused on the savage, taking note of the glow that had consumed her eyes only a moment ago. That aura of magic was very familiar to the sorceress. So, this child held control over the plants as well. The troublemaker approached her, towering over the petite woman by far, but that didn't intimidate Faye. She had faced brutes and magical beasts twice her size and brought them to heel. This would be no different. Would this be a challenge? Judging from the savage's recent actions and her mocking attitude towards her, probably so, and the sorceress was no amused.

Having her this close, Faye could take in her features in detail, many of which irked her. Her lip twitched into a slight curl against her better wishes as she eyed the student from head to toe. What was that hideous, primal jewelry around her neck? And those earrings? Were those fangs? Disgusting... and that faint white paint on her face, she would look so much more lovely without it. Such a pity that the girl went out of her way to make herself look like an uncivilized cur. The uniform alone couldn't fix the theme that screeched from the girl. Thankfully, the sorceress was here to teach her better. There wasn't a disaster that Lady Faye hadn't been able to fix yet.

Faye narrowed her eyes at the few loose buttons on the panther's shirt, making her uniform look disheveled in her eyes. With a huff, she would reach out and try to button her shirt back up. "You are not very happy to be here are you? Can you explain to me why you are so eager to cause chaos? And you still have not given me your name."

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Sable Wed Apr 05, 2017 12:11 pm

Sable had expected their little power bout to continue, but much to her surprise the anal-retentive teacher hadn't lifted her finger. Rather, she did in a more literal way and had begun to button up her shirt. The Jinko raised an eyebrow and grumbled a little, trying to push her the teacher's hands away.

"No, no, don't do that! You'll make it harder for me to breathe in this damn thing." The young lady growled and backed away a bit. "I figured you sizin' me up was because you wanted to see what I was all about, not make me proper and shit." Pantera grumbled, reevaluating the woman before her. It wasn't often that someone so physically lacking held such power in their being, at least not in Sable's world. Honestly, Disney Academy was her first instance of actually leaving her own comfort zone, despite how much of Deep Jungle she traveled in the past. The woman thought she had seen it all, but apparently not. Sure, there were people there who were weak small-fry but then there were those like that boy, who was able to withstand a punch from her. Not just that but even though she brushed off his pulled punch from earlier, the huntress knew there was real power behind all of that. Now she was face to face with a morsel who can hold her own. "The people here are strange, foreign... They all wear things that inhibit their movements, barely any sort of trinkets that show their kills and status as hunters or huntress'. A good majority of them probably don't even know what it means to have a good fight." She stated as such and turned her eyes out and over to an adjacent window, where she gazed at the students still arriving.

That was when Faye would be introduced to the bit of humanity that was in the tribal woman. Her small speech showed that she was, for lack of better words, "disappointed." Disappointed because babied a lot of the students there seemed. "A lot of them would have died had they been born where I was from. I wouldn't accept weaklings in my clan and have them tossed out to rot." Then there was that sense of superiority in her tone. Another aspect about Sable that was nurtured, due to her apparent abnormal strength among those in her tribe. They heralded her as a goddess of the hunt and warden of the jungle. They called this goddess, Pantera. That's who Sable was to them and so, they expected great things from her yet worshiped her daily. "I'm testing them. Chaos and violence is a test all must come to expect in life, so I decided that I was going to find the biggest, strongest target and fight it... But then you showed up."

She growled and re-focused on the teacher, scowling at her. "You interrupted something that would have been great for me. Normally I'd already have someone like you killed but I sense something in you that's making me hold back. Call it self-preservation but I know there's more to you... And for that, you have my respect." Sable said in honest truth. "You may know my name. The people who birthed me called me, Sable. But those I ruled over called me, Pantera. Remember the names well, shaman."

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Destinie Darkson Wed Apr 05, 2017 1:53 pm

“That was nice of her.” Destinie smiled to him. At least the teachers proved to be nice enough. There was a time where she wondered how her mother would have fit in with the rest of the faculty, but it seemed as though there was no cause for concern.

“Pfft. What are you talking about? You’re plenty cool, Mar.” Destinie chuckled, looking forward only to get nudged in return. He was one of her best friends growing up, and boy did she miss him. Once and the others left, the island got a little lonelier, though the young Darkson did still have plenty to keep her occupied. She’d take a turn after a while, which would lead them to the dorms.

“No, I can believe it. All of you were pretty explorative even when you was just on the islands.” Destinie muttered, turning her bicolored eyes off to the side for a moment and looking out the window. It was a beautiful sunny day out there, and she wanted to get out there at least once that day. Listening to Meara continue to speak, she eventually looked back to him. “I’d love to hear about what you all did. Probably have some crazy stories to tell, huh?” She grinned, a bit jealous that his adventures were of his own free will. When Destinie and Fayt went somewhere, it was either on business as a Darkson, or as a mission of sorts to investigate or subdue a certain matter. It wasn’t all that fun, if she were to be honest. That didn’t mean that she didn’t get the eventual vacation to spend as she pleased.

“Oh, is that the necklace I gave you? I’m surprised you still have that silly thing...” She chuckled with an embarrassed tone, seeing him gripping the feathered necklace that she made for him ages ago. It was one of the only gifts she managed to get to him, and that was long before he left. Around her wrist, there was a cord bracelet that he had made for her in return, though Destinie insisted that he didn’t have to. It was a sweet gesture at the time, and she felt as though it only furthered their friendship.

That moment of fond remembrance was broken by bad new, however. Destinie looked to the blond and tipped her head to the side, a concerned look playing her expressions. She was about to ask what happened before she puffed out her cheek, disagreeing with his statement. His attempt at a joke was poor at best. “That’s not true, Mar, and you know just as well as I do that your parents love you. Sure Aunt Schwartz can be a little abrasive at times, but she means well, I’m sure.”

“That’s too bad. I was hoping to see them here.” She mumbled, tipping her head once more. Destinie considered Xaq and Alyssa friends, too, even if they didn’t talk much to her. But if they chose to train with their parents in specialized sessions rather than at an academy with several hundred other students, she could completely understand. “And don’t worry about it too much, Mar. There was something off about that woman, that even I didn’t like.” She paused to sigh, dropping her head as she imagined it. “It’s likely that even I would have done the same, if I were in your position…”

By this time, there were almost to the dorms. “I-I’m not pushy!” Destinie stammered to defend herself, blushing a bit. “A-At least… I don’t think I am…” she said, only to shake the thoughts off. “But I’m doing pretty great myself. Both my brothers are attending the school, too. I think it’s mostly because mom made them. Something about ‘if I have to suffer, then so do you’. Whatever that meant. Fayt seemed pretty eager, if you can imagine that. And once Arthur learned that his girlfriend was attending, he hopped on board. Oh, and Luke’s here too!” She turned to smile brightly at Meara with a look of fondness. “He’s around somewhere. Probably at the training field somewhere, knowing him. Why don’t we all go out to eat tonight? I’m sure you and Luke would have lots to talk about, right?” Destinie turned a smile to Meara, her eyes shimmering with a look of hope and excitement.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Meara Wed Apr 05, 2017 3:32 pm

Listening to Destinie speak and being so close to her there was quite a happy smile on his face, I mean lets face it. This boy had not only had dream's about this girl. There were also a couple fantasies that he had featuring her as well. An seeing her after all this and being able to talk so easily with her was quite the wondrous event. At least, it was within his own eyes.

"Lemme know whenever your in the mood for story time, I got plenty of stories to tell from the last three years if you can handle it." The boy responded to her when she said she would be delighted to hear her stories. Another chance to be able too talk and even more so possibly dazzle her with those adventures that they took together? Sold! This boy was definitely one happy camper that is, until she called his necklace silly.

"It's not silly its a wonderful and awesome present I was given, why, I even had my Alpha charm it so it wouldn't ever grow old and brittle also...." He slowly trailed off as he realized he was once again talking how he used to talk. Heck, he even turned to face her and made grandiose expressions. A part of him was actually a little offended that she had called the necklace silly. Though he did attract attentions thanks to his antics from the student's around them who would look at him weird or possibly snicker remembering this was the same guy who got punched earlier by the Amazon chick. However, Mara's mind suddenly blanked as he looked at Destinie right now he noticed something on her wrist that he hadn't noticed at all. Adorning her wrist was the bracelet...that he made for her all those year's ago after she had given him the feather necklace. Mara turned his head to the side and kept walking forward next to her, that being a complete surprise to him.

"I didn't really expect for you to still have that.... 'dumb' ole bracelet, I suppose shoes on theee other foot." He spoke once again back in his usual tongue and not his polished one, the boy trying to beat back a blush at the moment in time so that she wouldn't see it. Though of course, the good times and happy moments were very soon to disappear, Destinie spoke up about his parent's and it was obvious she was none to happy about his comments. The last thing he needed was the topic of his parents causing a fight with the girl he likes...and she did have some points. I mean they loved him...right?

"I suppose your right..and I would rather not have it be you in my position back there...only for that girls sake. You woulda dropped that girl so quick, by the time she hit the floor they a had you in the principals office." He spoke trying to get away from the topic of his parents and back to now and then. Honestly he believed without a shadow of a doubt that Des was alot more powerful then she looked and you add that just like him she acted emotionally sometimes too.....she was a definite force back then though everyone treated her like she was some dainty flower...course he was a little guilty of that too.

"Yea there both off on the journeys and when they come back there both probably gonna be super strong and probably totally amazing and what not, though i have no clue when they're returning." Mara spoke with honesty not entirely sure when they were coming back.

Mara had a laugh at destinie's stammering when she quickly defended herself at the pushy comment. It was for lack of better of word...and not wanting to use a better word, cute. She began to explain how Fayt enrolled in the academy as well...and so did Arthur....that wasn't the best news for him. Considering most of his memories of Arthur involve both pain and threats to his person for getting near Des. Though as she kept talking apparently Arthur had a girlfriend...it really had been a long time since they lost saw each other...well maybe that meant he would have other things to do then to beat him up and be mean to him...he hoped. An of course, Luke was at the academy...that wasn't a surprise, of course those two would come together here. Heck he wouldn't be surprised if those him and Des became the Academies 'It' couple....and he would just be-, Mara stopped himself and he shook his head real quick. He had to stop, this was why ended up staying away in the first place. So he didn't even possibly have a chance to destroy the house of happiness Destinie had built for herself...it wasn't right.

Seeing the happiness on her face as she talked about him...he realized just how much she liked him...and if he was being honest it...it did kinda cut him...just a little. Still she had a request of him...apparently to go out eating with her and Luke and catch up with them..learn more about the house they built together...he was ready to say no, though seeing all the hope and excitement in her eyes. There was no way.

"Sure that sounds wonderful." He said trying to keep the aire of the conversation positive and let none of his sudden sadness through and for once in his life he did quite a good job. Though his eyes were brightening a little for a moment, he could pass it off as excitement. "I'll be looking forward to it, the only way I wouldn't be there is if I get really lost or jungle girl back there finds me later tonight and finishes the job. Approaching the dorms he laughed at his own joke, just a little bit. Not wanting to have her be suspicious...though she was bright..topic change!

"Plus, these bracelet's can act as communicator and translators, so if anything you could always give me a message on it, or at least find out where i was kidnapped too." He once again laughed though honestly he had a few warning signs earlier about that girl...though she was stuck with the teacher now and odds were she wasn't getting away from her anytime soon.

Day one (open) Empty Re: Day one (open)

Post by Faye Thu Apr 06, 2017 7:43 pm

Faye couldn't help but think of the times she had dressed up a cat in bootie socks as the student stepped back. A small smile came to her face for a moment, but she quickly donned her typical serious expression once more. This was no time to laugh and joke. This girl was in trouble, technically and she couldn't act like this was amusing. The sorceress listened to Sable and it softened her heart towards the savage. The tribeswoman was out of place here at the academy, confused to the ways of this new culture she had been thrust into. Perhaps a more delicate hand would be required here--firm, but gentle.

"You will be exposed to many more cultures by the end of the day. There are those who have lived in environments just as rough as your own and those who have been raised in a more refined setting. One may show off their kills through jewelry, while others may show off their wealth through gold and silver. Both are a display of power. Each is different, and each nurtures a particular set of skills for survival. Neither is weaker than the other, simply an antithesis."  The sorceress placde a finger to her temple as an idea came to her. "Please, come walk with me. I would like to show you something. Judging from your abilities, I believe it will interest you."

Faye flipped her fan back open, keeping eye contact with Sable. Though she may have been small in comparison, the sorceress always felt ten feet tall. Ripples appeared in the crimson silk of her gown as she moved around the student, beckoning her with her fan to follow. "At the academy, you will see that diplomacy is more powerful than physical confrontation. Words can be just as powerful and sharp as a sword for they can cut directly into the heart. I understand violence is your way of testing the waters..." her eyes narrow slightly. "However, that will not work at this school--including other worlds. You may be an excellent warrior, I will not doubt that, but force will not earn you respect here. You will only find disdain if you continue to lash out in an attempt establish your superiority." she nodded as the student confessed her reluctant respect, sensing more to the sorceress. "A wise decision, Miss Sable Pantera. Worry not, I will remember."

Post by Sable Thu Apr 06, 2017 9:53 pm

Sable was mostly hesitant in taking everything the teacher said as truth. She wasn't ignorant in the ways people used words to coax their problems away. Guarded was the best word used to describe what the young lady felt on the inside. Listening to the shaman and how she explained that powers weren't just differentiated through physical might, but other forms of materialistic or superficial methods. Sable scoffed at the notion, not quite enjoying the sound of that. She'd have to see it done in practice, before she believed that skills through jewelry or words aided in survival.

Pantera had been intrigued to some degree when told that something the shaman wanted to show her would interest her. Her eyebrow raised itself in doubt, but she decided to follow along. For now. It was almost comical watching a muscular, height imposing woman follow behind such a petite, elegant one. "You mean to tell me people would rather use their words to assert dominance? What happens when those words fail?" She asked with a hint of annoyance in her tone. Having to involve herself with different cultures worried her to a degree. The last thing she needed was having her skills weaken through exposure to such lifestyles. Though, one part of the teacher's speech caught Sable's attention. "Do these 'other worlds,' as you call them use words to settle their problems too? All I know is the thrill of the hunt and the blood of the strong and young used in sacrifices... How do these people get by without strengthening the body and warrior spirit?" Pantera asked with genuine curiosity.

At the mention of the bracelet on her wrist, Destinie instinctively reached for it with the other hand and smiled. It had quickly become a part of her daily attire, and she was very careful to keep it from suffering wear and tear. “Of course I still have it. It was a handmade gift from a dear friend of mine.” She said with a slight giggle. The conversation continued on, and Destinie found herself looking to Meara with a raised brow. “You really think I could’ve taken that woman out? I dunnoooo~” She grinned, imagining herself for a moment as the strongest there ever was. Even someone like Uncle Veara would bow to her power. The grin faded soon after as she realized just how crappy that sounded. Destinie didn’t like the idea of thinking herself above others, especially when she was nowhere near as capable.

She was honestly happy that Meara accepted her invitation, and showed to him a bright smile. “Good. It’s a promise, then. Heehee~" She giggled, truly happy. Her boyfriend and her best friend being in one place, the three of them chatting and doing whatever it was teenagers do. “And if that woman does kidnap you, I will personally go out, kick her ass, and bring you back."

With one final turn, they were in front of the entrance to the male’s dormitory. “Well, here we are. You want me to wait here while you find your room?” Destinie asked him, tipping her head to one side. As she did, her long ponytail followed, falling off her shoulder. She’d already been to her dorm room, and became acquainted with it well enough. It was an odd feeling, if she were to be honest. She had grown up being so used to her twin being so close at hand, that having his room in a completely different building threw her off just a bit.
